I think I my schedule is getting a little bit too busy for this RP, so I'm going to withdraw. Sorry :/

When I first found out about tulpae, I did a youtube search with just "tulpa" and I got the same creepypasta . Didn't really help me in any fashion as I was quite full of doubt about tulpa and this is only worsened it XP.

 

However, if you are serious about going into tulpamancy, and by serious I mean truly serious (always take the time to make sure you will be 100% passionate when doing this), then I suggest you head over to the forums at Tulpa.info. That is the main hub for tulpamancers and contains vast amounts of guides, general discussion, and Q/As that can really benefit you and your tulpa. Just make sure to read as many guides as you can as the more you know about tulpa and the guidelines, the easier it'll be to form your own guidelines to aid you in your journey.

Thanks for the links. I'm checking out the site right now and there's a bunch of stuff to go through. Better get reading! It's probably not best to run blindly into something like this, especially if it's as big a commitment as it sounds like.

 

Edit: is there a specific guide that you guys recommend reading and is particularly good?

October Days stumbled out of an alleyway, looking a bit dazed. Ever since she'd arrived in Manehatten she had terrible luck. First getting harassed by some guards about loitering outside the magic store for too long. I was 'window shopping'! If all the big city folk can do it, why can't I? she thought to herself bitterly. And now she was getting ready to sleep in a sketchy alleyway. Maybe if she hadn't spent all that money on that jacket... It was a nice jacket though. She shrugged to herself and continued down the road, her mind clearing up a little bit.

 

Two days in and already homeless? October needed a job. Badly.

Oh jeez, and so it begins...

I think my first experience with this tulpa thing was some creepypasta I read forever ago. I'm going to go ahead and hop in and see what sort of shenanigans I can get up too with my very own tulpa! Anywho, I'm a little lost so far but I'm sure browsing the thread a little more thoroughly will turn something up. And google. Copious amounts of google.

Might as well use my namesake (mane?) OC... Not sure how the whole dark magic thing'll work out, but It'd be easy for me to altogether avoid it. And not sure how the interest in monsters thing could work in a big city like Manehattan, but I'm sure it's got something. Changelings will be around at least.

This one isn't that weird but I used to have this little amethyst stone I always carried with me. And I appear to have misplaced it   I also have a d20 (which I suppose it a little weird?), for luck. Rolled 3 critical hits in a row with that baby   

Well I see this is still open (I think?) and and I do a bit of roleplaying... It'd be my first pony related roleplay, but any chance of me joining in? Not sure what character I'll use yet.

As a society? I'd say there's at least a bit of xenophobia (ie Zecora). And not sure if this counts as a societal thing, but they seem prone to nervous breakdowns.

I'd love to have one done, but I only have two refrence pictures (both from gmod) available and one is October exploding (and hard to see) and the second you can only see her from the front... And my computer with the other pictures is down D: I'll ask my friends if they have any with side views and less explosions.

Equistria Daily has a section called tutorial codex section with links for folks who want to learn how to draw.  I've been thinking of trying that, not sure how good the links are.  That may help.

I've looked through one of the tutorials and I'm gonna give it a try. I'll have a self-drawn avatar by the time the sun sets tomorrow!

I still haven't watched more than 5 minutes of the thing, but I did enjoy the remix quite a bit. Not sure if I like it more or less than the original though...

Those things... The ones with the hands? Oh yeah, humans I try to draw ponies but they alway come out... Bad. Eh, I'll learn eventually.

Hail, ponies! I am October Days, pony occultist. At least, that's what I call myself. And my cutiemark definitely seems to agree. And this tome of dark magicks from before the time Celestia. Don't tell anypony I have that.

 

On a more serious note, hi. I've just joined the forum and... Yeah. I'm a brony, (duh) though I'm not particularly active in the community or anything. I 'm a gamer and an ok artist, but I can't  draw ponies for shenanigans. So yeah. Off to go summon some star beasts(or whatever else Equestria has as an equivalent to demons, eldritch horrors and the like)!
