Here's a cover I did of a parody of a Christmas song for the holiday season.

After hearing the original I couldn't help but sing along. At that moment, it sparked something within me. I decided to sing for the fandom!!!! XD

Oh my lord that movie is quite the spectacle. Better then the first in my opinion.

There were of course things that rubbed me the wrong way but still worth the watch my fellow Bronies.

This was just something I made a friend's birthday. She's the creator of Doctor Whooves and the Rainbow Companion so I figured why not make an illustration based on her series...with my own twist. 

I hope you all like it.

I'm the type of person who waits for something to come out before giving my opinions. This is no exception.

While the build up kinda left me with a slight empty feeling after seeing this episode, I can at least say I like Spike's dilemma here. Would I want to see more of the games? Of course, but for what it's worth I thought this episode was okay.

HOLY CRAP WAS THAT FIGHT SCENE EPIC!!! After watching that second part with the fight I was like "Was I just watching My little Pony or Dragon Ball Z?!" It was that epic. It was like DHX put a whole lot of effort into that fight scene. And the reintroduction of a G1 villain was beyond cool too.

I personally thought this episode was pretty decent. We got to see the out come off both episodes that led up to the games. Even though some people would want to see more (besides the ice archery) it was still a good episode in my opinion. The jokes were als overy hilarious in my opinion.

That and Rina doesn't seem to work well with others, especially newbies.

The ones I got are talented. One of them from Australia.

I no longer have Rina-Chan on board with me, I do however have the voice for Lyra in the Anthropology radio drama. As well as CreeperPaige and Azaracat. I've already found an animator.

The only nitpick I have about this show is the fact the color pattern of the Mane 6 (which is used to symbolize the keys they get) was hammered in this whole episode. You see them everywhere. But, like I said, it's a nitpick and it doesn't negate the fact I loved this episode to death. It. Was. AWESOME!!!!!!!

Sadly wont get to live-stream this one which is a shame. I'd really love to see Cadance and Discord interacting. I don't think she's met him before has she? As in on screen?

 

Wait, why is one of Cadance's Royal Guard's still crystallized? Isn't that supposed to wear off once you're outside of the crystal empire?

Discord has so much dialogue this episode, wouldn't say I enjoyed the song though, not that I didn't like, it just think they could have put the 2 minutes to better use elsewhere.

 

I always thought discord actually lived with Fluttershy at her cottage but the episode made it seem like he lives elsewhere and keeps in touch with Fluttershy by writing letters, the sound of Discord being Fluttershy's pen pal seems kinda destructive to his character, I have a bit of trouble imagining him being so...cutesy haha. There were a lot of references too, Harry Potter, 2 Disney (very loosely though), Tom Cruise... not sure how I feel about that last one

If you're a naturally born Crystal pony, no. I liked the Raoul Duke reference.

Are there any Bronies in the Nashville area? If so we should say hi to each other. Ya know, just get to know one another and chat and that sort of thing.

Guess I'm just not paying attention, didn't even make the connection till now.

 

Since, ya know, they were key holes so, I figured they'd be actual keys xP

I'm guessing once all are collectied they become keys.

I think that another point that has yet to be noted is that both items were given to Rarity/Dash as recognition from another. I feel this may continue.

Well we have 4 more ponies and and 16 episodes left, as well as a 5th season, so we'll just have to wait and see.

After watching Rainbow Falls and Rarity Takes Manehatten I can say this: I KNOW WHAT THE KEYS ARE, I KNOW WHAT THE KEYS ARE!!!!!

And I would be happy to explain.

In terms of plot this was actually one of the show's more complicated, deep stories. It had really good characterization for Applejack and Fluttershy to boot. Not to mention it was really nice to see those two characters interacting as they've been kept largely separate before now. While I'm not sure I'd go quite as far as calling this a great episode I am liking it more the more I think about it and I've yet to see any compelling arguments against it. 

I'm going to have to disagree. I mean, I followed the plot pretty well. It made sense to me and it made me laugh. BTW, has anyone noticed that MLP seems to be taking a dark and graphic turn?

Just what is so scary about bats? They are so adorable! They get rid of pesky mosquitoes.

Depends on the bat. You can like them all you want but you don't like bats flapping their wings in your face. It's like a bee or wasp.

Also bats can bite so that's a painful experience.

Man, oh MAN did this episode have me laughing my flank off. The superhero parodies (I could name which character was parodying which hero) were absolutly awesome. Fluttershy's in particular had me gushing with laughter. Her Hulk-like design was over the top, yes but that was the point I think. Spike was doubting himself a lot in this episode sure, but when an episode is good, it's really good. Not much world building unfortunately but hey will still have 20 episodes left.

I truly enjoyed this episode for 2 reasons:

1. The fact that Scoot's in ability to fly is made canon officially.

2. Hearts as strng as Horses was an awesome song accompanied with an awesome MV portion.
