    I used to play a lot of Halo on my Xbox and when I was creating a name my friend thought of some jokes. One of these names was A Tiny Squirrel. This appeared in chat as A Tiny Squirrel killed x. This was rather funny. Then when I was looking for a name for brony sites I decided to change it a bit and made it A Tiny Equine, literally meaning a pony.
