  1. Princess Luna ^^ I'm just big on the "trying to be yourself, but wanting to fit in and be liked by everyone," feel when she was first introduced ^^ Then again, I haven't made it to the season 2 finale yet, so maybe Cadence!
  2. I thought Apple Bloom was more of a designer than a cronstructor? Like how she decorated the inside of their treehouse on that one episode? Anyways, her name is Apple BLOOM so I always figured that if it was something apple-related, it would have to do with planting/helping grow them. I do kind of hope she breaks away from tradition, though. And I love the idea of having a "sneak peek" of the future... except what if they were all teenage ponies and still didn't have their cutie marks? ._.
  3. I was thinking that to, but then I realized that they'd be the most boring couple to watch (unless Big Mac learned to speak and fluttershy developed amazing social graces) and they would be so awkward together. But then again, I'm going to say no on any couples for the show xP Rarity has her occasional obsession with pony-heirs, which is enough pony-romance for me xP Unless Cherilee and Big Mac got together. Again. I'd be perfectly okay with that xD
  4. "stereotypical ____ who _____" can be used in every argument about why each of them should/shouldn't be liked. Just think about it - they have the egocentric jock, the shy social anxiety girl, the hyperactive one, the teacher's pet, the one with the accent, and the perfectionist/snob. Each of them are stereotypical, so why should her being a "southern farmer" be the only argument against why she's not as liked? Take the Last Roundup for example- she actually ran away and got a job just to avoid admitting that she lost. Is that typical of all southerners? Is that a farmgirl thing? That's her own personal attribute and I do agree with her being more basic, but being a southernbell has nothing to do with it, or at least I don't believe it should. It's hard to like a character who just wants to be the "perfect pupil" and please her teacher, because I don't think a lot of us have that kind of figurehead to admire/respect to her extent xD But with her voice actress, I don't think she's totally ignored either.
  5. Well for that matter, don't they all have pretty basic "cookie cutter" personalities, but they're given dimension through personal episodes? Sure she can be less exciting than a Pinkie invasion, but why isn't she featured more and built off of? I find myself agreeing with her more than Rarity or RD, although they all have that mutual ecocentric personality. For that matter, wouldn't her stubborness make her the most individual of characters? I mean apart from asking for help and whatnot, she has VERY clear opinions on things and would be the least likely, in my opinion, to be persuaded to do something not typical of her. I was tied against RD and Fluttershy for a while, but I feel like AJ being less-appreciated has made me notice her more and made her my favorite. The belt buckle does sound awesome, though! You'll be able to match the RD with almost anything, but I do wish a kicking AJ was made
  6. This question's been bothering me for a while and excuse this if it's already been discussed, but why do you think Applejack gets less attention than the others? I've never seen a big craze for her, but I've also noticed that Target almost never has her merchandice (I was going to get my anti-brony friend a gag gift) and even the super target in my town only had the whole "Applejack family set", but nothing individual. So, what do you think?
  7. Junebug, of course! Heh, that's a nickname of mine so I was so excited when I heard Spike say her name xP Other than that Derpy and Apple Bloom ^^
