MarcelineA 126 April 23, 2014 Share April 23, 2014 I'm not attacking you, hun. Just curious to know your reasoning, that's all. = ) Alcoholism actually runs in my family, so I know the dangers of substance abuse and overindulgence. My grandfather died of alcohol related causes when I was very young. He drank copious amounts every night. And my other grandfather is a recovered alcoholic. Like I said, I'm not one to go out and drink myself to oblivion on a regular basis. (And to be frank, I wouldn't date someone who did either. Alcoholism is scary stuff.) But having a few drinks is a pleasant thing to indulge in occasionally. I don't drink to the point where I lose control of my sensibilities; I'm still in control of my mental faculties while tipsy. But being tipsy is a very pleasant sensation. Everything is bad when taken to excess. (Even things that are supposed to be good for you.) But a couple glasses of wine or cider every few nights isn't going to harm me. In fact, moderate drinking (one, maybe two two glasses a night) actually comes with a whole bunch of health benefits. And I usually drink red wine or cloudy apple cider, which are both noted to be particularly healthy choices. Actually I don't have a problem with wine in moderation it's basically the only drink I don't have a problem with and no I understand sorry if I seemed angry I guess it was just the atmosphere of the night so I'm sorry but well I know with moderation is not AS bad but to me a little can turn into a lot and so on and not everyone can control it I mean (I know I did said I wouldn't date someone like that) but also if I get to know the person better I MIGHT give them a chance but if I see one more sign of alcoholism then no basically almost every single guy in my family drinks or is an alcoholic (and I don't say it as a gender stereotype I mean it like 50% of the women drink but technically all of the guys in my family drink idk why it's just my family though I know some other people have different families but the fact I've seen it so much drives me nuts if anyone was a big alcoholic was my dad and I REALLY hate my dad I can't help it I really hate him for multiple reasons not drinking persay but if I get with someone that drinks it would be a reminder of my dad and I wouldn't be able to tolerate that as much XD Always be Fabulous and love your friends ^-^

Anneal 2,197 April 23, 2014 Share April 23, 2014 I'm a guy who sits down on the toilet. If I can check that the seat is down, so can girls. It's not difficult. It's a toilet seat. All you have to do is look down, there's literally no effort involved in looking at where you're about to urinate before you do so. If you can't be aware of where you're taking a wizz before you pull your pants down, then it's your own fault. To be honest...some guys have "poor aim" anyway and cause some issues.

If it's indoors...bleh. Go clean it up, dumbass. Some people don't like the idea of swallowing their own saliva so they spit instead so it becomes a habit. Some probably don't even realize they are doing it. Edited April 23, 2014 by Discordian

Conformity isn't bad on it's own. Forced conformity is the problem. Some people just don't care enough about being unique in specific areas of their lives and conformity is so much easier and faster. Deviation from the norm has been known to cause problems so it's to prevent such things from causing said problems as much as possible. Some people find certain hair colors offensive, for example, and instead of just telling people to 'deal with it' they are just eliminating the problem. It causes some grief among those who want to do it but things could be far worse. There is still a line they have to draw, however, and it helps to have a specifically defined line instead of doing it individually.

Urine and defecated material everywhere on the toilet seat, toilet paper littered, and an extremely horrible smell. And that's why I never use public bathrooms anymore. I'm a fan of the classic series, and a few of those actors are even older. Their argument is just dumb. Besides, Peter Capaldi is a silver fox. Any girl who can't see that doesn't have eyes. I for one can't wait to see how he portrays the Doctor. Character and acting ability is what matters, though a pretty face certainly doesn't hurt matters. (There's a reason why Marvel chose Scarlett Johansson for Black Widow, and it's the same reason why they chose Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth... And pretty much everyone else in The Avengers.) 1 The Crystal Minstrel Pony Tumblr Kay Dreamer's Roleplay OC and Cast Character Archive

Did you perform a head count of "number of men I've been attracted to vs. number of women" and the ratio was 4 to 1? Shisko (Collin) 34 April 24, 2014 Share April 24, 2014 (edited) I'm just curious, do you men have anything that you don't like girls doing? Or do you girls have anything you don't like men doing? Let's hear it! But please, play nice about it! ^^ As for me, I occasionally go shopping with my mother when she asks me to. When she's picking out dresses or shirts (yata yata yata), she'll always hold up one and ask me what I think of it. Honestly, I don't know or really care about any of that stuff, so I'll usually just say it looks okay or something and then ask her why she always asks me what I think. She'll just tell me it was a rhetorical question. Also, for some reason I've never been fond of girls painting their nails. I have no clue why, it's just always bothered me for some reason. xD So, with that said, what do you guys think? Any pet peeves of the opposite gender you'd like to share? ^^ To be truthful, I'd say the biggest thing I do, that other guys don't do are (girly things obviously *the z thing with the snaps* But what girl's don't do and I do is 1 I have the weird drinking thing that I do, (Apple's, Rainbow Food Coloring, and Icecream that is melted.) I put in a blender and drink that a lot! Also, I can pretty much eat anything, and I don't think that's a girl type of thing to do. Edit: Wait, that wasn't the answer! I guess I dislike how girls gossip, so much... (Or most do) Edited April 24, 2014 by Shisko (Collin)
Envy 6,155 April 24, 2014 Share April 24, 2014 when guys spit on the floor. is that supposed to be cool or something? Yeah, I've always wondered this... One guy I know told me gave me a reason, but it was specific to him being out in the dirt a lot (a horse barn or whatever you call them) and to be honest, I quickly understood why after being there for a while. >.< The spitting at random that guys do I can not understand one bit. This is gross, but I do get quite a bit of saliva in my mouth, and it makes it frustrating to play my bassoon. I'm constantly having to blow the 'condensation' out. Like more than anybody else. The first bassoon player in orchestra last year just had to remark to me "Geez, you have a lot of spit!" It was like so embarrassing! >.< Yet, I never ever have the need to spit, ever. So I don't think guys actually need to do it. lol 2 Everything needs more woodwind!
