    So we have a new family member joining us. My wife and I brought home our Mini Aussie Shepard/Pug Mix puppy home today, so excited but nervous for sure.

    You know I kind of forget sometimes, that I have a profile on here. Hate how life gets so busy that you forget things that make you happy. Ugh, that reminds me I still need to finish the show, still haven't watch the last couple of seasons.

    So, I'm sure everyone has at least hard about Tommy Lee's tweet, calling out Trumpsters. The thought occurred to me. They want to respond to what they perceive as fascism with legitimate fascism. I literally wish them luck with that.

    Somehow got bamboozled into working a double shift tomorrow.. I know it's going to be overtime.. just spending 14 hours at work doesn't make it worth it. All because no one else wants to pick the shift up...

    Just finished what Netflix had concerning Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, and I just have one thing to say.

    This also might be a spoiler if anyone that is watching it, and has not finished.

     

    But there is no way that Speedwagon died without children! Wherever there is a Joestar, there is a Speedwagon not far behind! Utter nonsense to think or say otherwise!

    So one week till I start running the campaign for my D&D group... and I'm nervous as hell, and I really don't have anything prepared.. It just feels so overwhelming to be honest, lol. But we are in the midst of it I guess.

    They want to roleplay the initial meeting of the players, so I need to make some NPC's. and lead to a hook for them to get into the adventure.

     

    I've been listening to this song a lot lately. I think I've always liked Bob Ross, and was fascinated by the art of painting. And somewhat like a painter, I'm helping build a world with the players.. or something like that I guess, lol.

    Writing your own D&D campaign setting isn't as easy you'd think. But maybe I say that because this is my first time. I really want the players to have fun, but also be engaged, believing that the world is real.

    Just finished the first D&D campaign I ever played. It's kind of a bitter sweet moment actually.

    I'm going to miss being a player character, and trying to figure out all the puzzles, and playing a character completely different from myself.

    But I will be getting the chance to play god, because I'm gonna start DMing for the next campaign.

    Kitchen accident, slipped on some grease or something, despite wearing non slip shoes. I reached out to grab a leg of a dish rack by the dish machine, but I partially missed, and hit the edge of the upper shelf with my right hand. I managed to completely sever the extensor tendon on my right middle finger, almost down to the bone. Obviously had to have surgery, then physical therapy. Still have the scar too, and it only gives me issues when I try to write by hand, or it gets cold. The finger starts to go numb, and sometimes it spreads to the index, and ring fingers. Other than that, just about normal.

      A.I, still very bad at judging things right, doesn't understand sarcasm, irony, parody, etc.
      Hate Speech, seems to depend on who you ask what is considered as part of it.

      It probably won't do very well at first, but refine the algorithms and feed it enough training material and it might be a decent first-stage check.

      A lot of the potential in current AI technology lies in learning to spot patterns - it might incorrectly flag something as hate speech, but if everything it flags is passed on to a human moderator then that wouldn't be a problem (view it as a way to filter out things that are clearly not hate speech.)
