  1. no if this is things ive done in gaming it would have to be the gears 3 tournament i won here in alaska (best in city!) but if not and you mean moments in video games the probably any glitch inn battlefield 4 evry moment in devil may cry 3 or the ending to bioshock infinite

  2. Firstly, what do you mean by dark? Do you mean their appearance or their personality? Actually, that was a stupid question, of course it is going to be their personality.

Right, well what are your characters going to be used for? If it is a RP then you'll have to let the person in charge decide if your OC is too dark or not. If it is going to be used in a Fan-Fic then you should probably label it with the 'possibility of darker content'. But it really depends on the person who is viewing your character.

If you want my opinion then could you please leave a link to your character's description or perhaps explain him to us?

well i actually meant back story. but on occasion his character can be dark too. and i would put a like to the story, if i had one i would love share it but i have no idea where. i was thinking deviant art.

so the characters are in a fanfic? then i recommend FimFiction

or just post your story on google docs and post a thread here on the forum with the links to the chapters

that's all i can think of right now :3

that sounds good to. though i have no idea how to use google docs. so if i were going to do that. ( and i might still ) i would have to have someone tell me how.

  3. Of course. Whatever request you shot at me, I will try my best to make. So, if you ever have the free time you can just ask. I will always be here.

    derpy_emoticon2.png

ok thank you. ill try to find someway to get them commissioned. and when i do ill come back with a request. ^_^

  4. You could possibly re-make them. Like, i'm not sure how to say this. But, like you could make them from here. So, basically you just do the same exact pony you made, just re-made and then you can give me those images and I can make you a signature, problem sloved

well their hand drawn because when i used the pony creator i didnt like how they turned out. so i drew custom hair and everything. if i could get them commissioned could u make one then?

  5. this is the first episode of the story im writing i hope you all like it. and i apologize for spelling or writing errors in advance i still editing. but tell me what you think. and if its good ill keep writing ^_^

Tales of guardians-The Legend of Spade

    -Episode I-: Chapter I: awakened.

The last thing I remember before getting released from the stone statue that I was sealed in was Celestia telling me I had saved equestria with the choice I made. This was one thousand years ago. The next thing I know I was waking up in a daze with Celestia, Luna and a third mare I had never met.

“Is he going to be okay?” the strange mare said as if she was concerned about me.

“He should be fine.” Celestia said in the calm voice she always had.

“So this is the stallion that helped you seal me up?” Luna asked looking at Celestia.

    “That’s correct.”

Suddenly memories from a thousand and sixteen years ago rushed back into my head like waterfall.

“Where - where am I?” I asked still dazed from being awakened.

“Oh good you can speak” celestia said sounding a bit excited. “Well my most faithful defender, you’re back in Equestria. Although you never really left, you were just asleep if you will.”

“Oh…” I replied as my head finally started to clear.

“So you’re Spade?” the third mare said excitedly as she got a little too close for comfort. “I’ve read so much about you I’m twilight sparkle” she said with a big smile holding her hoof out for me to shake.

“Nice to meet you” I replied as I shook her hoof.

“Well, twilight it would be best for you to get back to your friends in Ponyville, and Luna you should rest up to raise the moon later. I need to discuss why Spade is here and not still frozen in the statue.” Celestia explained.

“Oh, okay, princess.” Twilight said as she and Luna left.

“Well, she is a bit... way too enthusiastic to see me.” I muttered after she left.

“Well you are kind of a legend now” Celestia replied

    “I’m a wha..?” I asked confused.

“Well, After… the incident. I made sure you we’re remembered as one of the two stallions that helped me seal nightmare moon away.”

“I didn’t really do that much.” I said.

“Oh, but you did. Because of you and Star Swirl’s assistance I was able to seal her in the moon.” Celestia explained.

“I just wish I could have saved Star Swirl…”

“I know. But his loss led to the safety of all of Equestria, and even the world. Anyways’ come with me. It’s time to begin your training.” I followed Celestia back into the castle

“So why am I here?” I asked her. “What was the point of unfreezing me?”

“You sound like you wanted to stay frozen.”

“No, I just thought my time here was done.”

“Recently, there have been many attacks on Equestria from discord, to changeling’s invading. And I thought it would be safer to have you back.”

“Dis-discord returned..? And changelings attacked? What happened to the peace treaty?”

“All will be answered in time. But, for now, let’s begin your training.” Celestia opened the door to a fully stocked armory with a training room.

“So Spade, choose a weapon from the armory.”

    “What happened to my sword?”

“It was lost many years ago in The Griffon Raid of Canterlot Castle.

“What all happened while I was gone!?!”

“I’ll direct you to the archives after you’re training. Now let’s get started.” Celestia handed me a long sword from the shelf. “I assume you’ll be using one of these?”

    “That’s right.”

“Wonderful, I’ll be using the saber as usual. So… have at you!”

She drew her blade and the training session began. She won all of the fights as usual. I never was able to beat the princess back in the day, but after several hours of training, my strength was back to normal and Celestia told me to head to the archives to catch up on the history I missed.

“Great, I get to read for hours...” I groaned. A librarian walked up to me and told me she already had all of the books ready for me to read to catch me up on history.

    “Follow me,” the librarian said

“Good, Celestia. It’s like magic school all over again.”

“I know. I hate reading too”

    “That’s ironic considering you’re a librarian.”

“Yeah, I am because this is the only way I can know the history. And, I love history.”

    “I see.”

“Well, here they are,” she explained as we stopped at the table with at least thirty books on it.

“Oh...my... Celestia...” I said with my mouth agape. “I really have to read all of these!?!”

“Yep,” she smiled as she was trotting away. “Good luck!”

Several more hours passed as I read all of the books. It was night time now and the moon had risen. Luna walked in just as I finished and I was falling asleep on the table.

“I don’t think the table will make such a good bed,” she giggled waking me up.

    “Huh..? Wha..?” I replied groggy.

“Come, I shall take thee to your room.”

I laughed, “You still talk like that?”

    “Yes I do.” she smiled

“Why?” I asked still giggling slightly.

“I like to talk like this. It makes me feels more royal!” she answered taking a regal pose.

I busted out laughing. “You’re so weird!”

We both began laughing as we left the library, which was empty by this time.

We talked for about an hour on the way back to my room. She wished a good night, and to be prepared for the morning. Something was going to happen but I wasn’t sure what.

    Chapter II: A New Companion

It was a new day, and it would be the day I started my second life. I walked out of my room in the west tower of Canterlot Castle and headed down to the courtyard. A messenger galloped up to me.

    “Are you Spade?”

    “Yeah, that’s me,” I replied.

“This is for you.” He handed me a note and galloped away.

The note had a royal seal on it. I opened it and it said to meet Princess Celestia in the guard barracks for a reason she would explain when I arrived. I closed the note and headed to the barracks. when I arrived Celestia was standing there with a line of guards.

    “What’s going on?” I asked.

“It’s time to pick a new companion to help you on your adventures,” Celestia stated.

    “Oh…”

This was still a touchy subject for me. After losing Star Swirl, who was my best friend back then, and even a father figure, I wouldn’t even think of replacing him.

“Do I have too?” I whispered.

I saw Celestia’s expression change to one of sorrow.

“I know you miss him, Spade, but you can’t travel alone. Besides, I think he would want you to find a new partner, a new friend…”

    “Ok…” I agreed.

“Then let’s get started. Spade, this is General Nova, leader of the Equestrian Military and Shining Armor Captain of the Royal Guard.”

“Nice to meet you both,” I said

    “Likewise,” Nova replied.

“Now, Spade,” Shining chimed in, “we’ve gathered these soldiers because we feel they are fit to assist you on your journey.”

I scanned all of the soldiers in the lineup. And honestly none of them seemed fit to me. All of them were strong warriors I’m sure, but they didn’t seem like the kind of pony I could see myself traveling with for a very long time. However there was one mare standing behind General Nova, a unicorn with a white mane and a grey coat with bright blue eyes.

    “How about her?” I asked.

    She looked up, surprised.

Nova stepped in front of her and said “This is my daughter Faith, and she is not one of the warriors available. Besides, she hasn’t had the right training to assist you.”

“No offence to anypony here but I don’t believe these warriors are fit to accompany me on my travels.”

“And you think a pony with no training is?”

“Excuse me?” Faith interrupted. “But I’m a decent archer. At least that’s what my instructor says.”

“Nova why don’t you just think this over?” Shining suggested.

“Because there’s nothing to think about; she’s not ready!” Nova shouted.

“Let’s let her decide.” Celestia said.

    “But-

“That’s an order, General” Celestia interrupted. “What do you think of joining Spade on his journey Faith?”

Everypony turned to Faith awaiting an answer.

“Um, well, I could see the world like I’ve always wanted, and what better way to train to fight than to experience combat first hand, right?”

“Excellent!” Celestia exclaimed. “Faith, gather your things and prepare for your adventure. You and Spade depart in a week. You two should probably get to know each other better.”

“I have to do some things before we hang out so I’ll meet you and the donut shop in an hour, ok?” Faith said

“Alright see you then” I replied

Faith and everypony else left. Nova left giving me a dirty look. He didn’t seem very happy about his daughter leaving, I don’t blame him, I would probably be mad if my daughter left on such short notice. Shining trotted up to me with an apologetic face.

“Sorry about Nova, he’s kind of a tough cookie if you know what I mean.”

    “It’s ok I’m not mad”

“Good.” He said with a sigh of relief. “I’m glad you’re not.”

“So, what was your name again?”

    “I’m Shining Armor”

“Nice to meet you I’m Spade”

“Nice to meet you too. So why did you choose Faith?”

“She seemed like she would be a good traveling companion. Nothing against the others but there’s just something about her…”

“If I didn’t know any better I would think you had a crush on her.” He said with a smile.

I blushed a bright shade of red as he said that.

“I don’t have a crush on her!” I yelled not realizing I was in a room full of ponies. As I noticed everypony else I blushed even brighter.

    Shining laughed.

“It’s ok I was only teasing. You know I was in love with a girl back when she was foal-sitting my sister. We started dating right before my sister left for ponyville and after a year we were married.” He said with a smile

“Who is your sister?” I asked

“Oh my sister’s name is Twilight Sparkle.”

“The purple mare that was there when I was un-frozen?

“Yea that’s her. I’m really proud if my little sis. She’s done so much like making a bunch of new friends, reviving the elements of harmony, and defeating discord.”

Shining looked at a wall clocked and his expression changed to one of concern.

“Hey I gotta run. I’m going to miss my train for my honeymoon. Well talk later”

He galloped out of the room. I decided to head to the museum to look at the artifacts. When I arrived I saw a section that had some stuff about the solar soldiers and I in it so I decided to see what it said. And what I saw in a glass case was my red scarf. It meant a lot to me. It was the only thing I had left to remember my family by. I thought I had lost it when I was helping Celestia fight off nightmare moons forces. I saw the museum owner and I called him over to me.

“Excuse me but I was wondering if I could have this back?”

“Why do you want it?” he asked.

“It means a lot to me.”

“Well under normal circumstances no, but seeing that it’s yours I can’t really say no.”

“Thank you” I tied the scarf around my neck and headed to the donut shop.

    Chapter III: turning to faith.

Faith trotted inside to get her things. She knew she would have to be prepared for a trip that could last months at a time. When she trotted in though her father, General Nova, was already there.

“You know I don’t approve of this don’t you?” Nova objected.

“Yes, I know.” Faith said as she started sorting her things “But spade needs me and the princess thinks I’m ready.” she returned.

“I’m sorry Faith; I’m just worried about you is all. I don’t want the same thing that happened to your mother happen to you.”

“Father it’s not the same thing, it’s not like I’m going to the front lines like you and her did.”

    “In a way, you are.”

    “How is that?” she asked.

“You’re going into the world to fight. It’s the front just not the front of a war.”

She stopped, processing what her father just said.

“Faith if you’re not ready don’t be afraid to back down. Retreat isn’t cowardice it’s a strategy. But if you are, I won’t stop you”

    “I think I’ll be ok.”

“ok I believe in you. Your brother and I will miss you.”

“I’ll miss you guys too” she sighed.

“Honestly though I think the guardian is a bit of a pansy.” He said taking a swig of sider.

She chuckled. “I’m telling him you said that”

“Go for it” he returned. “If he wants show his strength he knows where to find me.”

“Actually he doesn’t know where we live so, no he won’t”

“Then tell him where to find me!” he shouted, laughing right after.

Faith laughed with him. “Ok I will, see you later dad.”

    “Bye, and it’s General!”

“No it’s not” she shouted back trotting out the door, grabbing her bow and quiver.

Nova had been trying to get her to call him that for months. I never worked  She started to trot down to the donut shop to meet me but was distracted by a stallion looking awfully upset by the side walk and decided to help him. I’m glad she did because by this time I was just finishing up my conversation with shining armor.

“What’s wrong?” she said trotting up to the sad earth pony.

“Well, I’m trying to get the note to this mare I care for but I can’t let her father see it, and she’s been confined to her room.

“I can help you with that. I’ll just shot the note up there with my arrow. ” She said with a smile. “Um do you have something I can attach it to my arrow with?

“Uh.” He looked around. “No I don’t” he sighed.

“Oh wait here’s something!” Faith smiled grabbing a piece of string on the ground.

She tied the string around her arrow and fired up into the mare’s window.

The arrow landed in the mare room, hitting the ceiling not sticking into it. The mare opened the note and immediately leaned out the window.

“Yes I will marry you!” she yelled with tears in her eyes.

    Faith and the stallion gasped.

“You will?” the stallion replied with tears also in his eyes.

“Yes!” the mare jumped out of her window only to fly down with her wings. “I love you Spectrum!” she said crying

“I love you too Rainbowshine!” the stallion said also crying

Faith smiled and left the two ponies to their selves. She continued to the donut shop. She was about to walk in but she realized that she didn’t have her necklace that her mother gave her the night before she passed on. She quickly galloped back to her home to retrieve it. By this time I had just retrieved my scarf, (Quite the coincidence huh?)  She opened the door with her magic, and went straight to her room. Grabbed it put it and put it on. She then left and galloped to the donut shop.

“I have to get there! He’s probably been waiting for an hour!” she thought to herself.

Actually I had just arrived. I had only been waiting for about five minutes before she arrived. I saw her run by the windows to get to the door, as she approached she didn’t seem to slow down, and well… she kind of… ran into the door. Every ponies head turned to look. I quickly got up and galloped to help but… um… I kind of ran in to the door too. We both looked at each other rubbing our heads and we both started to laugh. As we did some other ponies started to laugh too.

“Come on, let’s get something to eat.” I said leading her to the table I was sitting at.

“So tell me about yourself guardian.” Faith asked me

“Well first, you don’t need to call me that. Just call me Spade.”

    “Ok, anything else Spade?”

“Well as you can see I’m a black haired stallion with a white coat and beautiful yellow eyes”

“I see those beautiful yellow eyes” she replied jokingly

“I also saved the world about a thousand years ago, but that’s not really important.”

“Yeah, not really.” She said with a chuckle.

    “So tell me about yourself”

“Well I’m a skilled archer and I don’t use swords.”

    “Why not?”

    “It’s a secret.” she winked.

Donut Joe the pony that ran the donut shop here in canterlot, trotted up and asked what we wanted.

“I would like a cream filled, with an espresso with a shot of vanilla.” She recited as if it was a usual thing.

“And how about you?” Donut Joe asked

“I’ll have a regular with black coffee” I said

Donut Joe trotted away with our orders.

“So are you prepared for the journey?” I asked Faith

“Yeah, I just need to take care of some things and I’m set.” She replied.

Our orders arrived, we ate our meals, if you could call them that being donuts and all, and left.

“look at the time.” Faith said tapping me on the shoulder.

I looked at the clock tower; the time was ten thirty at night.

“We should probably head home. Do u want me to take you?’ I asked.

She looked at me kind of funny and said “no I’m good.”

“okay see you later” we both left  and went home to prepare for our journey.
