Nope. Once upon a time, there was, but for reasons beyond me, it no longer exists. I believe it was due to difficulties moderating. Perhaps one day we'll se a return of one, but discussion of it has always been brief and offhand.

As stated before, no, at the current time there is no chat room. There was one once upon a time but it didn't work out well and currently we don't see ourselves adding one anytime soon. See the FAQ entry linked in the Best Answer for more details.
