    Thanks for the reply, daflyinskwirl. I think those just might help a bit in my battle against my father... Espiecially the Patrick Stewart bit. That'll certainly get me somewhere if he decides to say crap again.

    Well, some evil pony might "magically put him back together" with bad intent, thinking Sombra will obey him since he put him back together, but then Sombra betrays him and does, well, whatever evil stuff Sombra would do.

    Well, seeing as they don't generally "kill" the villians, they reform, seal away, or expell them from their lands, Sombra has a potential shot as coming back, but has just the same chance as Chrysalis or Discord (Though Discord already got 3 episodes).

    I agree, that did make him better than most, but there was no INSIGHT into what he wanted to do, exactly. I mean, we know he wanted to take over everything, but why? Why didn't he give some sort of evil speech, or at least a villian song? That would have made things so much more interesting.

    I'd say unicorn, because I canrelate to unicorns more, with all their intricities and large, articulate vocabulary. I'm not saying I'm a TOTAL grammar freak or OCD maniac, but I just don't like things to be be... you know, messy.

    I'd have to say octavia, because I always think in my mind that Class always is better than swagger. This might be more on the fact that I listen to classical music, I was raised that way, but this is just my opinion.

    Yeah, I'd think that it'd be a unicorn, had they had a baby at all. But I think it'd make a nice episode, as long as it doesn't just go crazy like the Cake Twins (too predictable). However, do we know that ALL alicorns become alicons through transformation? If this is so, couldn't they make a few more backstory episodes supporting how Celestia/Luna/Cadence became alicorns? They did the same with the Mane 6 getting their cutie marks. All in all, this would make a nice episode, and probably an interesting character in the future (And I just love seeing the little foals in the show. They're so adorable!).

    As for the mane 6 char: Twilight, because I can relate to her the most. If I were a pony, I'd probably be a unicorn anyway, (Which, inciendially, is my OC anyway), I love books, all that fun scientific stuff. As for the side pony, I had a hard choice with this one, but background pony was absolutely Doctor Whooves. It was that or Octavia, as I love classical music and things of the sort. Side note: As for the musical ponies, I find Vinyl/DJ Pon-3 intrigueing, but in my mind class always beats swagger, whcih is why I like Octavia more than than Vinyl.

    Thanks for all the help, and I actually got him to watch about half of "Return of Harmony, part 1", so I'm glad he's (somewhat) giving this a chance. I know most of you said to leave it alone and don't being it up, but I felt it best to do this - but considering he'd be "embarassed" at liking this stuff, I think I'm just aiming for him to accept it, not go crazy and buy a bunch of shirts and take me to BronyCon. Thank you all for offering you help and support, and giving me a warm welcome into the forums! EDIT: Also, my father's a Trekkie, so that's why I tried to ease him into it using an episode with John de Lancie.

    Thanks for your response, I'll try to keep it quiet, but considering I got my mother, who is willing to accept what her son likes and dislikes, kind of let me buy some brony t-shirts... and I'm not just gonna let 50$ go to waste.

    Ever since my father found out about me being a brony, he's been ridiculing me, making fun of me, even going far enoughto yell at me and make statements like "I'm embarassed that you would like something like that". Some of his little "jokes", or as some call them, Hurtful Insults, include some of the following, not counting the fact that he thinks I'm a homosexual. -"Here, I'll ask mom to buy a rainbow leotard for you to watch it in!" -"Why don't I get some tights for you too?" Why he hates ponies so much, I don't know. I tried to convince him FiM is not like previous pony generations which drift more to the girly stereotype, but he won't listen to me, and won't even give the show a chance. I have no idea what to do, how to fix this, and get him to accept that I have my own likes and dislikes, and so does he. My question to all of you is: How do I fix this? What do I say to him, and what should he be doing in this situation?
