Don't feel that way! Creatives are the driving force behind all the shows you like, the books you read, the music you listen to! There are creative roles outside of entertainment too -- lots of them! Studio departments exist in most major companies, and where groups of creatives work together, there are also arts communities, full of visual artists, musicians, theatre, anything you can think of!
I started college going after a programming degree to make video games, because it's lucrative and I'm good at maths. Long story in between, but eventually I realized that I was going to wake up one day unfulfilled and wondering where my life had gone.
But, years later, I have a day job doing creative work I love for an awesome startup, and a blossoming career as a painter in the local gallery scene. It doesn't pay all the bills yet, but I am hoping that in time, and with photography and editing as freelance fallbacks, I can leave my company and work for myself. I know lots of people who do some balance of the two already, and we are all here to help and support each other.
tl;dr: Find your tribe and follow your heart.
