The Night Express silently rolled up into Ponyville Station. I stallion with golden fur and a mane as white as the snow stepped off. He was wearing his custom made armor that clanked together as he trotted away. "I'm finally back." he said as a calming breeze blew over his face, "After four years, I'm home." He then wrote a note to himself. This memory contains the time you realized you'll never find a mare. You'll never find love. You're going to die alone, just accept that. He then concentrated his magic on him. He took away his memory of this night, and contained the memory. He already placed a picture of a black heart shattered in a million pieces. She then lit her horn and made the wind sing a calming tune that attracted some birds who flew over and perched in her mane. They started to sing along with the tune. Melody decided to follow him, hoping that sneaking up to him wouldn't be so rude. She was concerned about him and both of them were going through the same thing.
