No more flanderization of Pinkie! Her treatment in episodes where she wasn't the focus this season drove me crazy. She was so mean and creepy in Filli Vanilli that I nearly thew a shoe.

 

No more making spike the butt of the jokes. I'm not that keen on him as a character *ducks behind a wall* but as he's there I'd like to at least see him treated with respect and decent plot lines.

 

No more cutie mark crusading. I love the CMCs and I like episodes focussed on them, but I'd like to see them get the damn cutie marks already and have their episodes be about them as characters. The cutie mark thing is getting old.

 

Less Rainbow Dash. I don't dislike her as such - she and Fluttershy are my least favourites but that's only comparatively speaking as I do <3 all of the mane six in their own way. I just felt this season was too Dash-heavy for my personal taste.

I am a bit applaud by this..

 

However things I do not want to see is an episode about any background pony..Esp fan favorites as it wouldn't make sense unless it was written well.. I don't understand how people can say they don't want to see the mane six anymore? and how people can say they relate to derpy or Vinyl Scratch or other background ponies since we don't know nothing about their personality really.

Less meddling from Hasbro, plz. Of course I know they have no choice whether or not  Hasbro wants to force their bad ideas on the show, but they gotta do something about it.

Make it less gaudy, i suppose?

 

I would also like to see them stop making Spike the butt of everything. The little guy's got heart, he doesn't deserve to be written into such crappy roles.

I also want Pinkie to be written better. She does great when she's in a starring or duo role, but other than that she always ends up looking dumb. Make her more competent, PLEASE. She's such a good character with loads of potential, and I hate to see her written poorly.

No, just no. This show is still has a female audience, and they shouldn't cease to make episodes that appeal to the girls just because guys don't like them. There should be a healthy balance of boyish and girlish styled episodes, imo. It should appeal to the general audience, not just bronies.

The main characters are all female, and there's nothing wrong with that. Taking away what makes them feminine is wrong, we should be able to embrace their girlyness and not treat it like a bad thing.

the fact that Hasbro sent out the Rainbow power pony merchandise before the season finale aired made me irritated. it left hardly any room to wonder or be remotely surprised. i wanted to get chills and awe once the box was opened...

Don't make any attempt to pander to shippers, stay away from that at all costs...at least when it comes to the mane 6 ffs.

Throw in one or two more serious, kinda darker plots aside from the season finale. I mean, don't go overboard, but still change of pace and all that.

''Rainbow Powers''! They were nothing more then over stereotyped versions of the Elements of Harmony. The elements atleast was a pleasant piece of jewelry that complimented the Mane 6. I am now going to have to pray that there no other reasons besides the Openers and Season final for them to have to use those powers, so that we can atleast have 22 out of 26 of the episodes feature the Mane 6 in their original designs.

I'm fine with "shipping" but it has to make sense. Celestia and Discord just don't mix in my head. I hope they either never touch it again or at least show that Discord HAS CHANGED. And if they do this, I hope they do it right, because they can kill Discord if he is not annoying ponies.

 

The Crystal Empire. I like it, but I like Canterlot more. And I'd like to see more pony cities. Not some human city slapped over the scenario like Manehattan.

 I originally couldn't think of anything though I am only half way through season 4. I just sat through "Twilight Time" which was the first episode that was an actual pain to watch...

 No more CMC episodes!

 Ok, you know what? I know from a marketing stand point that will never happen but how about less CMC episodes please!

Personally, I would like a little less focus on the Mane 6, Apple Family and Cutie Mark Crusaders and a bit more focus on the minor characters such as:

 

Zecora

Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon

Snips and Snails(I think they should adapt at being more like Power Ranger's Bulk and Skull)

Mr and Mrs Cake

Derpy Hooves

Spitfire and the Wonderbolts

Bulk Biceps

Lyra and Bonbon

Trixie

Flim and Flam

 

And even give Princess Celestia an episode for her to shine.

Pound and Pumpkin Cake are babies who's only purpose is to look cute and make baby noises. Baby ponies aren't cute to me and so I wouldn't want any more of them. Granted, they've not been seen too much since Baby Cakes. People seem to like them or babies in general enough that it wouldn't surprise me if they were featured prominently again at some point, but for me they just induce stress. Let's keep them to cameo appearances and the occasional mention where relevant.
