  1. Why do I get so many right-wing advertisements? I'm a left-winger, I don't want to get rid of sanctuary cities.

  2. Why do I get so many right-wing advertisements? I'm a left-winger, I don't want to get rid of shield cities.

  3. @@Illiad Easle, @@Acnologia, "This man stole my friend's coinpurse," Allendune said as Jack skipped his way over to the three. The man in question quickly returned the coinpurse to Jack, who started waving his finger in the man's face. "Now, now, didn't your mother ever tell you not to steal?" Allendune promptly set the thief down, "Go on then, get out of here before I change my mind on what to do with you." The two turned to face the Black Knight. "I'm Allendune," "And I'm Jack." "At your service," the last part said in unison and with a bow from each of them.
  4. Jack was dealing with a merchant, and as he went to grab his coin purse he noticed it was gone. "Hey Allendune, my coi- Allendune?" Allendune had already laid his eyes on the thief, nothing special about him, just some man. Allendune grabbed the man by the back of his shirt and held him up. "I'll be taking that coinpurse back, thank you very much." If no one had been paying attention to them before, they would be now.
  5. Allendune and Jack had made their way into the market. They truly stood out from the crowd, Jack dressed in his very bright jester's attire and his mask, similar in style to those made in Venice, and the behemoth of a man that Allendune was, they truly were out of the ordinary, the fact that the two were together made it seem all the more odd. "Let's just get the food and go," Allendune said gruffly. "Why don't we pick up something for our friend? He likes to read, perhaps we should pick up a book?" Jack said, as though they had nothing important to do, which was partially true. It would be better if they went unnoticed, perhaps.
  6. Meanwhile, in the forest outside of town, a young man was playing fetch with a pack of rather large wolves, each about the size of a horse. These were not ordinary wolves, but dire wolves, vicious creatures with little to no regard as to what they hunt. Why they were playing fetch with a human was beyond anyone's guess. Allendune and Jack began heading towards the market to pick up food, then they would continue their travels to various rebellion locations, as well as visiting the Vilum and Maegon to spread political discourse regarding their own kingdom. Maegon and Vilum had already created an alliance, and both distrusted Idalum for very understandable reasons.
  7. (OOC: https://mlpforums.com/topic/152412-fantasy-rp/) "Is this your card?" the small gathering of children and their parents couldn't help but awe, for the card was indeed the boy's chosen 7 of Diamonds. The crowd clapped and the magician bowed, the bells on his jester's hat jingling. "Now for my next trick..." he began, when the behemoth of a man next to him glowered down at him. "Oh, I do apologize, my companion is getting a bit impatient. Don't worry, folks, we'll be back through this town again one day, I'm sure of it!" he said as he packed up his things into a briefcase that seemed far too small to hold everything, yet it fit perfectly. "Did you see them Ally? They loved me!" "Jack, don't call me that, please, and they ALWAYS love you, you're a magician and a jester, who doesn't love either?" the behemoth replied. "How much did we make today, anyways?" The jester started looking through his coin purse "About 30 gold pieces, enough for a week's rations!" "Good to hear, the next town is quite a ways away, we need all the food we can get." "I hope... he is doing alright, he gets nervous when we leave, you know."
  8. Now that school's out, I'm back!

  9. So to everyone I'm RPing with right now I'd like to apologize, my anxiety and depression have been really bad lately and I've let a lot of work pile up that I need to do, so I probably won't be on the forums much for a while.

  10. @@Blitz Boom, Xander was walking about his house, trying to find his shopping list. He lifted various boxes and papers until he finally found it underneath the papers strewn about his desk. Upon retrieving the shopping list, he started heading back to the front door to meet back up with Jelly.
  11. After Estiel had made his way out of the arena, he maneuvered his way through the crowd, scanning for any signs of an exit. Much to his dismay, there were none in sight, even with his height advantage. He then decided that he would just make his way to the edge of the crowd, avoid being surrounded.
  12. @@Redeye, With a stoic expression, Estiel looked towards the general with a piercing gaze, the eyes of a man who wasn't all there staring into Wulfric's soul, as though it would pry from him both his darkest secrets and most treasured memories before bowing. After a moment, he rose and walked towards the exit, knowing he would need time to meditate to avoid further falling into the dark abyss of his mind that reveled in bloodshed.
  13. @@Blitz Boom, "As I said, I don't really get out much, and I don't know many ponies around here, but I'll do what I can to help you out. I could probably use some sunshine anyways, and now that I think about it, I'm probably pretty low on food. Give me a moment, would you?" Xander said as he returned into his house to get some bits for shopping, leaving the door partially open.
  14. @@Redeye, Estiel grunted, but used the attack to his advantage. He grabbed the boar and stabbed one of his sai into the boar and wrapped it around its neck, attempting to choke the life out of the creature. For good measure, he stabbed his other sai into the middle of the boar's head.
  15. @@Redeye, "I'm sorry..." Estiel muttered, remarking upon the fact that the creature was once human. Upon saying this, he lifted his arms up. He then slammed his left foot forward and swung his arms downward until they pointed at the boar. From under his robes two sai emerged, flying towards the boar at breakneck speed, a chain trailing behind each of them, apparently attached to or wrapped around Estiel's arms.
  16. @@Blitz Boom, "Look, I'm uhhh... I'm really sorry that I don't know where you're father is. I'm not much one for getting out, see. Only on business such as shopping for food or baubles, the occasional expedition through the Everfree and other surrounding forests, or when fixing things for other ponies, nothing social. I'm sorry to say that I've never run into a bat pony on any of these, truly I am," Xander said to Jelly Drop. "I'll gladly help you in someway if you'd like."
  17. @@Redeye, 'Thank the gods...' Estiel thought, wanting out of the crowd ASAP. He started moving through the crowd at a much faster pace. Upon reaching the arena, Estiel looked around the crowd, there were still so many people and so much noise, but at least he had room to breathe now. He looked towards the king and the lieutenants and bowed. His face was invisible to all, covered with the shadow from his hood.
  18. So I have the "Unexpected Cena" addon for Chrome and I clicked it like 250 times, and now I've just got "JOHN CENA" scrolling across my screen every half a second, about a minute after I stopped clicking it...

It's not, it sends the words "JOHN CENA" across the screen when you click it, as well as playing part of his theme song.

Great idea for a browser addon!

  19. Estiel walked through the crowd, people parting as he did. Though unarmed, he still appeared threatening, likely owing to his tall and lanky stature to that. It appeared... unnatural. Estiel was thankful for this however, he never did well in crowds. Too many faces, too much noise, too much information to process, though Estiel had never seen, let alone been in a crowd as large as this one. He'd never been to the capital, and he wanted to leave. There were so many sights, sounds, and smells. Too many. 'No,' Estiel thought. 'I can't break down here, not with this many people watching, not with the initiation coming up...' Estiel soldiered on, making his way ever forward towards the king, knowing that the crowd would only get more compact the closer he got.
  20. @@Blitz Boom, With a sigh of relief, Alexander replied "The name is Alexander Thaddeus Tinker, though my friends call me Xander," he paused. "Well, they would if I had any," he added casually, as if there wasn't anything weird about not having friends. "As for this 'Stargazer' fellow, I'm afraid I've never heard of him, though I don't know many people around town."
  21. I can't remember how to add images to the "About Me" section without using a URL...

I've been trying to find out how to do that as well so if someone tells you, let me know xD

  22. Time to overhaul my "About Me" section...

  23. Nintendo of America is not its own company, rather a subsidiary. Nintendo itself is based in Japan, which also leaves it off of most, if not all of the American stock market. As for the hyperbole, I really just wanted to inform.
  24. Nintendo is not, and could not be, a Fortune 500 company, as one of the requirements is that it's a US company. Anyways... This is a tough issue, as many people nowadays (especially when the electronics industry is involved) instantly assume that it's a "boy who cried wolf," while, conversely, many people assume it to be completely true. As the above stated, discrimination is still a thing, it happens to most everyone. However, discrimination in "Silicon Valley" and in other areas of the electronics industry is very lopsided towards women in particular, with studies showing 60% of women working in Silicon Valley claiming to have been sexually harassed as of January 2016, and 90% experience sexist behavior from other company employees. Granted, Silicon Valley is a pretty terrible place to work altogether right now. Regardless of who is calling foul, it is important, in any case, not to let past judgments and other outstanding biases cloud one's mind and to focus on what is known in that particular case. I, personally, support Nintendo in firing her. A person with the position she had needs to be well-liked by the consumer base.
