Before I write this I want everypony to know that I like Trixie and she's awesome!! This one scene has bothered me so much, proably more than any other time in the MLP epsiodes. How did Trixie "Beat" Twlight's friends? Rainbow Dash showed off her amazing feats of furious fastness, and some how Trixie is better at it than her by spinning her around? The same for Applejack. Only Rareity did she actually show up.

You really can tell what I'm going to say by my profile name. Yes, most people have already noticed this before, but Twlight's racing number, in the episode, is 42. Which to people who have not read or watched, the movie was a bad representation of the book, The Hitchhikers Guide to The Galaxy, in this they build this huge machine, yada yada, they ask it what the meaning of life is, and finally it replies 42. So the creators either just threw that one in there to see us scramble, or it actually meant something. In that episode, Twlight was the one who knew what do, and gave advice to them. In the whole series, she is the main charater and the glue of the friendship. Anyone have an idea behind this? Sorry if anypony was confused, my profile name when I posted that was TwlightSparkle=Fourty2. Just wanted to write that so everypony would know.

When I first watched this, there were a few things things bothered me. For one thing, I don't understand why they all instantly become friends. Twlight met them once, really quickly, and that was it. Suddenly, they are all willingly about to go into the Everfree Forest together. Another thing was, as most ponies got annoyed at too, was the fact that the 6th element was magic. Twlight was building up, telling Nightmare Moon off, and she says "That ignites the 6th element... Magic!" Even though for the sciensy look at this, Friendship would come as a result of honesty, kindess, generosity, ect,ec. But I do agree with the fact that in the long run of the show it would be easier to Twlight's element magic.

Thank god there's a new one!!!! And that is really interesting, Mandel. I had no idea it was that complex... I wonder if the creators really saw that and purposely did that, or the ponies are just that awesome.

I feel like Twlight Spakle's personality is written for me, or based off me or something. But I'm gonna have to say my favorite pony is Zerocra, or Pinkie Pie. Zercora, even though an outcast of ponyville, should be the elment of forgiving. Plus, she's really good at rhyming. In The Cutie Pox episode, Zecora sees Apple Bloom and asks her "What has happened to you, youth?" she sees that she lost her tooth and says "Ah, you've gone and chipped your tooth" How did she know that was going to rhyme??? SHE MUST BE ALL KNOWING!! Pinkie Pie for obvious reasons.

I thought this was annoying, because when they have that race at Ghastly Gourd, the Eagel gets stuck, and she doesn't help it, even though it could have injured it's wing so bad, it could fall into the brambles, therefore killing it, or maybe just some serious injury. She gets stuck, and no one helps her, yet she still is a little passive aggressive to the pets at the end saying how the turtle was the only one who helped save her and such.

I do agree with your theory, and have come to see one of my own, although not as well thought out. Does anypony see the pattern trends around the 6 elements? 2 ponies, 2 pegasis, and 2 unicorns. Same for the Cutie Mark Crusaders. What i've noticed isn't that though, its this: Rainbow dash, the brave daredevil is the exact oppsent of timid Fluttershy. Rareity, the proper lady is the exact opposent of Applejack, the work horse. And finally, smart and organized Twlight is the exact opposent of crazy and werid Pinky Pie.

I don't miss it at all. I was embarrassed of being one, and it was hard to keep in. Eventually, after a while, I started telling my friends, even though they still shame me for it, I don't care anymore.

I proably shouldn't be posting this, since I haven't even watched this episode, but from everypony's comment it sounds like Spike is in another episode? I think this one should be around Twlight, since she is the main charater but almost never gets an episode.
