  1. Sorry, but I feel like that's a horrible representation for Fluttershy. This is closer, but not quite accurate, either. Fluttershy should be a clean combination of soft, sweet and timid, my opinion. The song above has soft and sweet. Lacks timid. Heavy bass doesn't fit ANY of the mane6. (I'm assuming bass is that low, vibrating value in a sound)
  2. THERE IS NO VOTE FOR "I WILL ACCEPT HER FOR WHAT SHE IS". Oh damn. Sure I love her 'adorkableness'. Answer? Yes, I have to be okay with it. Of course, there will be some obvious 'categorizing' of "Princess Twilight" and "Old Twilight" if that happens.
  3. It's not the type that concerns me. However, I have none of the above besides a sub-par pc which I require for assignments and other misc. stuff.
  4. "YAY MAGIC PRINCESS TRANSFORMATION" -MAGICAL SOUNDS- "TWILIGHT IS SO WONDERFUL" "SOOOOOOOONG" That's usually what I'm thinking while watching any episode, really.
  5. I can't watch certain shows in the shoujo series. Kaichou-maid, AA(oh dear Lord), and a few more. Yeah, I pictured Osaka to be a bit more 'lively', but I kinda liked her anime version more. Ayumu still my favourite Azumanga character for being what she is.
  6. Time is yours to spend as you will, though it never belongs to you and never will. I understand the meaning behind the phrase of 'wasting time', but I can't help but do it anyways. D:
  7. The windmill episode had me panicking everytime the windmill stopped. Though, I actually only watched that one a year or two ago. Courage still terrifies me. What an oddly ironic yet fitting name to give him. Try watching Ano Hana. I admire Clannad as a classic and a legend, but Ano Hana took the top spot from the first episode. Hardly any build-up and it made me tear up. No anime has ever accomplished this in the first episode for me. It does take a bit of logic to make sense of it, though. Some of my friends actually found it hard to understand. p.s. on topic If you're still looking for more anime with good emotional value... try anything from Azuma Kiyohiko's mangas. (I only know of Azumanga Daioh being the only one of his mangas to be made into an anime, but his works are nice and delicate, even though it's a comedy genre) I admire Kiyohiko for Azumanga Daioh and Yotsubato. Comedy, but there are delicate feelings in them. Quite beautiful.
  8. I know plenty of people who don't play video games. It's almost always because they have other interests. Art, music, poetry, reading, movies, parties and such. However, I think I'm able to enjoy games while still doing everything else.
  9. It's a matter of interest, I suppose. Would you count me as a gamer if I only play a game for a week then quit forever? (I'm the type that tires of things that don't have enough personal value to me) I'm still playing Warframe right now, but only an hour or two a week. Waiting on a few other games, but no console games or anything of the sort. Maybe you have some other interest that you find more fascinating than video games? I find most people like you(or us, if you count it) have something else to be occupied with.
  10. Another is a bit more modern, but still not enough to pull me back into the genre. I didn't watch Higurashi for anything even related to horror. XD I watched it for the fact that decent yandere characters are quite rare for me. (Mirai Nikki was bad to me, don't ask why. very personal reasons for it being b* to me.) I did enjoy some genres of horror(Jigoku Shoujo at the time was one of my favourites), but I guess it's that I already expect things to happen. G**e and physical alterations don't scare me as much anymore. I've also developed, as most would, some ability to guess how everything ends. Enjoy your horror genre, though. Just because I can't enjoy it anymore doesn't mean I think it's bad. Still, Courage the Cowardly Dog(not anime) terrified me more than any horror series of any category.
  11. It's IDOL not idle. Biggest idol? Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, First leader, founder and idol of the Dai Gurren, the manliest of men, the inspiration of millions, KAMINA
  12. I only read the title. Congratulations on your self-enlightment. Hence forth, may you not judge anything without first understanding your position of credit to judge said thing.

    movies/tv Bleach Anypony?

It's been stretched far enough as a series. The saddest part is that every fight ends exactly how we expect it to end. The lines aren't very detailed or in-depth, it's all about the ROAAAAAR FITE MOOOOODE BANZAI. I MEAN. KAI. OR LOL.
  14. Hypocritical bronies who think that anything that doesn't suit their tastes or ideals is gross and those who enjoy it should be ostricized from fair judgement for their interests.
  15. I like how you judge people for liking something they're 'not supposed to like' by your standards, friend. Believe me or not, a brony who looks down on others for liking something that's not for them to like simply because 'it is gross'... are hypocrites. Again, up to you to decide how true this is. "Most of us". Lol. Really. lol. To think I would question why some people see us bronies as disgusting, horrible people. Because 'some are decent and good people. Others, not so much. No offense intended to anyone not involved, but there is a LOT of hypocrisy in this thread. I won't give you orders to stop hating them. However, you should not be ignorant to the fact that you are being a hypocrite(accept it if you want to hate them) by doing so. I praise your ability to overlook that MLPforums is also a 'whimsical, foolish and damn dumb site' and that we're only here for because we like it and want to be. I don't always play the hater of the haters, but this is so insanely hypocritical, I have to comment in such a manner. You insult those who enjoy something you find disgusting, yet it does no real harm to you at all. To add to things, they are a BRANCH OF A GENRE OF SOMETHING YOU LIKE. It is one thing to disassociate with such content, but from where I sit, you're not insulting the content itself. What you're doing is slandering those who enjoy it. "Some are good and some are bad"? Wow. That sure does not seem like it would suit EVERYTHING that describes a group of people. I'm sure all of MLPforum users are 'good' people and there is no variation, bad side or disgusting bronies amongst us. Hoorah. I'm normally quite nice about my criticism, but I do not intend it this time. I mean no insult to anyone in specific. You are welcome to decide what you will. This is simply an opinion.
  16. All this talk of Hasbro leeching of us isn't quite out of place. It's in their power and ideal to MAKE money off the series(us, respectively). Of course, this is not something we should support, especially considering their methods. All you accomplish is that they will have to resort to different methods to improve their gain. Not to say they wouldn't have even if you didn't consider this. In the end, my own opinion... I don't care about Hasbro. I've known better figurine designers in my life than all theirs. Many other great shows will come and go. I've seen more quality material in their merchandise in an old folk's home. I do not care if Hasbro shuts down, even if it means MLP goes down with it. It's not like MLP will die out right there and then just because Hasbro f***s itself over. Of course, I doubt it will be the case. Considering the profits it can net in, it will probably be bought out by some other company should Hasbro decide to drop it. MLP:FiM has had a good run, don't you think? It's accomplished a lot of things. I would not like to see it end the way it is now and it could have a better ending, but, if it ended like this, I'd still have no change in opinion to what MLP is worth to me. Writers*
  17. This is a tough one... Luna - By far, a major favourite character, though not always as the villian. She wasn't the most capable of villians to be considered, but the fact she INSTANTLY understood the weaknesses of each of the particular ponies(by challenging them in order) is something I found quite impressive. Discord - Probably the most crafty schemer amongst the current list of villians. Intelligent, but slightly careless. Discord resembles a skilled prankster of a kid who understands everyone else before he does himself. One of the more 'skilful' villians, for sure. Sombra - The staple of all the current villians. A shadow remnant of a once-almighty being who seeks his revenge. Even in his most weakened state, he had enough power to overtake all of Equestria, had he not been foiled. A clean-cut villian with many mysteries to be answered. Chrysalis - A more 'motherly' type of villian compared to the others, but, one that is clearly capable of trickeries and has the potential to be stronger than probably everypony existing in Equestria. Like Discord, she was also the type to underestimate others, thinking she knows others too well. Alicorn Trixie - Not a true villian, so I won't count her. ---------------------------- My greatest villian vote, goes to Sombra, for the reasons listed above. Discord comes in at a close second, not for lack of power and brilliance. However, unlike Sombra, Discord has several emotional weaknesses and a lack of consideration for most others. (this lack of consideration lead to his defeat by the Mane 6) Chrysalis takes third. A villian with an idealistic cause and a purpose to strive for. Her potential ability and skill at hypnosis(?) make her a difficult foe to oppose were she a bit more considerate. (same situational weakness as Discord, for now)
  18. Sombra probably my favourite. I respect the amount of work he's accomplished and his dedication to his cause. His powers seemed quite strong for a half-dead spectre, too. Plus, excellent classic villian voice and style.
  19. Lack of conflict. Self-proclaimed artists who boast and accept praise comparable to other artists they know of with clearly superior skill and ability. People who use themselves as a standard for living. Lack of progress. Seikon no Qwaser, the anime series. (both seasons) God. Myself. (sometimes) People who talk to my girlfriend who are lesbians or males. Firecrackers in the middle of the night on a working day. People who lie knowing it will come at the cost of the person being lied to. Lying at your own cost is totally fine. Annoying asian kids. Annoying western kids. Hindu prayer materials. (they smell HORRIBLE) Noobs in a game who cannot grasp the concept of teamwork in a game dedicated to teamwork. (if you are unable to grasp it, newbie is a fitting title, regardless of experience) False claims on my pride. My current inability to think of anything else right this moment.
  20. Opera for general use. (I like the shortcuts and clean, efficient styling it has) Chrome for sites that I don't want listed in my Opera history. (it's tidier if I don't mix certains ites) Firefox for gaming forums. (not game forums, just gaming forums)
  21. I like.... natural coloured eyes. I go to a particular category of school and have a multitude of cosplayer friends. Those lenses they wear to mask their iris colour? Those things make the whites of their eyes REALLY white. It's kinda like a living, moist, plastic eyeball. (while I would normally think it's hot, it's actually quite terrifying up close) My favourite eye colour.... black. I'm sure it's not the coolest of choices, but I find that black eyes tend to go well with any type of clothing, hair and skin colour.
  22. In real life, neither of those is relatively sad. The truth is, you cannot feel sorrow for something you've never cherished in your life. If you can, I must be pretty stupid and inexperienced. OPNaruBleach are among the long-stretched anime that have lost the ideal plot line due to pointless extensions. FairyTail goes in there, too. (They're throwing stereotype after stereotype into the plot and I find it dull) Personally, I'm into story. With several exceptions being slice-of-life/comedy. (note, not many Japanese comedy series are amusing to me at all)
  23. Death Note and Kaiji are on a whole different level. Elfen Lied was a silly anime. (to me, no one I know really agrees with this) I place it on the same category as Black Lagoon for being 'too considerate of plot to put detail into account'. Mindf*** as in ingenuity, not horror/etc. L, Yagami and the protagonist of Kaiji, Kaiji, are ingenius in their own rights. However, I personally find Kaiji better than either of them. Also that he's a bit more realistic. I've grown tired of horror anime. Frankly there's only so much they can do. I watched Courage the Cowardly Dog as a kid. Ghost hound did little more to me as a teen. On Topic : Which reminds me. If you have to watch in order of EPICOSITY(a name for the feeling I think most people get after too much anime overload) then do it like this. 1- Clannad/Occult Academy 2- Ano Hana 3- TTGL
  24. Death Note is more to a mindf*** genre, isn't it? It was recently(a few seasons back), outclassed by Kaiji. Tiger and Bunny is a great series, but I wouldn't place a lot of emotional value in it. I mean, aside from the memory-alteration arc, the whole series had little to no emotion other than a bit of girl-love and partner-issues.
  25. Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai. (Ano Hana for short) Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (Known as TTGL/Gurren Lagann. It's also well acknowledged, alongside Ano Hana, as one of the greatest anime in existence. Yes, it is mech. Don't even compare this to Gundam, Gundam loses. I implore you at least reach episode 10 without skipping anything. It is emotional, but in a different sense to Angel Beats and Ano Hana) This will make Angel Beats look like a kid's show. I despise anime chat, so I won't go in-depth into it. Angel Beats, by general anime enthusiast standards, is outdated. (I don't know how it works because certain more 'renowned' works[like TTGL] which are older, though given more claim, have never been called outdated to my knowledge) __________________________________________________________________________________________ If you hate reading... (the first 2 are VERY renowned anime) Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Clannad (but if you've watched Angel Beats, feel free to skip this, you're not missing out on much) Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin (a.k.a. Occult Academy. If you have the dedication, FINISH THE SERIES. I pledge my pride that the end will be worth it to those with an actual beating human heart)
