There is a lot of hype going around with Season 5 starting and Starlight and Twilight's hair and what not. But why don't we all take step back, take a deep breath, and think about how ALOE HAS THE MOST ADORABLE VOICE IN THE WORLD!!! Oh my gosh, it's so adorable, I just wanna cuddle with her, she's just so cute!!! What do you people think? Would you order massages from that precious voice?

This is more of a "what if" situation. So, if, for some reason, you couldn't go to the convention, but had already purchased a ticket, is it possible to get the ticket refunded? I know it can be downgraded, as said in a previous topic, but if you figured out beforehand that you couldn't go, would there be any way of getting it refunded at all?

Our theatre had technical difficulties...TWICE! Still absolutely worth it!!! I personally liked the first EQ movie, but this was amazing! Rainbow Rocks has officially made up for ay concerns the EQ universe had. Everything else shall be spoilers, so for those that have seen it, go ahead and keep reading. If you haven't seen it yet, GO WATCH IT!!! Then keep reading. Trust me, it's worth it.

There are plenty of things you can do, such as:

• Discuss stuff
  • Episodes, music, fandom stuff
  • Maybe play some games like trivia or charades using your knowledge of the show
• Find a good cause and have a fundraiser
  • It will make your club look good and will get the word out to potential recruits
  • You can sell donuts or other snacks, or just ask for donations to a good cause
  • Donate funds to a local charity or give it to Bronies For Good.
  • Take some pictures of your work. If you donate a large enough amount, you may be able to get some publicity on Equestria Daily.
• Do some crafting
  • Buy some pony figures, some paint, clay, etc. and make some custom ponies
• Plan some outings
  • Go to a local park, restaurant, etc.
  • Try LARPing (Live Action Role Play)
• Have CCG (Collectable Card Game) tournaments
  • Have prizes for the winners
• Have a cosplay contest
  • Obviously you don't want to or can't walk around school in cosplay, but you can bring an outfit and put it on in the clubroom

 

That's all I can think of off the top of my head. Whatever you do, if you do anything in public, PLEASE be courteous to other people. I'm just saying that because I've seen too many videos of groups of bronies being obnoxious in public and no one likes obnoxious bronies. I think most of all, if you do some kind of fundraiser or public service it can make your club look good and inviting to others. Anyway, my school doesn't have any clubs, let alone a brony club, so I wish you the best of luck with yours.

Those are all very great ideas! I don't know whether we would go so far as to do a cosplay contest, but all great ideas nonetheless. I have actually been thinking of doing some sort of charity thing for a while, I've just needed to decide on how to do it.

Perhaps you could have an art contest, or a MLP video game (perhaps you could play Fighting is Magic?) tournament.

I actually put a little thought into this one and it would work as an outside-of-school thing. I really like this one.

I also had the idea of trying to go to a convention, specifically BABScon, since that is the closest one to us. I've also wanted to get in touch with a nearby brony group to arrange some stuff as well.

Hello, everypony! So I'm the president of my school's brony club and I am looking for new ideas for what to do this year other than just watching ponies. Any ideas for what I can do?

I can think of four possibilities as to what will happen with this.

           1) They will just say that 30 moons have passed.

           2) Something happened that made the portal open early.

           3) There is another portal between worlds.

           4) There is a second Twillight in the human world who actually originated in the human world.

Just my headcannons. Can't wait to see it!!

Backstory: He has kind, loving parents who care for him and accept his choices. He started playing saxophone at a very early age, and was able to play his first note before anyone in his class. He got his cutie mark when he performed his first hoof-written piece. he now writes and arranges pieces for saxophone, goes on tours every once in a while, but spends more time performing more local gigs than anything else. She also performs with other groups, such as concert bands, jazz bands, and even just saxophone groups. 

Fighting Style: Uses saxophone as a physical weapon as well as uses music as special attacks. 

Music Theme: Run or Fight. Wrote it myself. It's a saxophone quartet, so I thought it would be fitting.

Stage: Concert hall

Species: Pegasus

Character Traits: Has a trusting heart, but knows when he needs to fight. His saxophone is made of vibranium (same metal used on Captain America's shield) so that it is light and easy to use as a weapon without breaking. He is agile and quick on his hooves.

Dialog: He could play a few short bits on saxophone, I can make up something later. Or if you just want lines instead (or both):

"No words, just music." "My saxophone leads my heart." "If you don't suck reed, you suck." (last one is optional)
