  1. Well, since My Little Pony originally began as toys, and Hasbro was struggling to make the show better, I can agree that the show was pretty bad, but the toys were actually decent and fun. G3 was like a light, insanely sugary skim of MLP and its so bright and the characters are so unrealistic and dull its kinda sickening. Im glad that G3 is now a mere memory in terms of its TV show.

Otherwise, everything else was great. G1 was pretty good, and G2 was decent.

  2. Unfortunately, this stuff is pretty much everywhere. Its kinda hard to shake off, too. Thats why people eventually kinda get use to it and build something like mental protective layers.

If you really are sick of the cloppers(some are decent and good people. Others, not so much) you should try safesearch or use a kind of web filter and block all the "inappropriate" sites of your choice (rule34, etc.)

Otherwise, you could try to avoid the content altogether by avoiding the words "shipping" and "clopping" in your pony searches.

    Happy Searching!

  3. I have also heard another theory from other sources [(http://www.equestriadaily.com/2013/02/regarding-fighting-is-magic-takedown.html) that Hasbro doesn't like the idea of a game where the fim characters are "fighting", probably due to the cause that the target demographic for this show is mostly 7-10 yr old girls or something.

I believe that Hasbro decided to let the game go until it became more publicly known at the EVO fighting game convention.

Otherwise, Hasbro really is kinda greedy. Hasbro is kinda leeching off of us bronies for their own gain.

  4. I have noticed on the little footer of the web site that we only have 3 main themes, the regular theme, the IPS theme, and the mobile theme (not really a theme though).

I'd like to ask if there are going to possible be any pony-oriented themes (Rarity, Pinkie Pie, etc.) that might make the site richer and more customizable.

  5. Its quirky, but not weird. I think I've liked a few fictional characters occasionally.

Now, if you go over the top (the gross stuff  ) then that would be qualified as weird.

    Otherwise, its fine!

  6. Thanks for the suggestion!

I think I'll make more OC's before entering them in the Character Database, I still need to work on some quirks in my art.

  7. My Favourite Mane 6 Pony

How did you find MLP Forums?

How you became a fan of My Little Pony

I'm RIPRIPRIP, and I have actually recently joined the herd!

3 months ago, I didn't have the faintest idea why a grown male would sit down and watch My Little Pony.

Then, out of curiosity, I watched an episode of MLP and was hooked.

I've converted 2 of my friends to the awesomeness of bronyhood and decided to join this forum.

My favorite pony has to be... Twilight (lol) but I have a tough time choosing between Fluttershy or Rarity as my 2nd favorite (not that I don't love Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie).

    love and tolerance,

  8. The worst enemy of the bronies is the thing that the bronies choose to perceive as their worst enemy. There are a lot of people out there who disagree with us, who will hate us, harass us and even assault us. But picking something as our "worst enemy" is, in my opinion, a direction we don't want to take this fandom in. It's not what it is about.

You have a good point there.

There's many people to point fingers at, like the greed of Hasbro and the occasional zealous streak from conservatives (no offense to anypony).

However, this makes me remember something JFK said once in his inaugural speech

"The only thing to fear is fear itself"

Edit: Whoops, already said by the pony above me.

    lol

  9. You're completely right, and I also have a non-brony best friend.

Thought they don't like the MLP Fandom, there's no reason to force it upon them. Non-bronies are people too  :)

I'd hate it if we were viewed lowly. We're just here because we like this show, and want to discuss it further.

No need for people to lash back on the haters either, they have rights as well (though what they do with their rights is the problem in the first place).
