  1. I've been very busy with a lot of IRL trouble, so I don't know how much more I can participate. If needed feel free to just cut me out of the dialogue to advance the story. I'll try to post when possible but I'll probably just switch gears on my character going solo after getting lost in an encounter.
  2. She nodded in response to his question. "Yeah, I'm fine. I took a bit of damage, but its something that one of my healing potions should be able to fix." She uncorked a potion and took a swig. Her health bar promptly filled up. "Much better, don't want the threat of death lingering over my head." She started walking forward for a bit. "So I expect us to spy some treasure soon. We've gotten pretty deep."
  3. Prepared to take down the two enemies in front of her, Truffletop prepared herself. After a moment, she noticed something odd at the side of her screen. After a moment, a third tribal snuck behind the two of them. As it approached Malik, she bashed it back and dashed around it, slicing it as she went. Her attack took out the enemy, her position leading into a quick conflict with one of the last two. She shouted as the fight continued. "The other one is heading your way, Malik!"
  4. Truffletop sliced through another tribesman, getting pit into a corner. "Well, I need a bit of help surviving. This is getting heavy fast." She blocked a few attacks, managing to bash one of the enemies into an unsprung trap with her shield. She got struck from the side, losing a moderate amount of health. She grunted, holding up her shield, making sure not to leave any more openings. "Darn, that one hurt good. I'll be sure not to take another hit."
  5. Truffletop drew back her blade, readying an attack for a tribal approaching her from her left. Another approached from her back side as she turned for that strike, but noticing it she went for a quick shield bash sending one flying into a pitall. She called out to Malik in response. "These things definitely aren't hard... But there's so many of them that they might get overwhelming." The one from in front of her dashed at her for an attack, but a few quick slices brought it down.
  6. Since I've been wanting to play 3DS games anyway and I never wanted to spend 170$ on a console I won't use very much. I might actually consider it.
  7. I'm feeling rather great this evening. Just sitting in my chair very tired listening to music, might play video games with my boyfriend too. Good times.
  8. In response to the situation, Truffletop quickly drew her dagger and shield. She got into a combat stance, trying to keep alert for enemies while looking for pitfalls. A thought occurred to her. What if we used their own traps against them? Suddenly, a monster appeared from her side and she positioned herself between two pitfalls, minding her escape routes.
  9. Truffletop nodded in response to Malik's advice. "Tribal savages eh? Sounds like my type of monsters. They shouldn't be too hard to outsmart. We're just going to have to progress carefully." Taking the lead, Truffletop headed deeper into the forest. Ahead, she could see a straightaway of grass. She walked slowly, noticing something strange. Within a somewhat short range, she noticed some of the pitfalls. "Yup, looks like there's definitely traps around here. We better be careful."
  10. FlutterRainbowJack? Like, probably an even split really. I don't fit the bill close to any of them. I just have a fairly good blend of traits.
  11. Truffletop nodded in response to Malik's first comment. "Yeah, I figure being able to detect danger is going to be crucial as we go on." As they headed into the forest, Truffletop kept thinking to herself. What kinds of monsters might we find in here anyway? Hopefully nothing too dangerous... though we haven't seen anything so far. Hearing a call, she turned to Malik. "Awesome, we got the first chest... though the next one is probably going to be deeper. I'll take the lead since I put a lot of points into my treasure hunting, I might spot something. Are there any dangers I should know of?"
  12. Truffletop flipped her hoof pulling up the menu and flipping to her level up screen. "Let's see... I have a few points here. I think I'll go ahead and dump them all in treasure hunting. It'll be a bit more natural for me that way, hehe. Actually, lets put a point in alertness too. That could be useful."
  13. Yes, though the purpose of it was to change the appearance of the avatars to their real selves. I don't think anyone has an avatar that looks differently than they do... at least not yet. Edit: That reminds me, I wanted to mention earlier that I don't think that skipping floors is a good idea. I feel there's a lot to work with there. You could make up a lot of different level themes. Considering everyone for the most part is going to advance the floors at a similar pace, we could make a lot of unique floors. Maybe locations like "New Canterlot" or such to reflect the Pony world. And unexplored themes like a desert map. Edit2: Another thing I thought of was that Sword Art is a 13 episode anime in its first season and the plotline spans over months going into years. We don't really need to rush through it. After all, I feel that would take out a lot of theme in the roleplay.
  14. Truffletop nodded in response to Malik's comment. "Well, less competition definitely means we'll have some elbow room." Malik described the rewards for the quest he was turning in. Once she got her potions and her new level, she grinned. "Look's like I'm starting to make some progress." Malik then told her the details of the next quest. Listening in, it reminded her of the jobs she used to do back in Equestria. She replied to him confidentally. "Hunting is what I do best. By the time we're done with these chests, this forest will have all its cases cracked!"
  15. Listening to Malik's plan, Truffletop listened for a while, nodding in agreement. She replied, "Yeah, we'll want whatever quests give us the most experience. I didn't really get much of a chance to level yet, I've kind of gotten that one quest from earlier as well as that boar kill."
  16. Truffletop yawned, crawling out of her spot in bed slowly. "Man... I really wish I could get five more minutes... Though adventure waits for nopony... Err, no one." She giggled a bit at her last statement. Making sure she had her equipment ready, she stood up ready to head out.
  17. I have these nice little pairs of briefs that wrap very comfortably around me, and I'd wear them all the time if I could.
  18. I've seen you around here a few times. You seem like a fairly reasonable person.
  19. Well, something that I've learned from my time on the internet is that you are never tied down to any group. If something like staying on this forum is causing you stress and you aren't in contact with anyone who is of interest to you, maybe this place isn't for you. Heck, last forum I left for similar reasons. It was a small forum and I ended up leaving since no one had an interest with associating with me and the people I cared about I already had added. There'd been a lot of struggle with hostility on the forum for a couple weeks before that really and things were just starting to come back together. Still, even based on what I say don't feel like you need to leave. But it is an option. If there's any valid reason for you to stay here, go ahead.
  20. Pony technology seems about all over the place. They have flashlights and toasters but seem to be missing certain things like electrical lights. That of course is assuming my memory is correct. Still, I haven't seen a pony TV yet so I don't think video games are too likely.
  21. AIDS. You knew you'd be having a good time, you didn't know you'd be coming out with something that'd eventually kill you. And you have thoughts of it looming over your head each day up until it gets ya. Personally I don't have any particular way I want to die. I'll let fate pick for me.
  22. If he sucks, MF sucks. Versus other carries he's not weak, but I do kind of agree that he feels lacking. Mainly usability issues. He has a high potential with his damage.
  23. Looking over her shoulder at her armaments, the basic shield and her cheap dagger which were the only two instruments she needed in order to take on the world, she nodded to Malik. "Yeah, I'm ready." She smiled and stuck out her hoof triumphantly. "Lets head out and take on this game!"
  24. One thing I noticed is that since Sword Art Online had skipped a lot of floors between each episode, that and a lot of the content of the world is implied rather than shown, I'm curious how we're going to handle this. After all, Death is a consequence that shouldn't be ignored when handling this roleplay. It's something that adds serious consequences to the decisions of the players. For the most part we've just been fighting low level monsters like boars and making the world as we go, but when we get to unknown floors or are fighting a boss I'm curious how this is going to be handled.
  25. Truffletop paused at that last piece of information. "Years?..." While she wasn't particularly close to them, in that moment she thought about her family in the outside world. She thought about her friends who she had helped over the years. Many memories came flooding to her. She couldn't help but feel the weight of the circumstances in that moment. After a brief moment of thinking things over, she spoke up. "Well, I guess that means we have years of adventures ahead of us, eh?" Her smile in that moment eminated sincerity, though she hid her concern from him. She couldn't help but think if she'd ever make it out of this game... to be able to see the outside world again.
