  1. For me, I always view the age cut off as 13. IIRC, the target age group for the show is supposed to be 4-12, with family in mind. I view as anybody who watches the show 13+ as entering the Brony age group ice the have left the target age group.
  2. 5 feet 10 inches and I shift around 200 pounds. Yeah, a little chubby, I know, but at least I try to still eat healthy. It's not like I'm morbidly obese.
  3. At 3am this morning I got Dies Irae randomly stuck in my head. The weirdest part, was that it got in there because I was trying to think of which movie I had heard it in, and it was X2: X-Men United. At 3am this morning I got Dies Irae randomly stuck in my head. 4. 1. After hyperventilating, I would of course say: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Q93TnzVZw4k&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DQ93TnzVZw4k 2. I'd take Rainbow Dash out to her favorite restaurant for lunch! We'd laugh the afternoon away and gorge ourselves. After I pay the tab, we head out to have a friendly game of hoofball or something. 3. At the end, I'd ask her if she had a fun time, and tell her I'd love to have another date with her. I'd give her a peck on the cheek, and then hyperventilate after she left.
  5. Dinosaurs! Lots and lots of Dinosaurs! And Star Wars, too! I was always outside a lot, even in the winter, hanging around with my friends.
  6. I'd probably collapse to my knees with tears of pure joy in my eyes while Rainbow Dash looked at me like I had lost my mind. Then I'd hug her, which would make things a bit awkward at first, but hopefully she'd understand once I poured my heart out to her.
  7. Wings. Although both are usually modified anterior limb girdles, flippers, more often than not, either include the posterior limb girdle, or even do away with it entirely, making them adaptable for aquatic or semi-aquatic habitation only. Wings usually only encompass the arms. And, depending on their structure, can be incredibly prehensile. The infant Hoatzin, for example, has grasping ability with it's first and second phalanges. These fingers then regress as the animal matures, and they shrink into small nubs that do not inhibit flight. Other modern birds have likewise been observed with such appendages, including owls, emus/ostriches/cassowaries, and parrots. Bats, on the other *hand* (pun intended ) have fully developed use of their wings. The wings of a bat are more versatile, capable of grasping most surfaces regardless of the angle.
  8. Luna should have a bat. They're nocturnal and fuzzy and incredibly misunderstood mammals. Chrysalis? A Praying Mantis. 'Nuf said.
  9. Twilight Sparkle- Cobra. Cobras have been regarded as mystical symbols by many many cultures, and well there's magical Twilight. Applejack: Boa constrictor. Constrictors are some of the strongest snakes, and Applejack is very strong. Rainbow Dash: Golden Tree Snake Rarity: Diamondback Rattlesnake. Rattles tend to be a bit melodramatic, and will shake their rattle at just about anything, whether it's potentially dangerous or not. Fluttershy: Boomslang. Boomslangs are some of the most timid snakes out there. Pinkie Pie: Corn snake. Corn snakes are generally rather playful.
  10. I had wanted to be a vertebrate paleontologist since i was three, and I even went to college for it for a year and a half. Sadly, that dream was crushed when I realized just how bad I am at math. I've since dropped out of Augustana College for favor of working on a journalism degree, specifically science or film. Strange combos, I know, but that's what you get when you're a Jurassic Park fanatic.
  11. Either oxygen loss, or being eaten. As humans,we like to think of ourselves as untouchable, top of the food chain, the apex/dominate predator of this planet. But when we find ourselves on the menu, the realization (as in our last thought) that we are nothing but a food item, can be terrifying.
  12. Usually it is between 2 and 4 in the morning. I am too busy on this and other forums to deal with sleep. I then usually sleep until 9 am. I mean, who needs sleep?
  13. Anne Hathaway Zoe Saldana Both are very attractive and and beautiful women. A few more words to make the post interesting
  14. I try to watch it every early afternoon on the Hub. But, I am not above clicking on a pony video on YouTube during my downtime when I'm bored.
  15. The Ancient Castle of the Royal Pony Sisters. I can't wait to see it intact in Season 4! I'm also betting the Everfree Forest used to be called "Everfree" for a reason, and back in the day, it wasn't filled with as many horrid creatures.
  16. Cloudsdale! I love the Ancient Greecian influence behind the architecture, and I seriously hope that we will get to see more of it in season 4!
  17. ^Ooo! That reminds me! I love the smell of gummy candy!!! It has such s fruity smell that always makes me salivate. I love it more than any other fruity smell.
  18. Eh, not especially. I would imagine Rainbow Dash has a fangirl crush on Soarin, but I always imagined Soarin as a few years older than Dash, and therefore more mature. Also, SoarinFire is much better ship!
  19. Let's see... -The fresh scent after a rainfall -Morning in the mountains -meat sizzling on an applewood fire grill -fresh baked bread -the gunpowder in fireworks -pinewood burning in a fireplace on a snowy winter day.
  20. I feel like the series would have ended on both a high and low note. High because of how fun the episode was with the musicals and Twilight becoming a princess and all, but low because ending at that point would have been such s waste of potential.
  21. Huh, coulda sworn I posted in this already. Anyway, I got converted back on the Jurassic Park Legacy forums back around Halloween of 2011. It all started from my natural curiosity about what about this show could possibly be so interesting that people had pony avatar on a Jurassic Park forum. And, of course, I had my reservations considering I was an 18yo dude at the time. One day I ran across a vid titled "Rainbow Dash - You're Gonna Go Far Kid", and I was immediately intrigued by this colorful pony speeding around like she was an F-18. I HAD to watch another pony clip! Then another! And another! And soon I realized I had spent an entire Saturday viewing pony clips! I was a brony!
  22. Swanlestia from the series premiere when Luna hugs her (and Kuna's horn simultainously phases through Celestia's neck). I notice it everytime. I haven't noticed almost any of the ones mentioned so far. Some of them are downright scary! 0.0
  23. Just watched Life of Pi. The story was decent, but the effects seemed unnecessarily flashy. It was Castaway X Forest Gump on a bloated special effects budget. I'm quite certain the story could have been positively brilliant if it hadn't been so overshadowed by the effects.
  24. And friend and myself at Chicago Comic Con a few weekends ago (I'm on the left). It was actually my third friend's (the one taking the picture) idea to stick Rainbow Dash on the flyer, since our forum is so pony friendly, considering we're the largest and longest operating Jurassic Park forum out there Worse for my friend in the picture; he's not a brony, I am.
