This was a first time sketch for a first time drawer, of course it's going to have all of those problems. That's why it's stated that it was done in 2 minutes. Thank you.

My comment wasn't actually directed at you, by the way. it was more of a general response. I just quoted that sentence because there's a fair bit of discussion happening and I wanted to go back and answer that specific question. 

I figured darling! But thanks for clarifying either way! I like that a simple question sparked a whole debate, and I'm sure I wasn't the first to start it hahaha! But I do like it!

 

But guys wouldn't start using pegasister, because the term is clearly gender specific. Why should brother not be treated as gender specific when it really is?

 

Gamer isn't gender specific. Brother is, so when people call themselves 'gamer girls', they don't need to as the term isn't gender specific, but when females call themselves female bronies it sounds like a contradiction.

But the same would go for men who call girls "guys" in the general sense or "dude" and that can still apply to girls. But I do agree that a guy or a girl would not call a guy a "sister", "gal" or pegasister. I agree that Pegasister was made up after the fact but really didn't catch on seeing as "brony", for guys and girls, was 20% cooler lol

 

Yeah, I can't take these kind of labels seriously enough to even try and care. I have noticed this topic cropping up a lot recently in the fandom, and I find it kind of ironic that Bronies of all people are becoming fixated with gender specifics.

Even I, the pony who started this debate, did not intend for it to be like this but it was just a question that I wanted a sure answer to so I didn't go around calling the wrong ppl brony, sounding like an idiot. But now I see that it doesn't matter so I thank EVERYPONY for answering this and posting his or her thought or opinion. That's what these forums are for, posting your opinion because I asked for ti thanks! Much love!

This has already been discussed and the consensus is that, while pegasister is a strictly female term, brony can apply to either gender. The bro part of brony is actually a reference to the fandom's early days on 4chan, so it isn't inherently gender specific.

I do apologize for beating a dead horse, for lack of a better term, but I had not seen this discussion before. Thanks for replying though!

Is the term "Brony" officially used to describe only guys who are fans of the MLP world? Or are girls widely referred to as bronies s well?

I've been reading a lot of mixed articles on this. Girls are called Pegasisters, or so I've read, but I have read some girls refer to themselves as bronies because they either don't like pegasister or they call themselves bronettes.

What is your thought on this? Is brony only for the bro's? (As obvious as that sounds, humor me) Or is it generally accepted in the MLP community that everyone is a brony?

I think my favorite thing about MLP is that there is a moral at the end of every episode and it's clearly stated. I love that they are geared towards anything in life; friendship, self improvement, common courtesy and a plethora of others I'm sure but I'm only on the beginning of season two.

What do you love about MLP that made you want to watch it more, buy it's merch, join a forum around it possibly attend BronyCon and create an OC, if you have one, resulting in you turning into a brony!

I actually like the winged one the best because she has tattoos in that one... and she looks good with tattoos, heh heh. The East Carolina one is interesting. Your school colors I take it? I should do a pic of my OC in my university hoodie, heh heh. The Gaga one did make me giggle and the evening gown looks eloquent if somewhat conservative. Good stuff, and your OC is very cute.

Progress! I tried to fix the fore leg region that Nightfall mentioned and the alignment issue near the hind leg, I still need to work on the roundness to the back of the rear leg. Also made some very noticeable changes hope you like! This is just an update, this work is still a W.I.P. thanks!

Here is the almost finished product of Asscher Emerald! I am keeping the blockiness of his body because I like it as it portrays his fatherliness as well as his once ruthless business self when he was younger. The only thing that is hold me up from finishing it is of course his cutie mark. I am working really hard to perfect it before I put it on his flank. Next OC will be Sapphire's mother Marquise Ruby! Stay tuned!

Finishes with both Asscher Emerald and Marquise Ruby! Just missing their cutie marks, they're giving me some trouble. Lol.

Aww the divine Rarity, my second pony crush. Good drawing, definetly try using a mechanical pencil next time though, a pen isn't the best illustration tool (mechancial pencils are best IMO though others may say otherwise). Cute pic, and keep up the good work.

Oh who is your first pony crush lol yea I would have but I literally had just moved from another state and didn't know where anything was except this one pen. And when inspiration hits, you just go with it my friend lol

Body looks a bit too bulky,or the head is too small. The legs are also a bit to curvy, I would suggest giving it two parts or making it a bit straighter.

Two parts? I don't know what you mean. I copied this from hubworld and this body design was very bulky and I chose it because it is her father. I will admit it might be a bit bootylicious hahahaa

That was a really good episode. It really had all of the Mane 6 learn about each other, and being able to use their elements to defeat Luna.

I literally was thinking about that episode and how they became best friends just by coming together to defeat Nightmare Moon, while humming the song and it just came together haha! hope you giggled!

Omg everypony! Thank you so much for your kind feedback and your constructive criticism on my first work! Here's a little secret i forgot to mention, it was all done in pen! I picked it up when my fiance came home and telling my house guests about his day at work! Thank you so much!
