  1.

Is this okay, tell me if you want any changes, the picture you had looked a bit like rainbow so I copied her hair but changed it so it was longer, tell me what you think

I love it! :D It's perfect. Thank you so so so much! I'm hopeless when it comes to drawing ponies.

And you have a good eye, her hair is modeled after Rainbow's.

  2. The Land Before Time movies made up about a third of all the movies I owned as a kid. I loved those moves to death! I didn't own the first one (though I had seen it) until this past summer. Due for a rewatch, I think.

  3. My brother and I both have bad knees. My brother's kneecap gets dislocated. Mine is... something along those lines. Feels like the top is pulling one way and the bottom pulls the other. Kind of like the knee does a 180 and then snaps back into place. That kind of feeling. It's hard to explain, most people would probably call it a bad sprain.

Anyway, it's been an issue for years. My knees sort of go out randomly, where I'll be walking walking la la la and then BAM, down on the ground. The first time it happened I was in fifth grade. It happened again and again about twice a year, to this date, but only in my left knee. It's thankfully come to a point where it doesn't really hurt much anymore and I can walk it off.

Last summer I came home from work and went to change because my grandparents were over for dinner. I rounded a corner, going into my kitchen, and my right knee went out. I don't know what it felt like the first time my left one went out -- it was too long ago -- but this was the first time my right knee went out and DAMN did that hurt. I sat on the ground crying and cursing in front of my dear old grandparents. I couldn't walk the rest of that day or the next and had to use a cane to hobble around.

    TL;DR: Chronic knee problems.

  4. It doesn't really make sense to me personally for Twilight to change back. Her transformation/coronation is a huge thing, and it gives the writers lots of material for writing new episodes. My feeling is if she changed back, sacrificing her wings or her title or what have you, the show would be right back where it was and soon it would get stuck. There's only so much that can happen to the Mane 6 in Ponyville. Better to give the writers something new to keep the show fresh than to have it grow stale working with the same old storyline.

I think so long as the writers don't let Twilicorn overwhelm the series, we'll have more great episodes, same as always. And that'll be a heck of a lot easier with a whole new side of Twilight's character to explore.

  5. The deep cold salty wide open expanse of water called the ocean ocean terrrrrifies me. My parents went on cruises which they really liked, but for me personally I'd rather do my travelling over land than the sea. I don't mind water but remembering how deep it gets would send me into a panic. So no, not for me.

  6. I don't mind the whole Alicorn Twilight thing, but man can I just say My Little Pony toys were SO much better in G1/G2? Of course, I prefer a good show with bad toys to a not-as-good show with good ones but MAN.

75% of the fan-made ones I've seen are more impressive imo

  7. I think there's no doubting that this episode was kind of rushed, and would have been better as a two-parter. But given the episode length they were working with and the massive ambitious project they took on with this episode, I think it was pretty good.

All the songs were excellent, there wasn't a single one that made me sigh and shake my head. They were beautiful. As a person who's had a falling out with anything musical-related, saying that this one didn't rub me the wrong way is something significant.

I wish season 4 could have opened with the coronation, so that this episode could have taken more time with the destiny-swapping plot. Ideally for me this episode would have ended with Twilicorn, and had that as its cliffhanger.

However, I don't think they could have downplayed any aspect of this episode. Making a big deal about the princess coronation really put me in the right mindset for an over-the-top, cheerful musical episode. Without all those expectations going in, I think it would have been kind of a weird episode.

Choking on liquid pride for little our Twiley.

TL;DR: Too fast, yes, but still great. 7.5/10 for me.

  8. I recently really liked Amon from Legend of Korra up until the last few episodes (which were dumb and basically destroyed everything I liked about his character).

    Amon_and_his_Equalists.png

(His character design is just to die for though)

In terms of villains I've liked for a while though, Magneto of X-Men and Captain Barbossa of Pirates of the Caribbean are two of my faves.

  9. Uaaaaaaaah Gravity Falls. I started watching because of the theme song and kept with it because DIPPER. Pretty great show, though. It doesn't fall back on "kid humor" like lots of other DC shows seem to, and I think that's why it's such a standout.

  10. PC PC all the wayyyy~

Despite using Macs at school since I was in second grade PCs are way more intuitive for me. Besides that there's easily a twenty times larger market when you're shopping for one whereas Mac you're kind of stuck with whatever Apple is offering at the moment.

I also disagree with Macs being more "professional" or "creative". Virtually every professional workplace I have visited or been employed at has used the Windows operating system over Mac. Furthermore creative capability depends more on the program being used/the person using it than the operating system imo.

Really in the end though it comes down to whatever shortcut keys you're more comfortable with and whatever aesthetics you find more appealing. I find the "dock" in Macs cluttering and the system hard to navigate. What's more I could never by a laptop without a "delete" (not backspace, delete -- it deletes the forward, rather than backward, letter) key.

TL;DR: PCs, reputations are dumb, Apple is limiting, it totally doesn't matter anyway

  11. I personally would make the hair a little brighter and a little more green to tie together the eyes and the cutie mark. The darker brownish colors are making it look a little bit mucky.

Aside from that, your design and colors are really fantastic!  :D

  12. The first second I saw this all I could think was "I bet Twilight is going to be an awful flyer. Can't wait to see that." And at this point that is pretty much my feelings about it.

I'm just glad that she keeps her pony proportions in the transformation, rather than getting the full-blown Alicorn proportions Celestia (and to a lesser extent Luna) have. Twilight's just so much more adorable as a short little pony. I can't see her as majestic at all, and I think that's why I'm having fun toying with this idea.

Ultimately I'd still prefer her as a unicorn but hey, it's not the end of the world.

  13. Ginger ale is just about the only soda I can pick up and drink any time. With other things like root beer and orange soda I really just need to be in the mood for it :/

Wait I take that back. Black cherry cream soda is magical. That, too, can be consumed any time.

  14. It's not showing the arrows. There are arrows in the "invite" section, but none in the "friends" section because there aren't enough people showing to warrant two or more pages.

I've got six people showing (enough to fill up a page) but no arrows at the bottom either. I've just made a habit of hitting the "gift all" button and hoping I'm sending things to more than the people on the page... if anyone hasn't received any gems from me, I'm sorry, I'm trying  :(

  15. Yeah.. I've got nothing. Except the default Celestia one where she gives you nothing back, like ever. So... maybe I should add the recent list here.

Sometimes you need to hit refresh or restart the game for people to show up. If you have the person listed as a friend on Gameloft, they'll show up eventually.

  16. hkr148 on Gameloft live. I'm not sure if it would better to add the listed people on the first page because the list seems to be outdated. But adding me would be much appreciated. How does the gift system works?

If you go under "social" in the menu, it'll show your friends. You just click them and then select the present to send them a heart gem. You can also visit their town and drop a treasure chest to give them another heart gem. Each of your friends can do this for you as well.

  17. Hey there everypony!

I'm Astrosheep, you can call me Astro for short (or anything else, really). I've been a MLP fan since I was a kid back in the 90s. Naturally now I have fallen hard and fast for Friendship is Magic. I have no regrets.

Looking forward to meeting all you fine folks!

Edit: I'm on GameLoft Live by the name Astrosheep as well. My icon is an OC, Stormy Seas ("Stormy").
