5/10 Gonna remain neutral on this one.

We've got the biggest balls of them all. 8/10 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8vqGzUlyqE

WTF/10 Um, you know, I like MLP music, but... Littlest Pet Shop? No. Time for some Deep Purple.

5/10 They should probably haven't lasted pasted the 90's.

Most annoying/common grammar mistakes
Up From The Ashes replied to Kodiak's topic in General Discussion
The Americanization spelling of the words with "o" instead of "ou". Colour for example, should be spelled as such. Not to mention "er" instead of "re" like Fibre. This one is also really annoying, the letter Z (pronounced Zed) being pronounced like Zee. -
3/10 What is this... I don't even...

4/10 Not a fan of punk at all. All Along the Watchtower covered by Michael Angelo Batio who covered a Jimi Hendrix cover of a Bob Dylan song. Good stuff. http://www.4shared.com/mp3/NViOZ7cj/07_for_jimi_all_along_the_watc.htm Uploaded it myself, the YouTube link was compressed and sounded like rubbish.

The album is undisputedly one of the most influential Thrash Metal albums of all time. Every track on the album is a classic in its own right.

This soothing song is primarily cool and relaxing for driving down a back road alone during a warm Spring evening with the sun just about to hit twilight. -

The magical harmony that Hendrix brought with his music still lives on these days. What does a legend's cover of a legend, but then covered by another legend equal? A totally badarse song. From Michael Angelo Batio's Hands with Shadows 2: Voices. All Along the Watchtower originally by Bob Dylan but then covered by Jimi Hendrix, where the song got its popularity from. Can't find a good YouTube video with the right sounding tone, so I uploaded the track myself. 07. For Jimi All Along the Watchtower.mp3

Up From The Ashes replied to Lord Theoretical's topic in General Discussion
Well here goes, I hate Democrats and Republicans, they've worn their welcome now let the Libertarians take over. I think Dubstep is the most overrated genre of music. Gun Control activists make me sick. I support marriage equality, suck it Westboro. Nintendo is overrated, never liked them. American Television shows are uninteresting and boring, BBC has to show some of the best. Top Gear anyone? Deathcore is an abomination and should be destroyed. I despise Seatbelt laws and Speed Limits. I think the Ozzy era of Sabbath is overrated. America should not police the world, they need to quit sticking their finger in everyone's arsehole. -
Now Don himself said in interviews they never were into the whole glam scene. They never toured with bands like Poison or Motley Crue. They always toured with bands like Judas Priest, Scorpions, Metallica, etc. Why people think they were a hair band is beyong me, just because they had long hair I guess. Their later 90's and 00's albums were just Don himself writing some good ol' Rock and Metal. Personally, I feel like labeling Dokken as Glam is like labeling this as Death Metal. To me, Metal is just Metal. All these sub-genres and break-offs are just getting ridiculous with names. Though admittedly, those vocals sadly take more talent than growl vocals. Which I can sadly sing Nitro vocals and Death Metal vocals.

I've got a song probably none of you have ever heard before. Prozac Nation from Dokken's Hell to Pay album. It is a more contemporary sounding Metal album. The tune is rockin' and I recommend you definitely would give it a listen, along with the album. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVC9bjsd6Mw

And speaking of Metallica, here's my favourite and fastest guitarist of all time, Michael Angelo Batio, covering a medley of Metallica music with his own shredding take on it, playing it on two necks.

I do love the Unforgiven, but for some reason I like Unforgiven II just a bit more. It is possibly due to it's unique tone while continuing the story of the first.

5/10 Sounds more like ambiance for a 90's movie. One of only a select number of electronic tracks I like, only because of the Nostalgia of Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit. NFS, where have you gone?
-
4/10 It was getting good until the autotune or whatever kicked in. Very good ballad from James.
-
7/10 Sounds good, but this is one of those songs I prefer the Metallica cover.
-
8/10 Always good to hear the AVGN theme and bringing up James Rolfe And speaking of James Rolfe, I'll post a favourite song of his he said in his Metallica podcast. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rxBE5BnHnoE Great song, very underrated album.

6/10 Would be relaxing if the bass wasn't so ominous.

Ever wondered how high a Metal vocalist could get? Well, Jim Gillette in his band, alongside fastest guitarist alive, Michael Angelo Batio, hit the highest note(s) in Metal history ever in the song, Machine Gunn Eddie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pD5rND-Nlq0

5/10 Don't like electronic music, so I'm going to remain neutral. The one and only MAB. It gets better with every riff and note. At 2:19 he plays two different tones of each neck. Bloody insane!

Smoking a tiny bit, and I'm not really shamed of it per-say, because I only have a fag pack once a month, which still isn't healthy.
