I think the reason why you're not getting a whole lot of replies here is because (a) you've got a basic pony creator design so there's not much to say design-wise and ( b ) your colors work pretty well together even though they're not entirely complementary.

 

This isn't a bad thing, it means that from what you've shown us here, your OC is pretty much okay as is and there's not much to comment intelligently on.  Are you planning on doing additional artwork?  Is she going to be in an ask blog or is this concept art for a fic?  What is her special talent supposed to be?

Obviously, I plan on getting additional artwork, and she's probably going to be a part of a fic. Her cutie mark represent, wel... a tempest, so I'm thinking of something related to weather.

Obviously this is a rather basic pony-creator (not General Zoi's, luckily :L) design, I was just only curious what others thought of the colours, because that's really the only advice I am needing right now.

But I wouldn't say that the 'Humans' in EQG are really 'Human'!

True to a certain degree, but even sources like the Wiki say that it's a ''human'' form, and not anthro. Their feet aren't actually hooves like in most Anthro art. The only real with humans is the varying skin colours and their creepy, made for toys models.

I actually quite like the idea of humans in Equestria, it's just that execution is beyond terrible most of the time. I don't really see humans fitting with the animation of the show itself, either. I didn't like Equestria Girls. Not because it's humans, but because it's a badly written story with an even shittier setting. Also, I really didn't like the designs.

I don't know, it could fit well, but I think that it would visually not fit too well together, at least for me.

Even though I like to think that EQG isn't canon.

I think there was a version between Generation 3 and Newborn Cu(n)ties. I don't know it's name, but AFAIK it's like the original Generation 3, but the ponies have enlarged heads and smaller bodies, which was referred to as Gen 3.5 Then NC appeared, which people refer to as G3.6. But again, I'm not sure, so don't qoute me on that. Might want to search it up.

But we're totally getting off-topic here. I think RD would probably react in a really surprised manner, asking herself why there is a lighter-coloured clone of herself that talks in Rarity's accent.

None. I don't want to force people to like a show and/or join a fandom. If they want to do so themselves, sure, but I'm not someone to try and get people interested in something - I have done it in the past, and I honestly regret it. It doesn't exactly strenghten my bond with anyone.
