    Because the rules of the community say you should. I imagine moderators won't be filtering or looking at every single PM, but if someone says something, after this post, I believe the penalties would be harsher. Not worth the risk when things like Skype exist. There are many more communication outlets than MLPForums.

    I was referring to your original quote in that post. "But it's in Canada." Is a deferment I've seen used as a supporting excuse for this very subject more than once. You statement about the U.S. was another great example of why they should do this. Edit: To clarify, I understand the angle you were going at, I am replying to who you quoted. Also, no, this is a site about MLP. It should not lock out the younger crowd in favor of more pornographic content.

Fact is, the moderation and owner do not feel comfortable with this sort of material on the site; as they shouldn't given the media climate regarding the subject. End of story. Allot of times things are in a nice grey area and easy to debate. In this case, it is a solid black and white decision.

    No, it does cause harm. It doesn't matter what age someone registered with, there is no way short of photo identification (and even that doesn't hold up in court) to prove that the participant is age of consent. If minors are engaging in explicit acts through this website, the owner and host can be in hot water very quickly. Far to often people miss-communicate over the internet; people get their wires crossed on the smallest things. Even if two (or more) people are 'consenting' in private, lines can be crossed and people will feel violated. This site does not exist for anyone to satiate their sexual desires. This is a site about My Little Pony, and the surrounding IP. With all the trouble and bad press surrounding bronies as it is - not mentioning how harsh the court sees these cases - I have a hard time why anyone would be against such moderation. It does cause harm. Edit: As a rule I often follow; if I wouldn't say it in front of my mother, it doesn't need to be on the MLP Forums.

    Just the fact that this even needed mentioning confirms my recent suspicions. Kudos to the MLPF staff, for once again, clarifying something that should have been blatantly obvious. I'm not even being sarcastic. I administrate and run a few communities, and I understand the workload that you all get buried under. Needing extra time to deliberate and announce something like this should be unnecessary, but sadly you must.

    Well, I am a rapper, so my mode of thought is a hair different.

    I imagine a female vocalist until somewhere around 40 seconds, and then rapping at around 55 seconds. Something along these lines for verses. The vocals would be best handled in this fashion: youtu.be/ZOw7Xtbdauk The rap verses could be something like this: wider skies and the deeper air wanna fly then grow a pair time attack and a Flutter stare don't get sacked what are you pack'n when time attacks when your knees creak and your back snaps when you're no longer pack'n a battle and you've loosed your saddle flaps and then only thing flapp'n is your gums will your stories be boring or full of fun books are filled with what is done... This was just a quick example, but you get the idea.

    Ha, looking back on that post I must have been tired. Not to long ago there was a bug that knocked out the search function. Features that relied on the search function such as new content, recent content, ect; did not work.
