Mortimer

Hmmmmmmmm, spoilers? In page 65 we made an announcement about it. That's why we kept it in spoilers.

Mortimer paniced when he didn't see Desertrose swimming anywhere. He glided up in the air to try and localize her, but it was a failed attempt. He rembered seeing her for the last time in the waterfall, however she wasn't there. He started crying, he had lost his love, maybe she had been kidnapped. He started to get engulfed by a purple haze, then Shadow landed on his back, morfing with him into a monster. He let out a huge growl of anger.

Mortimer looked in awe, he had seen bigger waterfalls though. He grabbed her and mounted her on his back, then swimmed to were the waterfall collided with the lake. He then put Desertrose back on the water. "Whoah, beautiful, gorgeus and the waterfall isn't bad either" he whispered to Desertrose.

Yeah man, you stopped posting in the middle of the action. I guess i'll have to send Abyss to the party right now.

The 80's disco? Pfffff, the 70's disco's man, we gon' boogie aaaaaaallll night! You know who else is attending to da' party? The main boss of the counsel of health, my friend!

Abyss is normal, well i guess...right? Going to a disco with an afro, a disco sport-jacket and platform shoes is normal right?

Mortimer was enjoying the beautiful sun, laying on the surface of the water anf gazing into the sky uncovered by the annoying clouds when Desertrose calls after him. "What my dear? A portal maybe?" he joked before swimming to where Desertrose was. He approaches her and asked "What?".

Mortimer nodded, he agreed to take her back to that lake. He lifted her and mounted her back onto his back, Shadow jumped and hugged Desertrose to try to stay in the back at the high speeds. Mortimer slowly began to rise to the air, then very quickly glided to the location of the lake. He landed right next to the shore of the lake, it was beautiful. Shadow hopped down and just stared at the lake. Mortimer jumped into the lake. "Come honey, it's beautiful in here!" he said as he waved at her.

Dunno, but i surgered my horn back on, so problem solved, Abyss is off to party ina few hours, hahahahah, and i will leave a surprise to Dr. Stable.

"Well, sorry gentlemen. I got to depart to the skies, safety awaits this city" he said as he stretched his wings, kissed Desertrose and flew right to the sky. It was a beautiful, sunny day. It seemed that the weather patrol had done a very good job cleaning the annoying clouds from yesterday. Mortimer chanted an old spell that spawned three rings arouns him. He then teleported the three rings to random parts of the city. It was called the sentinel spell, the rings then were transformed into sword-wielding guards that defended the city, they could hear and see everything. Mortimer quickly landed next to Desertrose. "I know you wanted to spend the whole day with me, so i've enchanted some sentinels to protect the city. Where do you want to go?" he whispered.

Cracker dragged himself to a couch, making sure the leg didn't make any contact with the floor. He grabbed a blanket and cover himself with it. He was now warm. He slowly fade into sleep, it had been a long day and he almost lost his leg. He fell asleep and started dreaming about Kites, her saviour. He had to thank her in any way.

Mortimer grabbed her by the hoof and exited the house. Just as he was about to cross the street to Rocket's house, he could see Rocket in the distance. Mortimer approached with Desertrose to where he was and gave him a pat on the back, "Hey buddy, how are ya'? This is Desertrose, my mare-friend and Desertrose, he is Rocket Blast, a friend i met herw".

Mortimer swallowed his last pancake, a marvel. "I'll take the plate to the sink, i wouldn't be such a gentleman if i'd let you do it" he said as he wakedto the sink. He then approached Desertrose and whispered "Hey. Honey. Wanna' meet the new neighbours?". Mortimer made a gesture and Shadow flew onto his shoulder.

Cracker stood up, his leg hanging only by an inch of flesh and bone. He hugged Chocolate, he was really terrified about that experience. When he leaned back he couldn't help but falling on his flank to the floor. "D-don't worry Chocolate, it was i that decided to follow you on your quest, so i'm fully responsible also." he said almost crying in pain. He didn't want his friend to feel bad about it.

Cracker managed to wake up to sound of Kites voice, she made it! Along with Snowdream of course. He tried to stand up, but his bone started to break open, even more, he let out a scream of pain. He dragged himself next to Kites Breeze, and laid next to her, he kissed her cheek, she had done something crazy, just to save him. He layed next to her, shaking her, in hope she would wake up. "Hey, ma'am, come on! Don't die on me." he whispered.

"I'm okay ma'am, but Kites...she's feeling weak!" he said. He didn't know where he got so much strenght but he grabbed Kites and Snow and mounted them on his back, then he trotted back to the lobby. The wound was getting wide open, the bone could be seen, it was broken, the bandage was left on the snow. When he arrived to the lodge, he dropped the mares on floor, and with his last effort he yelled at Rocket "Rocket, ya' bastard, ya' better be sure that mah' bat is ok!" before passing out.

"WAAAAAAAIIIIT!" he said as Rocket Blast was getting away. "Take this, it's mah' favurit' bat, it's an alluminium bat, it won't break with anything, use it if you want!" he said as he handed Rocket the Baseball Bat. "Come on, let's go the resort" he whispered to Kites."

Cracker could see Kites and Rocket through the hole, however the pain was almost unbearable. He couldn't even lay on the ground, he was desperate, a pool of blood was forming beneath the leg, the flesh and bone already visible. "Heeeeeeelp me! he yelled, he was crying in pain.

"Babe, i have lived on this planet even more than your great-great-great grandfathers maybe. I can tell how a pony feels, i have seen every kind of personality through these years. You are worried about something, but it's ok if you don't want to tell me, i won't make you." he said smiling, he then continued to eat those delicious pancakes.

Cracker saw Kites falling down a hole and dragged to it. Suddenly he fell down the hole and slammed into the floor, unfortunately on his broken leg, which was now almost split in half, one could see the bone. He screamed in pain and saw Kites, he tried to stand up and with the last ditch of strenght he had, he tossed Kites out of the hole, "Search for heeeeeeelp!" he screamed to her as she flew out of hole, hoping she would have heard him.

"Hmmmmm, damn Desertrose! This is delicious!" he said as he tasted those delicious pancakes, if he could bake like that, he would weigh well over...well, let's just say overweight. He glanced at Desertrose and saw she was maybe worried about something. "Hey dear, what's the matter? I anything wrong?" he asked worried.

Cracker couldn't take the pain anymore, but he wasn't going to let his fellow mates go alone in the snow, so he kept on walking, he was dying in pain inside. Suddenly, he ran into Kites...into KITES? "H-h-hiya K-k-Kites! W-w-w-what are ya' doin' h-h-here?" Cracker asked, he couldn't talk properly, not only his leg hurt like no tomorrow, but it was cold as buck. "N-N-NO! Fuget' the hoof! I-I-I Gotta help mah' fellow mates!". He then kissed her. "Th-that was incase i-i-i don't r-r-return." he said as he dragged himself past Kites.
