  1. There were some books here that Midnight hasn't read. He needed to do something that would shorten the wait, after all it was something important so he couldn't leave. Midnight came across a magic related book he hasn't seen before titled "High level conjuration. Now or never." "Well, that's an interesting title. I guess I'll read it through while we're waiting."
  2. @, "Midnight Blade, nice to meet you. Now if you'd excuse me I'd like to read some of the books over there." Midnight immediatly realized what situation she was in but ignored it for the time being because he was afraid it might be a touchy subject. When he opened one of the books he read something about a spell he'd been trying to learn for a few months now. "So that's what I've been doing wrong." He said without realizing it escaped his mouth. Midnight closed his eyes, it was something he always did while he wanted to memorize something. It was a type of spell which could be handy in a somewhat dangerous situation. He wouldn't be able to use it in there, the library was way to small for such a spell.
  3. @, "That's right." Midnight replied while taking a quick look around. "Is everypony else here for the same reason?" He didn't see any sign of the library being closed so there may have been a chance that some of these ponies are here for the simple reason that they like reading. Midnight was intrigued by some of the books which said things like "Advanced magic", "Train faster" and the like under the magic section of the library.
  4. Midnight was pretty bored. Ever since the fall of the princesses he hasn't gotten any type of mission, not even something simple like a lost pet. His cave was silent like it always was. That was until the newly installed alarmsystem went of. It was a brand new one he got a month or two ago. Midnight got to the entrance and saw a scared mailpony holding a scroll. "I didn't even think anypony besides me knew of this place" He thought before turning the ringing bells off. "Sorry about that ma'am. I didn't think I'd ever get a letter here." Midnight said with a little bit of shame in his voice. Before taking the piece of paper with his magic he asked how the female pegasus even knew about this place. "I got send here by my boss. He said the come to be princess, Sunny Dew, wanted these to be delivered as soon as possible." Was the anwser Midnight got from the mailpony. With the scroll, as well as some other things, being held with his simple levitation spell Midnight went back in to read it. "Ponyville? It's been a while since my last visit there." It had been a while indeed. Even before the Poison Hex became the currently most wanted criminal Midnight hasn't been there in years. "The library? Well, I won't really need a map then. And a train ticket. Most likely for the others who live way further away than I do. Should be because now there are in fact twelve elements opposed to the previous six." Midnight trotted outside and used his levitation to seal his so called house's entrance with a giant rock. Once Midnight hit the bottom of the mountain he started to go full speed ahead heading towards Ponyville. Dodging trees left and right while thinking back about the times he had gone to other countries for things like infiltration and somewhat more boring, but also more peaceful, diplomacy duties. The times where he saved small towns from monsters while everypony was asleep. Because of all those thoughts it seemed like just a minute or two before arriving in Ponyville. When he found the library, which was a bit harder than expected, Midnight knocked on the door hoping he wasn't too late.
  5. A voice echoed through the cafetaria "Wrong combination, please try again." ((OOC, Sorry about that, I'll message them and if they say they're out we can replace them since there hasn't been a lot of posts from them yet)) nothing else to say here... derp derp derp
  6. "I have no idea. I've studied magic, not mathematics." Midnight got so bored that he tried to interact with the animals. Surprisingly he could, to an extant at least. ((OOC come on guys, Steven and I can't do everything by ourselves, I'm getting out of ideas on what to write too...))
  7. "I guess that's one step out of this hole. Think we'll all get out alive?" Maybe that thought was a bit to dark for Midnight, but it was one that faded away from his mind pretty fast. "Ah, Sorry about that. I guess it's just the tought of getting in a life or death situation out of nowhere."
  8. "What an annoyance, hope the others have it easier." Midnight said after checking the control panel. Why were they even forced to play a game like this? Was it because some rich pony was bored or something like that? An experiment by the government? Was it some kind of test?
  9. Looking around the room wasn't very useful. There was a lot of technology Midnight didn't quite get, after all he used magic a lot which he mostly couldn't anymore. "Damned poison." He softly said. "Can't even use my magic anymore. Oh, Zero when I get my hoofs on you.
  10. "Seems like we have to put the anwsers in the safe. Well, they don't seem that hard so I guess I'll look around the room to try to find something that may be of use later on." ((OOC quick thing, I won't be posting a lot until friday. Busy with real life stuff. I'll still be checking and posting daily, just less than normal.))
  11. "Alright in we go then." Just when everypony got in their doors they closed. Behind the magenta door was a weird room. the door before it said "Holographic Zoo." It was full of miniature displays of all kinds of animals. They were behaving just like they normally would. Only thing was that they were fake. There was a table in the corner of the room and a safe was directly under it. On the table was a note which displayed two algebra problems. 60=2A×2.5 9= 2X×5 When midnight took a closer look at the safe he found that it said AAXX. Behind the cyan door was an office. Nothing too big or fancy. On a table in the middle of the room was a piece of paper with a safe under the table too. But unlike the magenta door there were other algebra problems written on them. 5= 3A×15 8= 5X×2. And finally behind the yellow door there was a cafetaria. It seemed out of place because it was made out of wood, unlike the warehouse the ponies were just in. The safe was on the bar with a piece of paper right next to it. 12= 5A×3 24= 4X×4 was what it said. ((OOC quick thing, please explore the room a bit before finding the safe and paper.))
  12. "I don't really have a problem with that. But the others would have to agree with it too." There wasn't much time before the doors closed so they had to decide quickly. "It'd mean we'll have to go through the magenta door. Does anyone have a problem with option three?"
  13. "What part of my explanation did you not understand? When the colored doors open you go through them. In there you will figure out the rest." An automated sounding voice echoed through the room. "Colored doors have opened. Five minutes untill colored doors close."
  14. @, "You're not thinking again. A pair will be treated as one pony, which means they share a destiny. And there can only go three ponies in every colored door How to get points will be explained when the time is right for that. The point of this game? Why don't you figure that out for yourselves? And how could I forget about the penalty? Well, it's simple. You die. There are two types of poisons in your bracelets. The first one is an anesthetic called soporil beta and the second one which is called tubocurarine, a muscle relaxer. I wouldn't want you to suffer when you'd die. I'm not a monster you know. Oh one more thing unicorns can't use magic other than levitation anymore. To make sure of that I have a third poison in their bracelets which will make them unable to use anything that isn't levitation." The anti-magic poison in the bracelets activated. A barely noticable pain went through all the unicorns' wrists.
  15. "Wrong! They are red, green and blue. Seems like I really have to treat you like foals after all, don't you think? Anyway, back to the point. To open the secondary door you'll need the right combination. by the by, you can also team up with the same color. That opens the doors with the complamentary color. So, miss finalo, how would you open the magenta door?"
  16. "Next thing on the list. When the colored doors open they stay open for five minutes. Behind each colored door there is another one. You'll only be able to open it using the right combination of colors. Now can anypony tell me what the primary colors are?"
  17. "NO! What is wrong with your brain? It's easy, the timer on your bracelets is a countdown for when the colored doors open. Now over to the second part. How to escape. You've seen the door with the number nine on it, right? Well, if you can get the number on your bracelets to or above nine you can open it. Sad thing is that the door only opens once and only for nine seconds that is. And that brings us on the subject of how to get points. You play the ambidex game. Now if you think "I'll just let someone else open it and then I can escape too". Well... If you do that you'd be violating the rules and you will be penalized."
  18. "Well, now that everyone has gathered we will discuss the rules. But first thing's first. you see those fancy little buttons on your bracelets? If you press both of them you'll see it says 00:10. Now what do you think that means? Anyone? Come on at least try to guess."
  19. ((OOC Well, since two people aren't responding at the moment we'll just have to go on without them for the time being.)) Fire Horn and Darkshift came out of their elevator. There was barely time for an introduction before Zero's voice echoed in the whole room. "What took you so long? And after I was nice enough to let everypony out at the same time." He sounded really angry, unlike the calm voice he had in the elevator. "Now if all of you would please come around this screen so we can have a decent conversation, I'll explain the rules of this game." Once again the calm voice returned and it looked like the previous statement was forgotten by him already.
  20. If you ask me, just about everything should stay in the original language. In most cases you'll end up with bad voices/writing/lipsyncing/other stuff I'm not thinking about right now, or a combination of that.
  21. Sorry about that. I've shared it now. Hope you enjoy it, it's seriously the first time I've written something that big.
  22. Example/Writing Piece:https://docs.google.com/document/d/1dpkwBItBS3IQ8bjpXxThlk8y4eqzTTtpP5ZBu9y2Hnc/edit Side note: It's far from done and I only really write when I feel like it... Also the ponies will come later if you wanted to know.
  23. "It's impossible to figure out. We can only see the inside if this giant warehouse. And with some ponies still sleeping in their rooms it's not like we can go further in this place. Zero would most likely say something if anything was wrong. Well, other than the fact we've heard nothing yet, all I know is that we're not getting out as long as they are sleeping."
  24. @, Since midnight was up on the elevators anyway he decided to go check up on Stephan. "Well, I've figured out that we aren't the only ones here, as well as how we're in an abandoned warehouse for some reason. If you want to get out just climb up the hatch on the ceiling. Oh and by the way you are not even the last one to get out of there."
  25. "Well, I hope the others get out soon. Zero said something about explaining stuff after everypony got out of their rooms. You think they actually have... No, because if it was like that Zero would've explained the rules already, right." All Midnight could do was to wait.
