Shame replied to The Time Pony's topic in Everfree Planning, OOC & Discussion
http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/shame-r3387 I'd love to apply Shame to be on the 'Evil' side for the sake of mischief and disrupting progression xD -
Alistar was struck by the order, having been grouped together with the ponies and Gryphon who he had shared little but a campfire with. Alistar was just a colt, there was no way they'd send him on a mission! He opened his mouth to speak, but instead he shrank, intimidated as the order seemed to be fairly stern. He couldn't afford to be evicted from the caravan, he had a mission, he would have to go with the group to this new town. He hangs his head and shifts a bit to reset his saddle bags, ready for the given mission.

1. His 'cutie mark' is old scripture of his birthname, it melds in with his scars 2. May have been a misclick/typo, they're all unicorns XD 3. Happy wouldn't be the right word, it's mostly just shades of gray when it comes to emotions. That being said, he DOES smile from time to time, but rarely out of pure happiness. 4. The scars were a byproduct of the extensive experiments that were run on all three of them. I'm glad you found it interesting, and feel free to message me about that possible Roleplay if you ever feel the desire. ^^

Shame replied to Standard User's topic in Everfree Planning, OOC & Discussion
I'm not too fond of early roleplays, I put myself into my usual position of needing to be prompted, so I am ready and able to wait until I'm needed, no rush. All that means is I won't post until I'm prompted, so feel free to prompt me if it helps move the RP along. I love that word. Prompt Prompt. Promptity prompt prompt. -
http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/shame-r3387 Do your worst! No, really, I'm genuinely curious... Oh, and be forewarned, I had a lot to say about his history, I even felt that it wasn't enough...

Alistar sat before the fire in a ball, eyes fixed on the twisting and winding licks of flame that creep into the night sky. The idea sat in his mind like a stagnant puddle in a rainforest, he was not sure what to think of it. His ear twitched subtly as the wood popped, tossing a few cinders out and towards him. He curls up tighter. 'A safe haven could be nice...' A massive striped paw stamps into the water suddenly, a striking thought hitting him and lingering. 'What if it isn't safe though... What if it's TOO safe...' He looks up to the flames, gentle yet powerful, wise yet silent. He searches through the light and heat for an answer that doesn't seem to come. A soft sigh is all he has to offer to the ponies around the fire before retrieving a massive book from his saddlebags and opening it to a bookmark, attempting to drown out the thoughts. (I never seem to have anything to offer early in RPs )

Luscious takes a faltering step back, his eyes taking a soft, worried gaze. Luscious was not fond of the topic of death, despite his job and abilities, but deep in his blacked heart there was a subtle clench at the thought of the boss dying, his savior. He recuperates from the words and cycles them back through his mind, looking over to Neon with a slightly more stern look, his discontent with her being named queen buried deep as he could keep it, it was not something he should bring up, it was Royal's wish.
-
He... He's dead, Jim... No but really, are we packing up and shutting the lights off or was there a sudden time vortex into which all of the Roleplayers on this particular thread vanished?
-
Luscious followed without a word, as was common. Upon entering the room, he steps beside his boss' desk, a bit curious as to what words will follow. Sitting still as a statue, he watches Neon enter with a completely detached expression, the thought of an 'HR meeting' crossing his mind that caused him to roll his eyes once he had diverted his gaze

It's fine and all, I really don't want to pitch myself to be rude or anything, but it just saddens me to see how much disrespect goes off between selfish roleplayers. Not to call you one as you are most certainly not but I've dealt with quite a few and I'd like to prevent it from now on. All in all, a simple misunderstanding and I'm sorry to act so sternly, I'm really not that kinda guy...
-
Really PinkieShy? REALLY? I'm trying so hard over here, that's a bit childish don't you think!? It's fine to give a first impression to a boss that could attract respect, but denying every single little thing your higher ups tell you to do unless you want to is downright childish. Show at least some kind of response before you push Luscious over his bounds! He's already attempted to dispose of Neon, but Royal stopped him. Keep pushing his buttons and you're likely to wind up in a dumpster somewhere without Royal even knowing! C'mon here, you're killing my fun, I just want to add some form of motive for people to reply that doesn't include spitting in my character's face, twice...

As soon as the mop hit the ground, the piercing gaze of the mute feel upon Neon's eyes. It faded quickly though from a threat to a sincere look of disappointment, the denial of a direct order was something Luscious would never dream of doing. But this mare listened to not a soul who told her what she didn't want to hear. Luscious sighs softly and shakes his head, attempting to dislodge the thought as well as convey his disappointment with his lack of words.
-
Luscious returned promptly with a large black body bag and a mop and bucket. He opens the bag and gently lays the corpse into it, zipping it up and standing back above it. The mute takes a moment to clear his mind before handing the cleaning supplies to Neon in a commanding fashion. He lifts the bag onto his back and exits the room, stowing the body before returning to the table, using the same rag from his blade to clean his bloodied hooves.
-
Luscious nodded to his boss, drawing a curved blade from beneath his wing, stepping to Steel and placing a hoof on his chin, lifting it up and exposing his weak point. Luscious places the blade gently against the soft hide and looks back to Royal as though confirming the order. He nods and returns his gaze to Steel, locking eyes and gently guiding the fine point home, sliding the blade through thick arteries and effortlessly cutting off the flow of life to the poor stallion's brain. He steps back as the blood flows free from it's containment and the color fades from the pony's hide. Luscious clears his throat as he cleans the blade and then turns to Royal, nodding once again, and making his way to gather cleaning supplies.
-
Luscious looked to the others, silently pitching himself as an idea. He looks back to Steel and lets his expression fall blank, medical school diagrams of anatomy and coroner's preparations running through his mind, the lines practically drawing themselves across Steel's coat. He locked eyes with the traitor and a flicker of life passed behind his own. A previously unheard of feeling washed over his mind and he felt hopeful for the first time in ages.
-
Luscious was struck by the bizarre order, dropping the cloth and making his way around the counter, stepping up to Royal and laying a hoof on his shoulder. As he drew his boss' attention, he met his eyes with a look imploring the stallion to reconsider. A bonfire of money was not something they could afford, it was not something Luscious was hoping to do. His eyes pleaded where his words could not and his mind yelled at the stallion where he could not. Betraying an order was not something Luscious did, he would have to take it back, he would have to.

ooc [OOC] Into the Wasteland
Shame replied to Standard User's topic in Everfree Planning, OOC & Discussion
Hmm... Black. Player Name: Shame Character Name: Alistar 'Ziggs' Kretz (He HATES when people call him Ziggs!) Race: Unicorn Gender: Male Age: 12 (Human years) Physical description: He's just a kid. You know, nothing special. Average height for his age and the like. Let's do it like this: Mane/Tail: Dull yellow with a red orange streak through his mane Cutie mark (if applicable): A caduceus on a red cross. Personality: A bit reserved at times, Alistar tends to let people speak before him, not wanting to interrupt. He is full of random information and tends to speak of things that he knows won't interest people, but simply because he knows and wants people to know he knows. Although he was born outside a vault he has little to show for experience with the horrors of the new world, only hearing stories of things such as radiated creatures and stallions in metal armor. Easily spooked, easily embarrassed, easily frustrated. He's a kid. Occupation: Previously worked as a buscolt in a cantina located somewhere between sand and a cactus. Family/Hometown/”Childhood”: Alistar was raised in a saloon in the middle of the desert called 'Lady Luck' by a mare named Rusty. He always called her 'mom', and never quite knew her full name. She owned the place and he grew up never leaving it's walls, of course until one fateful day... Brief backstory: Alistar was abandoned as an infant on the doorstep of a western saloon with nothing but the word 'Ziggs' written on the delivery box he was found in. Rusty, the mare who found him, took him in and raised him like one of her own. He was obviously an only child and he was obviously very bored. To entertain him while she worked, Rusty gave little Alistar stacks of books she had gathered over time and he began to read. Oh he read, and read, and read until he found a pattern. Oh how he loved the books about medicine, they entertained him. He would clear them in a day, massive medical dictionaries and study books. He would practice on wounded ponies who entered the saloon and became very good at what he did. His mother gave him a small allowance in exchange for working in the saloon and he began to buy books from travelers, medical instruments and scraps. He made a name for the Lucky Lady. A name that hit the ears of a few bandits looking for a fix. One night, they raided that saloon and slaughtered Rusty, tearing the building apart and taking every ounce of anything that had a price, everything but Alistar's stash. When he awoke the next morning to find the nightmare that had interrupted his life he grabbed what he could and ran. He ran for miles before collapsing in exhaustion, just outside a lonely city on the sands. Strength: 2 Perception: 7 Endurance: 2 Charisma: 5 Intelligence: 10 Agility: 7 Luck: 7 Perks/Abilities: Other: Inventory: A beat-up medical case containing: A scalpel, surgical scissors, 3 rolls of guaze, a bottle of rubbing alcohol, a bottle of hemostat, forceps, a surgeon's needle and thread, a tourniquet, and a flask of whiskey. He also carries around two relatively large books on medicine, the important ones. -
Across the room, Luscious stood behind a counter, dressup consisting of nothing but his pinstripe vest. He watches intently as the conversation is had, carefully cleaning his hooves with a rag. As Steel pitches his desire to be shot, Luscious cannot help but laugh silently, exhaling sharply through his nostrils as he looks down to his blade, a very heavy set foreign blade that the dealer referred to as a 'kukiri'. He runs the rag up and down the shining metal, clearing it of any debris or blood, preparing it for when it may be used next. His ears remained tuned to the conversation happening before him, but attention is placed on his weapon. Maybe Steel might be able to properly christen it...
-
Luscious shook his head as Royal gave him the order, not to decline, but simply for the fact that he had no desire to bring this sack of bricks back to the base. Being his job and all, Luscious stepped over to the side and let his head beneath Steel, lifting him onto his back. He straightens himself up beneath the burden and shifts slightly before turning and making his way towards the way they came in.
-
Luscious watched tiredly as the unicorn bolted past him, knowing what the boss had asked of his assistant. The mute made a slow pursuit, stepping up next to him as he finished delivering threats. Luscious sets his pastern upon the enraged stallion's chest, guiding him back with a gentle but loomingly powerful pressure. He allows Steel to stand, keeping himself between the two, allowing Steel a bit of a retort. He gave a look to Anarchy that would cause many to tremble in their hooves, declaring this kill for himself.

I finally fixed my record player! Now nobody in my house may ignore Sinatra!!! *Evil Laugh*
-
Luscious smirked as the boss left the room. 'He's still got it...' He thought to himself, turning and striding over to a footlocker in the corner of the room, producing a key and unlocking said box. He removes a set of very ornate silver knives, presumably for throwing. He retrieves two identical balisongs and conceals them. Before closing the locker, he grabs a blood red cloth, a bandana. He ties it in a bandit-esque, identity concealing fashion, pulling it down so it sits less threateningly around his neck. He clears his throat, fixes his fedora and makes follows up after the group, locking the door behind him, catching up before anyone would notice his absence.

*Checks pulse* He's... Dead, Jim... No but in honesty, what did I miss? Are people just losing interest? I don't want this RP to die! D:
