    So about a week ago I officially became a licensed driver in the state of Colorado and I thought I'd share what I've learned in this first week of driving.
     
    1) Parking lots are hell!
    Parking lots have to be my least favorite aspect of driving cars pulling out everywhere, people running out in front of you, a constant battle for the best spot the bigger the lot the worse.
     
    2) There are a lot of stupid people out there
    ^ I think this one is pretty self explanatory.
     
    3) and finally, the best way to enjoy driving is by playing one of two songs White Walls or Thrift Shop by Macklemore.

    So I thought I'd make this due to the fact I don't have much else to to do so without further ado here's some info about me
     
    1. My actual name is John
     
    2. I am 15 years old turning 16 in April, so that gives you plenty of time to get a present (wink wink nudge nudge)
     
    3. In person I am really quiet and very shy, because of this I have one good friend and a few acquaintances I talk to on a regular basis. If you ever happen to meet me in the real world I am pretty chill.
     
    4. I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado which is about an hour drive south of Denver, CO and right at the foothills of Pikes Peak. I don't think we have any cool claims to fame, but we do have a shit ton of Marijuana dispensaries.
     
    5. Ever since I have was a kid I have loved space and anything to do with it, and I am currently hoping to study astrophysics after high school.
     
    6. I don't watch a whole lot of proffesional sports, but I do watch quite a bit of football, and my favorite team is the Seattle Seahawks mainly because a good friend of mine in 2nd grade was a Seahawks fan and ever since then I have stuck to that.

    Today I learned of a recent news story that just absolutely sickened me.

    So apparently a man in Pueblo, CO (about an hour from where I live) videotaped himself torturing and killing a 12 week old kitten, describing it as a "natural high". I can't even begin to imagine the type of person who could do such a horrible thing. Right now he is facing about a year of jailtime for animal cruelty, but I personally believe he deserves ALOT more than he is facing. I know I am an atheist, but it's people like this that make me hope there is a hell just so they can burn in it. Thankfully another cat in his home was rescued and is being taken care of by the Humane Society. I have 3 cats, and I can't even begin to fathom causing even the slightest amount of harm to them, but the fact someone could so easily do this just makes me sick to my stomach.

    So I have a test on Circular Motion in physics coming up on Monday, and I thought "What better way to study then apply what I learned to MLP:FIM?"
     
    Well, many of you may remember this scene from "wonderbolts academy"

    Well through some observations I calculated various values relating to the circular motion of the pony (Wildflower according to the internet).
     
    Here is my work on paper

    So without further ado here is my explanation:
     
    Based on observation and a educated guess that the length of an outstreched pony is about 4ft I found the distance from the dizzitron to Wildflowers COM to be about 1.5 pony lengths or about 1.83m.
     
    Another educated guess, I assumed the average adult pegasi probalby weight about 60lb or 27.22 Kg.
     
    At maximum angular velocity Wildflower makes 1 rotation about every 1 seccond about the dizzitron making her final angular velocity to be about 6.28 rad/s.
     
    The time required for the dizzitron to reach maximum angular velocity came out to be about 6 secconds.
     
    Finally, Wildflowers moment of inertia, without counting the dizzitron itself plugged into the formula I=mr^2 came out be about 91.16 Kg * m^2
     
    Based on this I was able to find angular acceleration, Tangential Velocity, Radial Acceleration, Centripetal Force, Torque, Angular Momentum, and finally Rotational Kinetic Energy.
     
    Now, the calculations.
     
     
    Studying with ponies is the only way to study.

    So the other day I was watching "The Curse of Oak Island" on History channel with my Dad, and if you didn't already know there is a mysterious "money pit" on Oak Island discovered about 200 years ago. Many theorize at the bottom of the pit could be pirate loot, the holy grail, or even the ark of the covenant. However, I figured it out. now gather around and see what is at the bottom of the pit.
     
    When they finally uncover it they will find a large stone with this symbol carved into it.

    So it's three AM I'm getting really tired and I have homework I need to be doing but I don't want to.     Because, who doesn't enjoy a good bandwagon, especially for a first blog entry.
     
    so without further ado here is what I did during the outage.
     
    1. Stayed inside, because it snowed like crazy yesterday.
    2. Played some KSP.
    3. Went to Barnes and Noble and got this sweet book.

     
    4. Watched Rarity takes Manehattan 3 times, and I still have it on my DVR.
    5. Watched the Saints and Eagles playoff game while my dad was freaking out until the last seccond(he's a super diehard Saints fan, what sucks is now they have to go play Seattle, which is my team).
    6. aaaaaand, finally I sat at my computer staring at the "Site is down" message and did this
