Dusting out my laptop doesn't seem to have made the fan quieter. I was wondering if my fan was defective but then I remembered... defective fans aren't as efficient when cooling down a system. Right now my temps are hovering around 35°C.

1. Take a can of compressed air
2. Open up the bottom panel of your laptop
3. Spray the air at the fan until all the dust comes off
4. ???
5. PROFIT!

I thought you shouldn't use canned air of any kind when dusting your PC?
I've been using compressed air for a while now. It helps a lot.
