What Kind Of Dreams Do You Have?

Sometimes I still have nightmare about college. It will be the end of the semester and I have a final in a class that I never went to. Or sometimes I will just be lost in the city, trying to get to campus but never getting there. And I have been out of school for 5 years.

Also sometimes I dream a out water. Like I will be on a raft in a huge river, or swimming in a lake. What does it mean?

Strangely enough my dreams have been very similar.

I've been having  a lot of dreams talking to old friends having one on one conversations with them. My dreams have involved just being around others that I cared about a long time ago but no longer do I talk with them anymore. Some dreams have been about things involving just enjoying the company of someone else and some have been when I have been focusing a lot on my tulpa i am working on.

I guess I just not being around others for such a long time and hardly having any friends anymore my dreams have become a almost calm/ soothing place I can escape to and rest my mind. I have been more aware during my dreams too and remembering a lot more in detail as well. But they have mainly been about talking one on one with someone I once know or heck even a character I really like as well.

Dreams really are amazing they help me have a peace of mind when I have so much on my mind.

My dreams consist of being in wars with gore every time. Either explosion or getting shot. I remember running away from a panzer tank and running in a charge with other british troops from ww1 or Vietnam or older to Medieval times as a archer.

Weird shit

I've been having a lot of dreams lately, most of them are either what I was thinking about the day before or what I'm going to do the next day. I never dream in first person, always third person.

I often visit the same places over and over in my dreams. Not every single night, but they are generally recurring aspects of my dream life. They’re usually slight variations on actual real life places that my mind paints in a different way. One example is a highly stylized 1960s Las Vegas that I sometimes visit, where all the hotels and casinos are rearranged in different places than the actual ones in reality. I also have an alternate Disneyland and Walt Disney World I often go to; also very different than the real ones. I would love to explore lucid dreams but I've never had any real success with that.

I lucid dreams but can’t really control the setting only what I do in the setting. Very random dreams. Very vivid.

I usually forget what I dreamt about throughout the day tho.

That episode where Luna goes into the mane 6s’ dreams to stop the Tantabus.  Yeah my dreams tend to be kinda like what Pinkie’s was.  Jumps from scene to scene.  I’ll be dreaming about one thing, then I’ll suddenly start dreaming about something else.  Though they don’t change as constantly.

I have a handful of different types of dreams. Most of the time, they're average. Normal, every day life. Sometimes they're like that but things are just off in a way that's kinda unsettling. Other times, I have just plain weird fuckin' dreams. You know, the type that exist in reality but everything is bonkers and doesn't even come close to matching reality. And, lastly, lewd dreams. Oh yes, I have my share of fuck dreams. Sometimes it's fictional characters, other times... well... not so fictional.

Don't really have nightmares much anymore. I used to have them frequently before I started therapy...

Really weird and don’t make sense.

Also a lot of suffocation dreams. Which is either due to the mouth guard I have to wear or the sleep apnea.

- Dreams where one or both of my parents are mad at me for something

- Communicating with a friend I haven't seen in a while

- Being chased and hiding multiple times

- Something school or work related

- Something completely random with no purpose or meaning

- The kind of dream where whatever happens ends up being a symbol for something in the waking world

Aside from the occasional "sleep paralysis" I would say prophetic, metaphoric and visually intrinsic dreams. I have dreams about scenarios that seem somewhat surreal and what amount to be some kind of test or training or some type of symbolism of something or for something I'm supposed to understand better than I currently do. I've seen myself in many different lights and in different forms, I've met in detail with individuals that don't exist on this plane of reality but have their own personalities, quirks, and a stronger sense of individuality than most humans I've met on Earth. I like to dream but I don't always, sometimes just little scenarios that I will remember and think about an HR after I wake up but ultimately forget entirely. I don't get shit for sleep, I sleep as much in a week as some ppl do in a day or two, so when I do manage I don't like to be disturbed, but with that being said sometimes disturbances to your normal sleeping environment can impact the context and overall perception of your dream. I've dreamed of many fictional characters, I sometimes have dreams about ppl I wish I didn't, it's like I'm being trolled by the dream architect, probably, it's the only way they can show their faces in my life, seeing as I have readily and purposefully excluded them from my social life. I have many kinds of dreams, but I have always paired the art of "dreaming" to the old human quote about a picture being worth a thousand words, you just didn't understand, but there is always something to take away.

I used to have crazy dreams when I was a kid, but nowadays I don't remember my dreams much, and when I do, they are so dumb! For example, the last one I remember, I was grocery shopping. That's all that happened. Like, seriously?!
