  1. Thank you! So glad I wasn't the only one to notice this. Did you see their cutie marks?
  2. I like to make omelettes. The most commonly made one in my house is an omelette of onions, bell peppers, guanciale (bacon made from the pig's cheek), eggs, and cheese. If you like eggs though, give this a try: Line a bowl with plastic wrap and lightly brush the plastic with fat. I use a mix of duck fat & EV olive oil, but whatever you have is fine. Sprinkle with salt & pepper. Break an egg in the center of the plastic. Gather the rest of the plastic into a bundle with the egg in the center, leaving just a tiny bit of air inside, and tightly secure it with string or twine. Heat a pot of water until it simmers gently and cook the egg in it for 5-6 minutes. Make sure the egg doesn't touch the bottom of the pot. That could screw up the plastic. Take a chopstick and tie the other end of the string to it, leaving enough length so the egg comes to just about the center of the pot. The chopstick should rest level on the rim of the pot. Remove the bundle from the simmering water and let it sit for a minute. Then, carefully cut away the plastic. The result should be a delightfully-shaped poached egg.
  3. How about a "Road to..." episode? Like the movies Bob Hope and Bing Crosby used to make in the 40s? Only starring Twilight Sparkle and Trixie.
  4. 20 million Sirius-XM subscribers, the only relevant judge on America's Got Talent and y'all think nobody is listening? Project much, bronies? LOL
  5. I heard a bit on the show earlier this month where Ronnie the Limo Driver was turned into a pony and he met Twilight and Fluttershy! Ronnie would make a great pony, dude!
  6. I've been watching an old British sitcom called Spaced over the last couple of weeks and I feel like it does this in very much the same vain as MLP. The show isn't very plot-heavy though (no pun intended). It's more character-driven and the cast of the show has such remarkable chemistry that they really do seem like they are great friends. In particular, the episode called Epiphanies does this very well. I could totally imagine the Mane 6 going out to the club and having an absolute blast together.
  7. There actually is a place on Earth called Equestria somewhere in South Africa. I don't think any colorful, talking ponies live there.
  8. I'd like to see if there are other powers in the pony world that exceed Celestia & Luna's. If there are princesses, then shouldn't there also be queens and/or kings (that aren't evil)?
  9. I'm not sure anyone really 'hates' bronies. It's like anything else online. They're just talking shit because they know they can't be punched in the face over the Internet. There's a saying I heard once, not sure of its source. "Living with hate for others is like drinking poison and expecting them to die." I'm paraphrasing here, but you get the idea.
  10. I'm not that open. Only a couple of my friends are aware of my affinity for ponies. Nobody in my family is (I don't think). The only swag I have is 3 cups that a friend gave me from her little cousin's birthday party and a bunch of tiny G2 figures she fished out of a box in a storage locker. But I'm not really that open about anything.
  11. I don't like how precious bronies get when someone pokes fun at them. It's important to be able to laugh at yourself and, for me, the inability to do so suggests that you subconsciously believe you're doing something wrong by engaging with this fandom. You're not. Bronies are a-okay.
  12. I was unfortunately unable to attend Bronycon this year. Did anypony here happen to talk to a guy with a microphone calling himself "Wolfie?" He's a friend of mine and he said he was there to do stuff for a certain talk radio show on Sirius-XM.
  13. Howard sent his guy to a Steampunk convention last week and basically did to them what he did to bronies and all other facinating nerd subcultures. It was funny as hell. Stern rules!
  14. One thing I never figured out about the Crystal Empire, how high is the wall that separates it and the arctic wastes from the rest of Equestria?
  15. Do you see what happens, giant timberwolf? Do you see what happens when you WAKE THE DRAGON? Spike should have used his dragonfire. That would have been badass. Either way, that boss battle was too easy.
