  1. Yeah, that could work. A game that plays like Episode or Telltale's games, where you make decisions and try to find out what works best for the situation. I'd love to see a mobile RPG as long it's not made by Gameloft. Gameloft is said to be a very greedy company. Imagine if Gameloft made Summoners War instead? You'll have to grind for mana crystals even more, and that will just make the game even more boring. The graphics for their next mobile game could be like this: A cartoon 3D 60fps similar to Summoners War. (very common in most Brave Frontier-like games Epic 3D graphics Now for the mobile developers: Alim: MLP: Brave Equestria Com2uS: Equestria's War: Harmony Arena What mobile developers would you like best to make a MLP game?
  2. We got so far the Gameloft game, the Equestria Girls doll-collecting game, the repetive and pay-to-continue Harmony Quest, and the Backflip game Puzzle Party. Seems like the Puzzle Party game is the most getting-into to play for it's target audience, and it's less pay-to-continue than the others, although the lategame is challenging. What would the next MLP mobile game be like? I want it to be a game that plays like Brave Frontier or Summoners War, where you summon units and train them from 1 star to 6 stars. You would use the powers of the Elements as to give special buffs similar to the Goddesses from Crusaders Quest. I would expect some challenges like something based off Trial of Ascension from Summoners War, or Karna Masta from Brave Frontier. Fun fact: I seem to be the first one to come up with an idea for a MLP game that plays like this mobile genre. Imagine what would MLP: Brave Equestria by Alim and Hasbro be like. There are 5 types of common mobile games I know so far: Candy Crush-like: Mobile puzzle game where you ascend up stages and you see your friends' positions in the game. We got Puzzle Party so far. Clash of Clans-like: A game where you build empires and try to wage war against other empires to compete who's the best empire. Puzzles and Dragons-like: Variant of the Candy Crush-like game except you have monsters on your side and you fight enemies using pieces. This is probably what Alim saw that invented Brave Frontier. Brave Frontier-like: A RPG game where you are summoners and you summon a squad of units and go on quests. My favorite genre so far. Hearthstone-like: A TCG that revolves around cards taking out the enemy, except you are the target, and when you derive the targets' health, you win. You use various cards like attack cards, support cards, etc. What would you want the next MLP mobile game be like? No, I'm not talking about home consoles, I'm talking about the mobile genre.
  3. They might make it for mobile, though, but these kind of ideas would work out. An mobile RPG that plays like Brave Frontier or Puzzles and Dragons (units have elements) or Chain Chronicle (units have weapon classes) A card collecting game like Hearthstone A game where you build empires and aim to compete against other empires A game that plays like Tap Titans (might not be quite as better but more replayable than Gameloft)
  4. I made it up. It's a mix between Harmony Quest and 1/2 Genie Hero. I wonder what a MLP that plays like Shantae would be like.
  5. My ideas so far: PlatinumGames: PmC Pony May Cry, Ponyonetta Bethesda: Elder Scrolls Equestria, Fallout Equestria Blizzard: World of Ponycraft WayForward: MLP: Harmony Hero
  6. Whoa, another MLP fan game. Looks like this one is going to take over being the best MLP fan game ever. I wonder what was the best MLP fan game before this.
  7. So far, here's my worst to best. Gameloft Hasbro's Equestria Girls (don't we have enough of those doll-collecting games already?) Budge Studios's Harmony Quest Backflip's Puzzle Party I expect a game that plays like Banjo-Kazooie. You know, that 3d adventure game where you collect puzzle pieces to finish stages? For Hasbro to make a good game, they have to focus on their target audience, and not too much on the brony fandom. We need to balance things for their demographics. There's Super Fluttershy Land, Dr. Discord, Pony Poki Panic, Equestriabound. That's all the ROM hacks I know, but let's get back on topic. Remember HoverAnimation. Let me tell you a true story. In March 2015, a project known as AnimationNinja was planned but gotten scrapped. Later in 2015, it was announced that GoAnimate would be removing all of the fan-favorite old themes. The author who had the idea of AnimationNinja, later found out that AnimationNinja was a Soundcloud project, thus the name HoverAnimation was created. In January 2016, the population of the Google+ community boomed, reaching around 100 - 200 members. Someone else, however reported the community that their goal was to recreate GoAnimate and make money off of it, and they found out. Two weeks later, there was a message saying the owner will be sued until he cancels the project, and thus HoverAnimation was completely forgotten... So, the moral of that story is. Not every company allows you to use their content, and remember: Don't make money off of it. If you try to recreate something and to make money off of it, it can be guaranteed that a cease-and-desist might happen. Don't even rip off someone else's work. I highly doubt Hasbro would ban almost all fanworks. If they did, bronies would aim to cooperate to make a replacement for My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Maybe the strategy for making MLP games is don't use their trademark name, or is that allowed?
  8. Let's think about a list of developers. I remember Webfoot. Webfoot was a developer that made two G3 MLP video games, a Tonka game, a Korra game. Yeah, copyright. Have you ever heard of HoverAnimation? It's about a Google+ community that had like hundreds of members until an mod secretly allowed the CEO of GoAnimate (copyright holders) to give a order post stating that they are infringing on their patent and copyrighted content. Platinum? Yeah, if Platinum were to make a MLP game, it will end up being played by bronies more than the target audience. Journalists would go like "Is Platinum trying to impress bronies?" Cause the game they might make would be a little girls version of DmC Devil May Cry or Bayonetta, cause ponies would have an awesomeness meter of their combat, and maybe their own Harmony Bursts. Guardians of Harmony, might get like a card tactical RPG. That would be cool. Remember the Puzzle Party game that hasn't been released? Somebody said that it's basically Candy Crush meets My Little Pony? What's next? MLP getting it's own RPG where you form a squad of 5 units, that evolve from 1 star to 6 star. That could be interesting. Asides, they need to find friendly developers, because if the developers had made some M-rated games you might expect them to slip references to those games which might confuse the audience but adults would know that. I wonder how many friendly developers are capable of making a MLP video game that can be easily made for the target audience.
  9. Hopefully the good MLP fans are making won't be ceased and desisted. I wonder how many other games asists Fighting is Magic got that. I hope they don't go like this: "Dear MLP: Avengers of Harmony Community. We are sorry to announce the owner of this community will soon be sued until he deletes this community and cancels the Avengers of Harmony project. If he does not meet this request, full action will be taken. This group and subsequently it's video game are infringing on not franchise, but our My Little Pony trademark. We would like to note a few things: Simply changing the look will not protect you, as you will be still be infringing on our franchise. Making a private community will not protect you, as we have requested Google+ to have access to them, which we now have. Changing the name will not protect you, as you will not only be infringing on our franchise but you will still be using our copyrighted content." I hope the new MLP fangames won't be ceased and desist. Not to mention bronies already made some good games. There's War of Harmony IV, an Elements of Harmony RPG, all sorts of games.
  10. If we want a good MLP video game, we need it to make sure it can appeal to the target audience as well. PlatinumGames? That would be unlikely. If it was made by Platinum, most of the replayability goes to beating the higher difficulties until there's no more difficulties left to play, and most of the time the higher difficulties are steep in skill level. Imagine this. You are now playing on the hardest difficulty (they might call it Celestia or Chaos or whatever), the enemies are fast, and you can't use Harmony TIme at all, which means if your not careful they can wreck you in 4 to 6 hits! I've seen ideas like this before, where PlatinumGames made MLP games, which is unlikely. Telltale, might be a good contender. Sure, they make point-and-click games, they make Minecraft Story Mode. A MLP game that plays like Minecraft Story Mode can be interesting. Maybe something like a puzzle-adventure or an adventure game might be nice, maybe it would be called Adventure of Harmony, or something like that.
  11. Welcome to MLP Forums, Morklin! I hope you have a great time here. /)
