    "Are we done? Good." Hex strode back and forth in front of her students, looking them over. "My name is Hex. For now you call me "Teacher". This is one of the hardest classes here and very soon you will see why. I'm the one who trained The Wonderbolts...and I was the reason Rainbow Dash quit this school" she stopped and sighed "I warn you now that this will be difficult, I don't cut anypony slack." She made sure everyone was wearing thier weights properly. "The rest of the class you can socialize BUT!!! For the rest of the period you must hover no less than 3 feet off the ground continuosly. If you even touch the floor you will get bad marks understand? Questions?"

    She stared down hard at Splinter. "When I'm done with you, you're going to wish you had been born an Earth Pony...but you will be one of the best damn flyers in Cloudsdale." she turned away from him, watching the other students pull on thier weights in protest.

    "Thanks" he said. Over the noise of the tavern crowd Firewhip drank and got to know his boss better. By the minute he felt more compelled that the pirate life was his calling. For many years he had felt empty even though he had more than his fair share of stories to tell. Stories of encountering strange beasts in Everfree, hunting down a pack of Timberwolves and slaying a Manticore. Yet he needed something more. Maybe this was it. Feeling just a bit tipsy Firewhip leaned over to Rambler and asked "So...these fair mares...where might they be?"

    Hex dragged out an obviously heavy bag. "I am your teacher Hex. This is Flying class. To start off, I don't believe any of you can fly no matter how good you are" she emptied the bag and weights fell out. She sorted them for each pony. The weights were designed to go around the body and a set of smaller ones for the legs. "Each of you put these on. Time for endurance..." she said and glanced at Splinter.

    "Oh..." she walked forward carefully forward. Sniffing the fresh air and scent of flowers calmed her some, reminding her of her homeland. Taking note of the minature pony, Whisper strode over. "Well hello! Excuse me little pony but do you know where we are?" she smiled.

    "Aye" Firewhip raised his mug in appreciation. "So...Captain Rambler? Do you have a particular goal in mind or do you just sail around pillaging? My sister and I well...we came from a travelling gypsy caravan. She's never seen the world like this." he had a slight worried tone " I, on the other hoof, love this life. Adventure and suspense...flying ships and battles! Maybe one day once I take on a few years of expierience, I can captain my own ship."

    Hex studied them. "Names?" Without waiting for an answer, she turned to rummage through a pile of equipment she had. Her ears were alert though, waiting for thier names.Objects clunked together as she searched. Her wings kept tucked tightly at her sides.

    Thank you. Oh well I don't really want this to be a competion like no rating or stuff. I figured if I started this one I'd be more up to date on things rather then spending hours looking through another thread. But then again that's just me.

    Hiya, I'm always interested in new music but I'm always so picky. There must be a dozen music sharing threads out there but I'd like to make one a little bit more personal to me. I'm not saying give me your music rather expose me to your music. Let me start off with something I like:

    I think they live amongst us already as hybrids or in disguise. Nuclear weapons? They wouldn't do anything against an invading alien race. If they can get to us way easier then we to them don't you think they would be way more advanced?

    Well uh I personally believe the human race was crafted by the Annunaki (which I believe to be an ancient alien race) and they left us here. When they come back I don't think they will be pleased with what we have done to our homeplanet, wipe us out and start over.

    Firedancer retreated quickly as the stallion approached her "You better have coin in your purse or I'm going to teach you a lesson you won't forget soon" he growled. She sneered and reached for her hoopblade then stopped "I left it on the ship..."she thought. "Now now...a gentlecolt such as yourself wouldn't harm a pretty filly like me...right?" she backed up, her eyes darting around for an easy escape. Passerbys paid them no attention as they were used to scenes like these unfolding in Trotuga. So doing the only thing she could think of, Firedancer bucked the stall next to her over, spilling the wares between her and the stallion. Taking his momentary surprise as an opening, she turned and galloped away, knocking ponies over and leaving angry colts and mares in her wake. "Get back here!!!" he yelled.

    Anyone here in Washington or Seattle area know where I can get some Takoyaki? I moved here from New York and I miss the pizza and takoyaki. Help please???

    Well since everyone else is contributing...I really like this song: I love her songs. Especially this one. It definately tells a sad story.

    "Nothin' much Captain" Firewhip took a swig of his mead. "Those two uglies just had a bout but nuthin' impressive" he said pointing to a stocky grey colt in a black bandana and eyepatch. Next to him was a skinnier orange stallion with a grey goatee and a cutlass swinging at his side. They both eminated sour attitude and smell. "When did the mares here become so unbecoming?" Firewhip spoke into his mug eyeing a portly barmare. Firedancer had only been there a short while and found herself in trouble. Most unfortunate for her a stallion she had screwed over in Mustangia had been visiting friends in Trotuga. "You! You wench!" he had called from acroos the street, causing ponies to turn thier heads "Your the evil harlot who stole my gold pocketwatch!". She stopped what she was doing and looked up in surprise.

    She was startled and hopped back a bit. Whispers ears swiveled as she took in the door. Seeing as there was no other place but to go through the door, she took small steps forward and nudged the door open with her hoof. "Hello...?" she asked with some fright.

    Hex quietly strode in, keeping her eyes locked in front of her. Arriving in front of them, she looked over all the students, her face stoic. She kept her wings folded tightly against her flank. "Is this all?" her voice was as strong as her gaze. Hex stared at them expectantly.

    I definately think Cas should be the captain of his own ship. Then he would have Serian, Goldseek and Steampunk Ninja. That would round out no? I think it'd be the perfect crew all scary and omunous and what-not.

    Firewhip whooped with glee. "I definately shall be joining you Captain! Let's see who can hold thier drink!" he bucked up and galloped off the ship, dissapearing down the road. Firedancer seemed somewhat nervous as she stepped off, putting her pay into a pouch she kept hidden underneath her skirt. She wasn't exactly sure where to start but she saw a line of stalls she took to be stores. Off she went to go browse their wares.

    Hex stared out the window, watching the newcomers fly-and some flop- into the school. She let out a deep breath and prepared herself for a new semester. Hopefully, one of these ponies would make her proud to call her student this time around. "Here we go" she sighed.

    Firewhip chuckled "What an interesting mare...". He made way towards the Captain, stepping over ropes and breathing in the fresh air. This had been a big step for him and Firedancer, upgrading from caravan to air ships. They had talked it over the night before they boarded the ship and had both agreed that the bounty would be much more. Plus, they could travel to places they never could have before. He was concerned for his sister. Firewhip studied her from a distance. Firedancer had an easy heart and was just as quick to get her heart broken as she was breaking them, it was one thing being surrounded by your family and another being surrounded by rugged pirates. "Ay Captain, what are your orders?" he raised his voice.
