• Physical Description

  Applejack is a bright red earth pony mare, she has bright lime eyes, with a white spot over the right one, she has white pinto markings spotting her body and she has a lime mane and tail with stripes of white.

  Her cutie mark is a half a green apple, she has lime markings on her legs and white hooves. She also has white eartip, she wears a brown cowboy hat, of which belonged to her father, Bright Mac. 

   

• Backstory

  Applejack lived on Sweet Apple Acres since she was a foal and her older brother Big Macintosh was a younger colt, and her sister Apple Bloom was a baby.

  She lived with her Granny Smith, her mother Pear Butter, and her father Bright Mac, as well as her siblings. 

  But one day, Bright and Pear went out to fetch supplies a few towns over, and they never came back, it turns out they got lost in the Everfree instead, and a grief stricken Granny Smith went out to find them, only finding Bright Mac's hat lying in the mud, her son and daughter-in-law nowhere to be found. 

  She broke the horrible news to Applejack and Big Mac, waiting to tell Apple Bloom when she was older, Granny Smith gave Applejack the hat of Bright Mac to honor his legacy. 

  Applejack vowed to take care of the farm in spirit of her father, and continued to work hard despite her parents being presumed dead.

  That's why she reacted how she did when the fruit bats took over her farm, fearing she'd lose what was left of her mother and father's legacy and history. 

  That's why to this day Applejack is always honest with her friends, and she tries to be fearless, but...it doesn't always stay that way, sometimes being vunerable can help a pony rather than hurt.

• Personality

  Applejack is a no nonsense, tough talking, hardworking Earth Pony who loves nothing more than putting a day's work and then admiring it from afar with a glass of iced apple juice and a delicious apple fritter. 

  She loves her friends more than anything, especially the knuckleheaded Rainbow Dash, even though they butt heads a lot, they care for each other. 

  If her friends are in danger, they can count on her to open a can of whoop-flank.
