My Little Alicorn

As crazy as this sounds and this is just an unrealistic scenario,

 

What if the show would have been My Little Alicorn?

 

Everyone in the show would be an alicorn, there would be no pegasus, unicorns, or earth ponies. Just alicorns.

 

What would rule the world then? Would there have been a higher being than alicorns? 

 

This would change everything in the My Little Pony universe...

 

Thoughts?

I wouldn't like the show as much as I do.

Flying/mage ponies everywhere would decrease the diversity of the characters. I really like that there're 3 "groups" of ponies : earth ponies, unicorns and pegasus ponies.

i think princess celestia and luna would still rule because they are the princesses and they have the crowns. they are the figure heads and they would probably just say. twilight you are ready to be a princess now

The show would lose a major part of what makes it interesting for me. I like diversity a lot; I like it when I see different ethnicities as main characters. It gives the show uniqueness and gives it interesting moments.

 

Think of it as this way: Would you prefer a diverse team/group as the main characters or muncho-honcho blond supermen as the stars of a show? I'd rather pick the diverse group.

It would be interesting, I would like all those non-equine species removed. There are so many different kinds of fanon and formerly canon pony races usable in the show; moth ponies, snake ponies, fluffy ponies, sea ponies, etc.

I'll give that show a shot too. Donno what the show will be about, but it'll be interesting.

 

Diversity is very good, especially for MLP. I especially like how they got a pair of each type of ponies. Keeps it even.

Probably would've been stupid. I mean, we can take a page out of DBZ, since the entire main cast pretty much became a saiyan flood fest, and it turned into crap.

Ditto to what the others have said when they said the show wouldn't be as interesting. The diversity between the pony races is what caught and held my interest in the show.

 

I also like the idea that the status of Alicorn has to be earned. To simply have all of the characters of the show be Alicorns would suck all the uniqueness out of them, as well as "cheapen" the Alicorn species…
