gaming Most Addicting Game You've Ever Played?

I've played MANY addicting games in my life.

Lots of them are mobile.

I have never gotten addicted to a console game though.

The most addicting game I've ever played is one the PC.

That game is none other than...

Played it for 18 hours straight... not very healthy. XD

If Minecraft were a girl I would kiss it... on the lips.

So I am obviously beyond the point of addiction.

More like obsessed.

What do you find as the most addicting game?

Quite a few.

Long term, I'd say TES series and the Beth's Fallouts, between playing and modding, I spent literally thousands of hours with those.

Short term, Civ V. That freaking game. Hmm, let's play Civ for a bit this evening * 15 hours later* Just one more turn.... *5 hours later* Just...one... more... t-t-turn! (also, never trust Ghandi)

And then of course, most of good MMORPGs have this addicting quality.

Generally speaking, every game I play is quite addicting if I'm in the mood for it.

But if we're talking about games I've played longer than I normally ever would then Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow is probably the most recent. I played that game like ten times through in a row simply because I could.

Then there's the Kingdom Hearts games where it seems like any time I play one I have to play the rest of the series as well but that hasn't happened for awhile.

I've sat down and played Borderlands 2 with a friend of mine for a solid 5-6 hours.

There was also a time I would spend my entire day playing TERA. So many missions...so many things to kill...

Warframe is pretty addictive.  So is Skyrim.  But you've already said it all, OP.  Nothing can top MC for addictiveness.  I was playing that to an unhealthy degree for awhile.

Just one more block... wait, what year is it?

Anything by Bethesda, those sadomasochistic bastards...

The first night with Fallout New Vegas, after a whole of playing, I wandered into Death Claw Quarry all slack-jaw like and was trapped on the roof of a tractor by the assload of Death Claws there. Trying to find a way to get out with only 22 pistol bullets and a grenade, I suddenly realized I was pretty tired. I looked outside and I realized: it was 8:00AM.

Minesweeper

I get bored real fast that pretty much every newly released game will have a hard time to keep me occupied, but somehow Minesweeper never have that problem :P

The Binding of Isaac. Randomly generated levels, decent amount of challenge, crap-ton of unlockables, good soundtrack, dark story and sense of humor. It's essentially a video game drug to me. I can't get enough, and when I think I'm finally done, I always come back for more.

Awwwww man, it's been a long time but I used to get so addicted to this game. I'd start playing it and wouldn't be done for six hours. I just couldn't stop playing it!

Can't seem to get as into it these days but them were the days!

Now for any brony who was born in the eighties you might remember Chip's Challenge from 1989, I first played it on an old Windows PC, I could spend hours on this game, it was filled with puzzles, mazes and monsters, and with limited time you had to solve each level, now I can play it again on the internet.

You should try playing http://mienfield.com/ then

It's basically a huuuuuuge mat of minesweepers filled with other people (mostly Chinese, for some reason), it's hella fun

LOL That seems highly dangerous. One screwup and the entire board probably gets wiped. That'd piss a lot of people off.

Nah, when you click on a bomb all you get is a score penalty, nothing important :P

I've been playing that one for a long while, and I get my kick from cleaning a whole minimap screen without any detonated bombs

I suppose I should have read the description. It would be really aggravating to have an entire map destroyed because one loser decided to click randomly.

Randomclickers are somewhat akin to a disease in that browser game. It's not unheard of that one guy teleported to your location and start clicking all over the place to ruin your score combos
