    Phasmophobia with my brother, and MiSide for myself. I actually remember seeing that game somewhere like, years? months? ago, but I completely forgot about it until I saw the Markiplier thumbnail in my notifications recently and had that classic "ohhh yeeaahh, I remember that" reaction. Really good game, eager to play more.

    I've come to the realisation that "2D story-based indie games" might actually be one of my favourite game genres. Historically if you asked me what my favourite genre is, I'd default to something like "sandbox" or "strategy", but when I actually go and look at some of my favourite games in recent years, I can't help but notice that a decent portion of them fall into that 2D indie game archetype.

    The First Descendant, after I spent about 5 combined hours figuring out why my game was freezing on startup, why EAC was complaining, and then battling my social anxiety demons, I finally actually started playing the darn game, and you know what? I enjoyed it. It was fun, and I intend to play more. =w=

    Nervouscited about my new CPU. I've built a number of PCs in my time, even gone through several GPU upgrades, but I've never once upgraded a CPU and did the whole thermal paste thing, so hopefully I don't end up somehow nuking my computer and burning my house down. <.<

    The person running this game server needs to stop making random changes/additions on a whim and complicating things, especially when many of the people they invited to play are newbies who have never touched the game before. Sure it's a small-ish private server and I get they're probably just excited and all, but sheesh. <.<

    Part of me wants to say 0/10 but I feel that's a bit dramatic considering nothing particularly bad happened to me this year... well, nothing really happened at all to be honest, but it could be worse. <.< I'll go with a 5/10 I guess. Just average.
