So, I made this thingie. I lack money to get FL Studio, and even if I did, I have no music ability or any creativity to make music. So I want to take a stab at Vaporwave. Not to discredit vaporwave, it's just more accessible to me. Not sure if I'll make more, but it's a start.

So I went to Daytona to see the Coke Zero 400 Nascar race, and it was so fun, even with the rain delay. :3

A lot better than last year when it got pushed back a day and it still got rained out. This years race didn't start until 11:30 pm and ended at 3 am the next morning >.>

However, there was a nasty accident on the last lap at the start/finish line, the #11 of Dennt Hamlin gets pushed by the #4 of Kevin Harvick, Hamlin spins out and the #3 of Austin Dillion hits Denny at a weird angle and soars over two rows of cars and crashes into the catchfence. Austin's car goes from 200 mph to zero in a instant. What's worse, behind them, the #2 of Brad Keslowski spins out and slides into Austin's car. Luckily, Austin was able to walk away from the crash with just a bruised tailbone.

    Some pics I took:

Cole Whitt's #35 Speed Stick Ford

A ferris wheel that Toyota had. I didn't take a pic of it, but NBC had bumper cars as well

Carl Edwards' #19 Arris Toyota. Oddly enough, he didn't run this scheme at this race. He ran the Subway car instead.

    Aric Almirola's #43 Smithfield Ford

    Casey Mears' #13 Geico Chevy

David Gilliland's #38 Florida Lottery Ford. Also my current avatar. ^^ But I think it's bad luck because he spun out on lap 3 and got hit by the #32 of Bobby Labonte. :/

Xfinity driver Ross Castain. He signed a can of Flex-Seal for me. ^^

Brad Keslowski's #2 Miller Lite Ford. He ran the Alliance Truck Parts car for this race.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr's #17 Fastenal Ford. He ran the Fifth Third Bank scheme for the race.

    Joey Logano's #22 Shell/Pennzoil Ford

    Greg Biffle's #16 Cheez-It Ford

A view of the track ^^

I am going to start a metal blog where I just list some really great tracks. I listen to a lot of technical/brutal death metal, so don't expect to see anything from Metallica or stuff like that lol.

    Dying Fetus- Homicidal Retribution

This track is what rally first got me into the whole tech death/brutal metal genre. I remember I was actually looking up Job for a Cowboy to see how bad they really are and this was in the suggestions and I never looked back. :3

    Death- The Philosopher

The title of this song was actually my first username on the forums. I couldn't think of anything clever, so I decided to use the title lol

Decrepit Birth- (A Departure of the Sun) Ignite the Tesla Coil

One of my favorite tech death bands. Really mesmerizing and easy to get lost in

    Origin- Reciprocal

Another one of my favorite tech death bands, this song is killer, especially near the end

Rings of Saturn- Objective to Harvest

A lot of people don't like RoS, but I really dig their style. I really like the new album

Terry Labonte's #32 C&J Energy Sevices Ford- used in the May race at Talladega, which would be his final Sprint Cup start. His paint scheme is the same one that was used on the #5 Kellogg's Chevy he won the championship in 1996

    Dying Fetus- Descend Into Depravity

Dying Fetus was the first band to get me into the whole tech death scene. Their first albums were really brutal, but over time, they evolved their technical elements overtime, providing a wonderful balance between brutal and technical. This album, out of all of them except the last one, Reign Supreme, is the best lineup they ever had. John Gallagher may be the only original member, but that doesn't matter. Just the band being a three-piece with Sean Beasley on bass and Trey Williams on drums is just perfection.

Fave Songs: Your Treachery Will Die With You, Shepherd's Commandment, Descend Into Depravity

    Death- Individual Thought Patterns

    https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-EF8hmawMU4

It was tough to pick which Death album I wanted to put on here. All of them are really great. But I chose Individual because they continued to improve on the progressive/technical elements after Human. This album is just a rush of brilliance, and many albums don't really make you "think" about the lyrics. This was the best direction that Death was going in.

Fave Songs: Nothing Is Everything, Mentally Blind, The Philosopher (these were also my usernames on here

    - Dethklok: The Dethalbum II

Right off the bat with something that could make me lose my metal badge, I've loved Dethklok since the beginning. The first album was great, but you could tell that productions wasn't up to snuff. But it had soul and passion, and the second album just expands on that 10-fold. Almost every song on there gave me goosebumps and they really upped the ante on this. Gene Hoglan is a goddamn beast on this album. The whole album just sound coherent and precise, it's so amazing. The third one was great too, but it didn't hold up to the second album.

Fav Songs: I Taper With the Evidence at the Murder Site of Odin, Laser Cannon Deth Sentence, Symmerty

    Brain Drill- Beyond Bludgeoned

Another case of pure technical greatness.

    The Faceless- The Eidolon Reality

A lot of people didn't really like Autotheism, but I enjoyed it.

    Suffocation- Funeral Inception

One of the best brutal death bands out there, they have proved their legacy.

    Skinless- Overlord

This album was I think their best album they put out. Side note, the vocalist for Skinless is now also the vocalist for Origin's album Ommipresent, which I wasn't a fan of

Defeated Sanity- Fatal Self Inflicted Disfigurement

This is one of those bands that combine typical grindcore with technical brutality.
  9. NothingIsEverything
    Viremia- Cancrum Oris

Really pure brutal tech death, it's just a shame that the band broke up. :c

    Necrophagist- Fermented Offal Discharge

I consider Necrophagist one of the forerunners of the tech death genre, it's again a shame that they are pretty much inactive anymore. :c

Cattle Decapitation- The Gardeners of Eden

One of Cattle's lyrical themes is anti-humanity, and I am pretty much am anti-human as well (to a extent lol)

    Nile- The Essential Salts

Nile is a pretty great tech death band without really abusing the technicality aspect of the music (eg, Brain Drill, Viraemia, ect)

    Neuraxis- ...Of Divinity

This song just hits you in the face right off the bat. IMO some of Neuraxis' later songs weren't that great, so this is a great throwback to the old days lol
