I am now thinking to abandon the fandom, it completely lost my interest within the show.

I am bored of drawing ponies with graphic tablet.

It is envy!

When someone becomes so popular or rich, most other people will have the nature of hating caused by envy.

It is a human nature, an automatic respond toward a force that is stronger than you.

Likes people hate Jews, because they are rich

People hate America, because it is a world super power, won everything.

Luckily, I think most of the negativity has died down now. Most people seem to be either comfortable with the idea now or just neutral, which is better than being negative at least. Me, I am probably one of the biggest supporters of it. I love it! I love this kind of character growth and it makes me happy that the writers are willing to push things forward for our beloved characters. That is the biggest hope that Twilicorn gives me, it is one of the biggest indicators that the writers can and will push things forward and even change things. That is something I look forward to. Plus, they are doing it right. Twilight's personality is not dramatically changing as we can plainly see and it shouldn't at this point, not at all. Maybe it might change well down the line a bit but that is the thing, some things about us can change, sometimes not, so it is just wait and see there.

 

This is why I had only one fear for season 4 and that was them backing out on Twilicorn or something. I really did not want that to happen at all, it was the only thing I would outright object to. As we can see though, they aren't doing that and are quite comfortable with the concept and are handling it greatly so far with what he have seen.

 

So I look forward to the future of the show even more because of this. It opens many doors of possibilities and I for one am really happy for Twilight being a princess. She deserves it.

Not really, from my true heart i could say that "You may be wrong."

You see that people less complain but that don't mean that they are still watching the show.

In otherword, some lost the interest in the show and stopped watching the show. So that possibility is really possible, my friend is quite an example for this since he now completely lost interest of the show and currently dropped death in FIM fiction or any mlp website.

Because i still observing there is no change either in increase of bronies or fans or the catastrophe of MLP.

Meh i think we're getting trolled by one of our own here. Just another call for attention by using faulty logic to make a thread where everyone pokes holes in the arguments. Just because they didn't reveal Discord as the culprit behind the Luna / Celestia flashback and chaos in ponyville didn't mean that he won't be revealed as the bad guy later. I'm pretty sure the writers are indicating they are going to carry some ongoing plots and themes throughout the whole season and that Discord will cause trouble yet again.

I am more than happy to see if my logic works or not.

But in the end, we both know the answer that if season 4 is the final season many people will be pissed off.

The only truth that can't be removed. As long as the ugly flawed truth is still exsisting, it is a sore in our eyes.

So many people hate the openings because they don't give us what we expected for so long.

At least, they have shown us some good flashback about history. But i think it is unecessary since most people can invent the brief history themselves, but the exsistence of the tree of Harmony amused me most.

It's true her eyes are not derped here, but that mane style and the fact that that is a pegasus make it pretty clear it's her.

 

And even if you don't accept it as a sighting, her not being in the premiere does not mean she has been removed from the series.

You photoshoped it, i have seen the original version. There is no Derpy, even many bronies also confirmed that they didn't find her at all. 

So don't fool me!

I have seen most people today are very excited to see the first two episodes of Season 4. Of course, you are! You have been waiting for so long to see the return of your beloved ponies and Mane 6. Yes, some of you even celebrate the opening with the party of Thanksgiving.

I have seen many people in the forum are to be "satisfied" or over-praising the crews. What i am about to say is likely to be a rant but also a clarification of my core expectations and what i have seen so far. I am not being judgemental at this point, because there is still a season onward. So this may conflict your viewpoints or sensitive jingoism of fandom. 

1.  New Baddass Evil Villain (Not in exsistence)

Still looking threatening!

Every beginning of season, there is always an appearance of different villains. Nightmare moon is great, Discord is godlikely baddass, Chrysalis is amazing and Sombra is dully nice. While season 4 in the beginning has no villain! NO VILLAIN! Those spiky plants aren't even making history, they are not threatening like dull Sombra. Sombra has the sauron voice, baddass eyes and awesome powers but these spiky plants seem to have no consciousness or reason of being evil at all. It looks like i am watching National Geographic about fictional moving plants or Indiana Jones spin off!

I know this is just the beginning but it makes me starting to worry. The crew has broken the geological order of the show, they believed that they can make things differently greater. McCarthy revealed about other new villains but never revealed about another core villain likes Discord or Nightmare moon.

I will wait at this point.

2. Less len flare (More lens flare)

So much LEN FLARE!!!

A minor expectation of the show which i am kinda sick to see really much len flares in Star Trek. Len flare does hurting my eyes quite sometimes and really annoying. But then the studio misuses len flare in the beginning in the glass room, pretty tasteless.

That is just a minor expectation! Not really matter at all.

3. Unique disapearance of the princesses.(Pretty unique but defying the law of physic)'

Unreasonable!!! A disgrace of the creation.

The last time, Chrysalis uniquely defeated Celestia then imprisoning her in the spore. I LOVE THAT Scene! Then to the season 4, the idea of being kidnapped was quite creative. I love that too but it is weird to think. How did the plants know the location to kidnap Celestia in the palace? Why Canterlot is unaffected by the spiky plants while only Ponyville does? If the plants infiltrated into the high magical secured compounds, why it still sneaked in? Beside, Celestia was in the high floor and plants only grew on land soil. How did the plant manage to grow from the deep land into the rooftop to kidnap celestia and luna without causing any damage to the castle? 

No way, it was planted on the high floor. It is unreasonable to have a plant grow from deep land to second floor secretly kidnapping your princesses without alarming the guard. 

Defiance to the law of logic and physic!

4. Flashbacks about the battle between princesses and brief history of Equestria (Existed, but a little misusing)

True story! I hope it won't happen to MLP

I have to say, i love those flashbacks tell the hidden stories of Equestria. From the discovery of Harmony to the banishment of Luna, the flashbacks are great. They have been applied really well, were illustrated excellently. 10 points for that but those flashbacks aren't much necessary helped Twi to rescue the princesses more efficiently. Those flashbacks seem like fillers, i hate fillers because they always extend the unecessary parts shouldn't be canons. But these episodes are exceptional for telling a great history which doesn't connect much to rescue Equestria and its princesses. Because Twi can easily figure it out by just following the trace of the plants without consuming the elixir of time.

I fear MLP will soon be flooded with fillers just like Naruto and anime. 

5. Expected Discord to return back to evil ( Not satisfied, but he helped.)

This was my expectation! But come on, he served his purpose to entertain everyone

Many people like me have been asking the studio to make Discord to return back to be evil and chaotic. He is awesome, great and powerful! Sadly, the term is not satisfied conditionally because it will create a plot twist. But they did do something to pay us back, Discord is getting funnier lately, but not funny enough when comparing back to previous seasons, but i can't count it out. Discord acts cordially, i am satisfied for the offer. His appearance has enlightened the mood of most people, it was Discord the one who saved those two openings from being shrouded in the darkness of plot twists and dissapointment. He has satisfied my joy although not completed my expectation or assignment.

6. DERPY!!! (I am filled with anger currently)

Damn Hasbro! I will reap your souls soon.

The most beloved character of an entire show, even more popular than Mane 6 and even Discord himself. EVEN WORSHIPPED LIKE A GOD, now is removed. The more i write about this absurd removal, the anger fills within me. The heart and soul of the show is removed by Hasbro, corporated bastard. The reason why i feel the show is tasteless currently because of her removal. For the fact, i have used slow mo technique to carefully analyze everything before writing this. NO DERPY!

I am frustrated to see, i know many people are just plainly ignorant and blindlessly following the show without much consideration and analysis. But this removal is a great hit to the fandom! The critical rampant one.

Conclusion: I know the show has many troubles currently as the crew does because of the oppressive Hasbro. I understand that, i will watch the entire season before giving my final judgement. But it seems these problems so far have equally destroyed the awesomeness of the show as well as keeping it to say awesome. In another word, it means balance. Just enjoying what you like and love, i am just suggesting that it seems most people don't care much about the problems of the show, so they just shut their eyes to the truth called reasons and expectations. Pretty much familiar to romanticism, huh?

Heard in The Enquirer that they are having bedroom issues when Shining Armor shouted "Twiley!".

They couldn't help Ponyville because they were in couples therapy.

They are making baby, so keep your voice down!

Yes, he is now boring than ever.

Few past seasons, he is awesome with mastermind plans and now a clown servant.

He becomes too repetitive for me to hate.

I love the episodes for the flash backs but i lost the interests soon because there was no specific villain.

What made the show great because of villains now the studio ruined it by putting some spiky plants out of nowhere with no much of consciousness or direct evil masterplans.

Plain soap drama episodes!

She is busy working out with Shining Armor on bed, probably still in sleep.

My thought:

- Dissapointment

- Facepalm

- Objective angry face

- Worse than Sombra, no really villain

- Too many lens flares

- Awkward moments

You mean the "cleaning house" from those that were only in it for some misguided reasoning where they believed they OWNED the show and its characters?

TBH I'd love to see these individuals try having that much control over their own lives. Just sit back, relax, enjoy, and realize that its going where its going.

Like it or not, that is how things go.

I won't miss anyone who'd leave a fandom over the misguided attempt to control it. Would I feel disappointed if things don't go well? yeah, but that won't stop my love of the characters, or the previous seasons.

 

Though My question is, will Hasbro try to tank the series on purpose (some within have already expressed it wasn't supposed to last this long as is. And it wouldn't be the first time they've done it), or will they truly put the effort behind making it the lovable series we've known since the start of it?

S3 was a quick throw together mostly, so thats where one has to wonder...

Yep. You have explained all what i have been thinking, I have been losing interests in this fandom, with the repeative canon and artistic designs. Drawing ponies is freakin boring now. We want a change, the company is the one now who will decide the next waves of people to bombard the culture and show or going back to love it.

It is up to them to decide.

I am excited to see the turning point of the fandom and show.

Collapse or rise, both are very interesting to see.

The last remaing 8 hours until season 4 airs, is probably the longest hours of our lives.

I can use chronovision to see but I do not like.

So I expected to see a big change within the culture and show development.

After all months of hibernation, I was distracted by Naruto, assassin creed 4, attack on Titan and SAT.

Now I expected to see the better MLP season. To disprove all my doubts about the show, or erase my interests in it.

The great boom bust of MLP culture

So excited to see it!

It has been about 3 weeks, my conscience starts to decrease the time for MLP likes searching about MLP. Listening to all kind fan musics, see fan artworks, watch fan videos, re-watch MLP episodes, constantly update the Hasbro crew's latest status and checking Equestria Daily.

During these days, i hardly find any good fan made materials on the web. The hillarious memes started to receive my objective looks rather than my enjoyment laughs. Those songs started to get old, the new songs are just plain boring. The fan animations or videos are repetitively uncreative at some point, the majority of them are just crossing over with other popular franchises; some videos are too violent. Fan artworks or comics are just always the same stereotypes, unchanging in context as well as quality; in other words, they don't satisfy my basic minimum requirement.

If some of my friends here, you will notice that i have been less interactive lately. Not because of schoolwork. But i am just simply bored, i don't hate anything about fandom or criticizing the franchise. But i am just simply bored, with nothing to do. Getting too distracted away from the fandom because of the anime (Naruto shippuden mainly), BF4, writings,.... Actually, i still have some spare times from those activities but my conscience uses the boredom to justify the mean of not entering MLP anymore.

I have no idea. I have only been in the fandom for two months but all my excitement and interests quickly vanishing. Many bronies are really excited for Season 4,i was too excited back then. But then the next day, i don't remember about it anymore.

I never think about leaving the fandom but i am just kinda getting bored to the show because of my conscience.

It was a really good review though. 

It would be the huge stupid plot twist. I am 100% disliking this opinion.

Because the plot will become to repetitive and boring. Some of luna fans may disagree but i just dislike this idea.

Celestia had been created to all-good, now being corrupted . The majority of fandom will dislike it and the parents of young girls will complain to Hasbro. Critics will criticize this like a damnation.

Do you wanna hear a nearly true conspiracy theory?

Hasbro has been working to erase the adult and teenage fans out of MLP. They fear that we are making more enemies to hate us like religion, government, politicians,... In another word, we are annoying to them and Hasbro doesn't want their reputation to be diminished. So they have been constantly doing things that opposite to the fandom from alicorn to equestria girls and removal of derpy.

Especially the removal of Derpy,it was considered the high act of treason to the fans. Their most beloved character is now removed to non-exsistence, many people raged because of her vanishment in season 4 promo.

The most notorious treason for this conspiracy is Hasbro always works against us,the bronies.

Bronies are gay! That is the most absurb claim i have ever heard.

But they also made some claims that are really stupid but in somewhat maybe true (I am not in these cartegories)

- Bronies are losers in life (This claim greatly insulted many fans even me, but arcording to my observation i rarely truly see many educated bronies or successful bronies. Even my friend's uncle is also a brony, he spent large amount of money on MLP merchandises and his wife threatens to a divorce because of this. This may be true but i don't claim it to be true.)

- MLP is satanic (Very religious insulting since some bronies are Christians. But i don't want to say this is 100% false since it has some envidences making me to reconsider of disproving this.)

- Pedophiles/Stalkers/Rapists (Another stupid claim, i want to smack them. But i have seen some of my known bronies, some of them rumored to be pedophiles. I don't claim this to be true).

- MLP is the product of Illuminati (Most absurb conspiracy claim ever made in human history arcording to most fans. Since there are many envidences testify the truth of New World Order so i haven't yet disproved this theoretical claim.)

There are assassin's creed books?!?!?!?!?! I'm overly joyed now I'm so going to get all of them, is the 4th one out? 

 

Borderlands 2 was just boring after the 1st play, I did like playing BL1 a lot tho, also saints row 4 sucked major balls.

I play Skyrim on pc and I've gotten so bored with it, the mods aren't that great any more and it's lonely after awhile....I wish they had put multiplayer into elder scrolls 5 or whatever it is...

How long did you spend on Skyrim?

Beside i have to assert you that Elder Scrolls will suck if it goes MMO. 

Many Elder fans hate ESO like me, ESO is just going to be another failure too.

The graphic and mechanic are supposed to be awesome like Skyrim. Sadly, Bethesda didn't do that

Skyrim gets boring after while, lacks original dungeons (okay maybe except few) and annoys me with player's lack of power over the story. You're given different ways to reply to a dialogue, yet it rarely changes anything about story.
