Bhending the Rules

This is awesome... now I'm imagining Rarity leading a Zerg rush. XD Except she wouldn't do that, because she'd be more likely to look down on players who employed strategies like that. No, she'd definitely be a Protoss player, and probably a pretty darn pesky one at that. Chrono Trigger is awesome. That is all.

I shall be there as well. Looking forward to it, to say the least.

It's been a while since I logged into the forums, several days in fact... and it turns out I returned just in time to vote for Rarity. Normally I'd be wondering if that was just a coincidence, but no. At this point it clearly is not.

My goodness, sometimes I feel like I'm the only one in this particular room who really liked Sonic Rainboom. Should I not say that too loudly?

I did not allow myself to cry when I saw sad Fluttershy during the finale. Leakage of excess liquid pride? Perhaps. But no crying.

For everyone worrying about the writers possibly deciding to give Rarity the short end of the stick in season 5... Don't. There was never supposed to be a "season 3" the way everyone here refers to it. Spike At Your Service was supposed to be the Rarity episode (or rather, the Sparity episode), but they shifted it to AJ mid-stream because reasons. And honestly? The way most people talk about that episode, maybe that was for the best. Take 26 episodes, subtract 2 for the premiere and 2 for the finale and figure on two more "group" episodes, and we're left with 20 to spread around. Rarity will be the central focus of at LEAST two of those episodes. Maybe three. Book it.

Since everyone has been weighing on on Flutters' rainbow-ified look... ...I like it. Not as much as the original Flutters, of course, but it isn't a horrible look for her. I certainly think she came out of that transformation looking a lot better than most of the other Mane Six. Some of them... I just don't even.

There should be a Fluttershy flag with 50 tiny butterflies in the upper-left corner. 'MARE-ICA.

Even those who view themselves that way have been known to turn that temple into an amusement park on occasion.

It's been two years since we got an awesome new villain. I'm pumped for this one. The ep description also says Discord is enlisted to hunt him down. Will we get to see this guy throw down with Discord? And is he going to be so badass that he wins and takes Discord's power? Oh, man... it needs to be Saturday. NOW.

I've probably said this before, but it's worth repeating. The folks who hate Rarity are simply Certainly nothing we can't handle. Rarity has nothing to worry about.

I feel like someone needs to say this, and I don't see anyone saying it, so I will. If you were expecting to see more athletic competition as part of the Equestria Games episode, or really, if you were expecting the games to be anything other than a backdrop for a character working through a personal problem, you were setting yourself up for disappointment before you even saw it. Remember the Grand Galloping Gala? A season of buildup, and it just ended up being a convenient backdrop for the main characters to learn another lesson. The "event" itself was completely superfluous, in the grand scheme of things. That was ALWAYS what the Equestria Games were going to be, right from the start. I'm a sports guy all the way. I care about college basketball three months before the rest of the world does. But as much as I may have enjoyed seeing more sports, this isn't a sports show. It never has been and never will be. The struggles of the main characters will trump everything else, and there's nothing wrong with that. That, in fact, is what got me hooked on this show and what keeps me coming back. Needless to say, I was quite pleased with this episode.
