How to post pictures?

I was just wondering how to put a picture in a post or signature. I'm looking through the options, and a couple things seem like they're made for posting pictures, but I'm not sure how they work.

The simplest way to upload a picture is to use an image hosting website. Some good ones include Imgur, Lightshot and Ctrlv.in. Once they're online, the board will allow you to just copy and paste them straight wherever you want them. My signature comes from Imgur if you look at its properties, for instance.

 

You can also use My Media to upload pictures for use in threads, but not for signatures. You can do that by selecting the Attachments option under "More Reply Options" when responding to/creating a thread, and you can choose a picture to upload for use later. Those are the two principal and easiest ways to upload images. n.n
