Time that Bonds, War Rising~RP

Pt.2 Story:1/6*

An enchanting story of love, friendship, and war.

"Shoot for the stars, because I know you can overcome the 'impossible'."

This story is dedicated to everyone who has overcome an obstacle no matter how big or small they may have appeared to be. It also goes out to my inspiration who is forever with me. Loved but never forgotten.

@Wayzer

Aixi stood up tall shaking of the snow that had piled atop her. As she reared back down she noticed one of her companions, Night Strike had followed her through the storm. The pair of them were now inside the enormous ice castle belonging to the rulers of the Frejlord. For a home made of ice it was pleasantly warm and well lit inside. Everything sparkled reflecting light off of it's cool surface.

Bowing low Aixi lowered her head. A thunderous voice began to laugh. "Long time no see! Aixi, how have you kept? Busy I presume, although I expected you to bring more! Pray tell what has happened?" A figure stepped out of the shadows following the voice.

A pure white lion stood regally before the pony's. Aixi blushed, slightly embarrassed. "King Muramasa, I assure you I bring more soldiers to a war! I have a few of my comrades in a cart a few miles from here. " She went to continue on but was cut short by a fierce roar.

"You should have brought them here! It is not safe out there this time of year! I will send my wife and her guards out to fetch them."

"They have been through far worse then the treacheries that lay in this land, I assure you." Aixi responded shortly.

Muramasa's hardened eyes met Aixi's"Then I assume that they have already met your foe. Time should not be wasted."

A beautiful elf emerged from the darkness and walked towards Aixi defusing the situations. "Aixi, it is good to see you again. Although I do wish it was under better circumstances. You don't mind if I go and fetch your partners, do you?" She asked bending down to give her a hug.

The pair of them paused for a moment it had been a long while since they had last spoken, the reunion felt sweet. "Not at all thank you, as you both know we have much to accomplish and discuss in quite a short amount of time. Thank you Valeera." Aixi said gratefully. With that the elf nodded and headed out, followed by four others.

After the door had been shut once again the lion looked to them both"Why don't we wait for the others in the court yard." He stated

Without hesitation the proud white lion turned leading them deeper into the ice fortress. Aixi turned to Strike to see how he was holding up. She smiled, "Come on now. You heard him we have little time to spare."

Looking down at her oversized belly she softly murmured,  "But I have just enough."

A knock at the door of 'cart' came not long after Aixi had left. Night Song had glanced out the doors moments after the two pony's had left, he was glad they didn't go after them. He wouldn't have even been able to see his hoof in front of him. So they all waited momentarily. Everypony voiced their opinion on how to address the situation, but before a conclusion could be made somepony was there!

"Please open your doors!" A voice called out. "Aixi asked me to escort you all."

The doors to the TARDIS opened, standing on the outside was an odd sort of creature, one Night Song had not seen before. He felt his eyes bulge and his jaw went slack. 'This whole adventure surprises me in every moment. Nothing could have ever prepared me for this.' He thought to himself as he gained composure and smiled feeling like he was finally alive.

Finally making something more of himself. He stood tall and took pride in knowing he was fighting for life and all forms of it. The bigger picture finally had began to sink in. 'All life is equal. Why doesn't everyone fight? Why can't we all stand up to it?'

Then again he already knew the answer to that, "It is because, a war is not of good or evil. Both sides can never be happy, nor is either side ever completely right. A war is not simply black or white. It is a competition of who is strongest, and who will live on.", or at least that is what Aixi had said to him.

Night Song shook his head, clearing his thoughts. He reminded himself to remain focused on what was at hoof, and right now it appeared to be an odd creature with pointy ears.

Ora looked over to her assigned companion, it amused her to see somepony working so hard. She smiled proudly to herself considering herself an expert con artist. 'Well, I did in fact convince some important ponies that there was long forgotten history and treasure out this way, which there is but that didn't mean it would be easy to get to. So they sent this pony with me. Said he was the best of the best. That could be debated.... Anyway, I only want one thing. I only need the egg. That is the only thing that I truly desire.' She smiled at her thoughts, as the  pair trudged onward in an uncomfortable awkward silence.

Critical looked away from the monitor to see one of the companions open the door to see somepony else. Who it was, Critical couldn't see. He went back to the monitor and his heart stopped a bit. Aixi wasn't on screen, he had lost her on the sights and the tardis could no longer get a lock on her. "No... no, no no no no." He began to frantically flip nobs and switches trying to find his lover in the snowy mountains. Critical tried to calm himself, he knew full well Aixi was tougher than nails and could take care of herself. He would just have to wait. But there was something else in the Tardis. Maniacal laughter filled the console, creating an uneasy feeling. "Well, how unfortunate. The little prince has lost his princess. How... hilarious-ha-ha-has." Critical began to search for the source of the laughter. Spinning in the chair was a stallion. He had pale brown coat and long black mane. "Who the hell are you? how did you get in here?" The stallion began to laugh once more. "Oh, you still don't see it. I'm you. You live in a time machine, so this is to be expected. Future lives coming to visit." Critical was stunned, he had only met the sun-slayer and he was a handful enough. "So, what do you call yourself?" "Oh, what don't I call myself. There's the Mad-stallion, Laughing Stallion. So much more. But, I just dropped in to say hi, check in on my past life and what not." Critical looked at this odd stallion and couldn't believe it. "How old are you?" He gave a scoff. "I don't know. We lose count after 14,000. It gets hard so I stopped keeping track."

Lee was watching all the chaos from a seat in the main room

There was something at the door and now Mr. Critical was talking to some strange cackling pony that had appeared out of thin air. "The fools. If they really wanted to find her, they would've just asked me for help. I'm a changeling, or

don't they remember? My eyesight is actually pretty great at night. Not as good as a cats, but still pretty good." He mutters all this to himself as the chaos continues. "Stupid racist ponies. I don't even need eyesight to find her. As long as she's emotional in the least bit, I could find her." He thinks this to himself then makes up his mind. "That's it. I'm going to go find her. Maybe then everything can settle down." So Lee gets up, and walks to the door. He slips past the figure there and gets outside and is immediately hit by the cold. He shivers, casts a quick spell around himself to conserve his heat, the moves on quickly through the snow. He focuses on his antenna and is able to barely pick up some kind of emotional trace of Aixi and a companion. "Well, you've got them. Now to follow the trail." With that, Lee sets out on Aixi's trail.

@@PurplePony,

NightStrike just gasped at the creature. "This is getting weirder and weirder by the minute." He chuckled to himself, thinking about how incomparable and more exciting this was than his past life. In front of him stood an enormous gigantic lion. And it was white, but if that wasn't weird enough, it even talked! And it voice was lower than NightStrike's even though he had quite a low voice.

He also took notice of the interior, which he had to say, was beautiful. It was like everything was made of ice, yet it was also warm. And though NightStrike loved to find a reason for everything, he couldn't think of anything besides some really advanced magic. This just all went him above his head.

He turned his focus to Aixi, and replied: "Yeah sure, I'll come with you! Seemingly we're all hasty, and I wouldn't like to slow you down" thus he followed the two to the central courtyard. He saw that Aixi looked at her own belly "Well eeh Aixi, I have got to admit, that has to be some of the best timing I've seen in quite a while" He said jokingly

Aixi smiled her knowing smile while flashing Strike a peculiar look. "Indeed, my timing is impecable." She whispered

The pair followed Muramas down the halls in silence. For Aixi it was like taking a stroll down memory lane. Still with the plastered look upon her face she thought to herself, 'I have secured a few of my allies. You mustn't think I haven't prepared any and all out comes? I just pray...'

Few noises could be heard as they walked the halls, hushed voices and whispers could be heard from the shadows, occasionally a servant who was caught off guard could be seen rushing into a hiding place. It felt good, to see order and compliance felt wonderful. It was a welcomed change from the chaotic state she had been thrusted into. Finially it would appear that all was starting to fall into place.

An enormous room upened up before the creatures as they entered a lush court yard. It was as if they had left all the snow and Ice behind. Looking back one could see the entrance to a cave. It was truly a sight to behold. for beyond the courtyard was the bustling comunity of the Frejlord. It was all trapped in an icy cage, all though now it would not appear so. Looking to Muramasa Aixi smiled, "It looks much better now. Your reign has grown.  It proves that you made the right decision."

The white lion turned his elegant head slightly eyeing them, indeed I have." He finished with a mighty roar.

No sooner had he finished Aixi stood dumbfounded realizing she couldn't move. Taking a closer look around she noticed the tops of several elves. They appeared to be mouthing incantations of sorts. Her eyes widened as she began to understand.

"A binding spell, but judging from your expressions you already understand why. Take them away, but make sure she is separated from the others."

"You will pay Muramasa, you will pay for this!" Aixi yelled out.

Bound by magic the helpless friends watched as they were separated. "I will get you out of this! Aixi called out nearly in tears. Stay strong"

Holding herself together as she was personally escorted by Muramasa. Or rather dragged about to the room that was supposed to be a 'cell'. She felt her body effortlessly tossed across the room. She collapsed gripping her stomach. Kneeling across the room the princess bowed her head in shame.

"Oh relax! You are not a prisoner yet." The lion stated slyly before leaving and locking her in.

~

@Mr. CriticalWayzerRokkurin,

Outside the city gates of ice a group of elves stood at the Tardis, "My name is Valeera. The one you follow Aixi has sent for me to fetch you. Now with all due respect I suggest that you follow. Many things must be prepared and I suggest you follow us back. Your assistance is necessary and your compliance would be appreciated.

@@PurplePony,

Guardian nodded his head and took a step outside the TARDIS. All around him were creatures he has never seen before. They were beautiful yet terrifying. "Wow." he says to himself. "These creatures are amazing. I can't believe Aixi knows of such species."

Even with the cold weather, Guardian felt no chill as he watched on and waited for the rest.

Unknown Location

A stallion, with a mane as dark as the black void that was his heart, marched on. His piercing red eyes showed malice and hatred. His purple fur blended into the pitch of night.

"They think to be rid of me?" he said to himself. His voice low and powerful, "I am the darkness that swallows the light. I am the end to the beginning. I am eternal as they shall pace on, even you, Aixi. You all shall know true pain soon enough."

The stallion marched into a small village that was alive with hustle and bustle. A vendor ran up to the wandering stranger, "Greeting there new pony! Would you like to try so-"

The vendor was unable to finish his sentence as an invisible force was crushing his wind pipe.

"Weakling." the stallion said with his eyes a glow. A sickening snapping sound was heard before the limp body of the vendor lay before his hooves.

The stranger never gave a second look as he marched on.

The Critics saw the new creature at the door of the tardis. The new one gave a crooked smile that stretched across his muzzle. "Ooh, I remember this part. I can tell you are going to have a lot of fun in the coming future, Mr. McCritic." Before Critical could look at the alternate version of himself, he was gone. No hint or trace of any kind indicating her was ever there. He was getting worried. What could he have meant by his words, or was he just a version of himself that went insane. Critical did not know. Instead he went to the front to greet the new beings. They were tall and bipedal with long ears. He heard one of them mention Aixi but not in a malicious sense. They seemed to be the allies she spoke of. But Critical knew better to judge by the what they say. He would remain wary of them until proven otherwise. "We are indeed friends of Aixi. She is my lover and friend. If you want us to go with you, then we shall. I just ask that you tell us where it is we are going. I don't often like suprises." Critical awote for a response.

NightStrike usually was quite a calm pony, but right now he really had to keep himself calm. After he couldn't move it didn't took long to realize they must have been betrayed, by the lion who seemed so nice earlier on.

@@PurplePony,

NightStrike looked over to Aixi as they got separated. He heard Aixi shouting towards king Muramasa and him. She promised she would get him out of this. He looked into her eyes calmly and nodded gesturing her that he would also do everything to escape this prison they would put him in.

Of course he was stripped of all his weapons first. Which he had honestly quite a lot of. His guards where quite surprised as they kept founding what seemed like an infinite supply of toxic darts, crossbow bolts for different purposes and knifes in all sizes imaginable. They also took his bow and short sword with them.

They where however even more surprised after they found out there was no way they could take off the stealth suit NightStrike put on himself earlier. It was it was sealed with a biometric lock and there was no way to get it off him unless NightStrike really wanted to. After trying for quite a while, the guards gave up and seemed content with the situation making some threads about cutting it off him later on if he didn't want to cooperate.

And so NightStrike was walked to his cell. He walked calmly next to the guards refusing to struggle because he knew it was pointless. He could probably take on these two, but he was sure there where 10 others waiting for him somewhere where he couldn't see them. Giving NightStrike the occasional push the guards finally got him to his cell pushing him in and locking it tightly behind him.

Of course NightStrike the curious pony he was, silently investigated the entire cell to see if there was some way he could get out off as soon as the guard left his cell to check on another prisoner.

Lee had tracked Aixi's emotions to a large castle. He'd kept hiddend, watching the large building for a long time. When absolutely nothing happened, he started to think that maybe his senses were playing a trick on him. He was about to turn around, when he felt an overwhelming sense of alarm, then anger flash through him from the direction of the castle. He whispers in horror "We've been betrayed". Then, casting a special cloaking spell that would keep him hidden from all but the most advanced magics, Lee sets off, sneaking towards the castle. As he draws near, he opens his senes up to encompass the whole area around him. Thus far, nothing had spotted him. He made his way to the door, then, deciding that would be to hard, started at the wall of the icey palace. Judging the walls not to be solid enough to stick to, Lee quickly started to scale the wall. It was risky business. He'd climbed all over vertical walls before, "But that was when I had my wings to catch me." He thinks miserably to himself. He finally makes it to a window and soundlessly ghosts inside, avoiding strange bi-peadaled beings with pointy ears. "What in King Metamorphosis's name are these beings?" He asks himself in wonder. "Hopefully Aixi can tell me." He follows her tremulous emotions to a large dark empty room. Quickening his pace, he silently jogs across the room to a barred door. Stopping in front of it, he peers inside, seeing a dark shape frozen in place. "Aixi." He whispers, just loud enough for her to hear. He considers dropping his cloaking spell, but figures he might have breezed past an unkown amount of wards and alarm spells. If he dropped his cloaking spell now, they might all go off. He decided to keep it in place for now. Keeping his senses open so as to keep track of all the emotions around him, he decideds it's safe to call out one more time. "Aixi. It's Lee. What happened?"

@Mr. Critical

Valeera spun around her gazed fixed upon the soul whom had spoke last, she smiled as she spoke,"You claim to be her lover, her friend, yet you laze behind and ask questions on top of it," As she spoke a melodic tune could be heard.

It was as if the howling wind sang out to the group. Still smiling at the stallion who had spoken out Vallera continued on, "She is in our care at this moment. You left her and she could have been in danger. Do you truly love her?" The elf sneered, "Or are you more concerned for yourself? I have information you all may want to take into consideration, especially yourself. You can choose to follow or stay behind. The choice is all your own to make."

@Rokkurin

She smiled sweetly as she turned her attention to one of Aixi's other so called followers. His coat shone gold even in the harsh weather. It was truly a sight. He was beautiful, truly a magnificent creature. She could tell he emanated power, "Thank you for noting the grace of our kind. Truly we mean no harm. I fear this may be a misunderstanding. I only ask that you hear  us out. We may speak further with my partner, our home lays a little way from here. But i fear that you all may have been deceived."

She glanced down her nose at the pony's a more serious look upon her face. as she turned and walked onward towards what one could assume was the ice fortress the singing of the gale force winds continued, filling listening ears with howling whines.

Aixi paced around in her room. the door was sealed with an enchantment unknown to her. If she was not in her condition it would be another story but she couldn't risk the life of another, at least not this one. As she paced back and forth she attempted to gather her bearings. Judging by the circular shape of the room and the amount of stairs they had climbed Aixi was in one of the fortresses many towers. "Whew" Aixi breathed out.

She found herself weak and out of breath when it at last dawned on her. "I am in the tower of Einvera."

She could feel her body cringe as the realization struck. Her powers were being torn from her, her life force was draining away. The only time they had used this tower was in times of desperation, 'surely I am no threat.' she sat humming over her thoughts when a voice from above interupted. It was lee. Thinking for a moment she weighed out her options. Deciding to fly up to the tiny window she met lee. His voice sounded far off. "Lee, I do not understand what is going on here. King Muramasa is going to extreme lengths. He is clearly not afraid to use strong precautions. Do be warry and use your descretion. Either way. I am sitting here dying. This tower is taking my energy and I am slowly growing weak. You all must either leave to defend or stay to save Strike and myself. We both have made the sacrafice to die on this mission. if this is where it ends I wish you luck." Aixi wasn't sure how wel he could hear her or if she drew any attention to herself.

as she flew back down she settled herself on the floor in fetal possition. Laying on the floor craddelling her stomach. After proping herself as comfortably as she could Aix closed her eyes leaving this world. Putting her body into a deep transe Aixi entered the mists, the world between worlds. The realm of the shadows.

Aixi breathed in deeply, I am so sorry to put so much stress on you.' she thought to her body, 'I wouldn't do this if it was not necessary. I need to live.

@@PurplePony,

It was getting close to the year mark or at least that was what the count of days said. Ever since leaving the Xaus dominion, Caiesm had felt a freedom. Yata's voice did not reach this far...Many times he could have fled and never have to worry of his mission, but he had made a deal with the goddess. Both would benefit greatly from it. I am Mesiac after all. My sister and I had known this coming for a long time. Caiesm frowned a bit. Throughout the years, he had grown attached to Teya and even wished to quit his objective and flee with her in his hooves. She dreamed of so much more...If Yata's powers awoke Mesiac within him and combined using the shards, Teya would be no more. Caiesm sighed at the thought and brush it aside. Back to the mission...

The land of snow...so far out of Yata's dominion. Cold was never a problem. It was always the lack of food and liquid water that went with it. By his attire, the black stallion whose muzzle brimmed in white fur had carefully prepared himself for such a desert of the world. His bags still carried his supplies and the tome to carefully extract the fragment of Yata given by Teya. Covering Caiesm's majestic Xaus armor, a large leopard skin followed by a bear-fur coat kept his body heated. Caiesm's coarse, dark hooves of the night felt warm in the plated fur boots he had obtained despite his mouse friend's impatience earlier before they entered the white world. Conjurations always only have one objective. He chuckled as Klaki tugged on his mane with his tiny paws...then they die. Sad life of a summoned creature. "Klaki, is there any knowledge of this land through the eyes of Yata that you know of?" Caiesm asked through the serene landscape, knowing that it wouldn't have been unlikely, "My kin have never traveled this far from the aura of the city of Xaus."

Lee sat for a moment, then blinked. That wasn't the answer he was expecting. 'Ok...what do I do?' He wondered to himself. 'I could try blowing this gate open...I'm certainly not suited for combat though. Maybe I should go get...what's his name? Night strike? Yeah, I'll do that. Then we can blow this place wide open.' A grin spread across his face as this thought crossed his mind. He whispers in to the room one more time. "I'll be back. I'm getting Night Strike." With that, he took off at a swift but quiet trot, following the dull, monotone emotions of...well, not exactly calm. More like a suppression of emotions. A lack of emotions? Something like that. What ever Night Strike was feeling, he was trying hard to remain calm. Lee followed his emotions to a large cell block that contained a large number of prison cells. He silently stalked past those strange two legged beings and prison cells until he came to a large corridor lined with multiple guards. 'they certainly aren't taking any chances with him are they?' he wondered to himself. He watched them all for a moment, then an idea struck him. He carefully looked at all of the strange two legged beings, analyzing them. Then, very slowly and carefully, he stood up on to his hind legs. He teetered back and forth for a moment, then found that he was able to strangely balance easily. As he stood there, he felt the pores in his body seem to open a bit more, pulling air through them, steadying him. 'Is that what they'er for? Did we changelings battle two legged creatures long ago, and were gifted with these to be able to stand like them?' He then shifted himself to look like an elf, slowly mixing the image of all the guards he'd seen so as not to look like just one guard and not be mistaken for someone else. 'that would be awkward to explain.' Then he released his cloaking spell and stepped in to the hall. "Hail, fellow...beings. I've come to escort the prisoner." Before any of them can respond, he releases a bright flash of magic that blinds them. Then moving as fast as possible, he moves from one guard to another, dispatching them in different ways until he was the only one left in the room. He quickly erects a barrier to stop anyone from entering, then goes through all of the bodies until he finds the keys. He steps up to the door holding Night Strike and opens it. "Night Strike. It's me, Lee. We gotta go save Aixi. Come on!"

Guardian watched as the creature began to walk off in the distance. He quickly followed behind. The cold air nipped at his fur, looking for any spot to enter and bring with it the frost that would kiss like a thousand stings. But to no avail did the winters grasp find a way in. "If you would be so kind as to tell me where my friend is, we can sort out any mess that has followed suit." Guardian said. He watched as his hot breath formed a cloud in front of him that stayed for a bit longer than usual, before it began to swirl and grow larger. The snow that surrounded him was replaced with nothingness, yet the fog remained. The warm breath began to take shape.

Guardian stood, his eyes the size of dinner plates. His mouth hanging open slightly. His breathing has quickened and sweat began to form, as the apparition took form of his greatest enemy. "It's so good to see you again." the ghost says with a low and terrifying voice. The stallion ghost chuckled, "I assume you did not expect to see me so soonYou all sending me far away so that I may never returnBut you all made one major mistake."

The ghost swirled around Guardian before it stopped in front of his eyes, the red iris' of the monster peering into his very soul, "I AM MORE POWERFUL THAN ANYTHING YOU COULD EVER IMAGINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"post-20311-0-51198200-1401339247.jpg

And just like that, reality returned to Guardian who fell forward out of breath. His heart beating a thousand times a second. He shook slightly, knowing that what he just saw was no mere trick. He has returned!
