I have to say, for an 'amateur', I'm really digging this music so far. Had a listen to Molestia's and Dischord's Theme and, even though I personally don't feel they match the characters, it's still a good listen. It's not exactly something I'd listen to on its own, but would really be nice to listen to while I'm streaming. I think it's because there's no 'story' in this music so it works better when listening to it in the background. Will definitely check out your YouTube account and listen to some more.

 

By the way, as long as the quality is good, people will notice you. Just have patience!

EDIT 2: Just listened to your latest piece and holy SHI-. I actually howled in laughter - it was that awesome - when it came to the drop. This is the first time I've actually appreciated dubstep. The closest I got to it was psystep. Still, dubstep's not my sorta thing, but since I like this... damn, your music is good!

And yes, I update the thread with new song whenever I make one, but there's a little problem, because I cannot post more embedded youtube links, since there's nopony who comments on it, and it seems that I'm not allowed to post more than 3 in one group of posts without somepony commenting. I guess it's to prevent spamming or something.

True, but they get a lot. It's just sad that people who make boring and low quality stuff get on EQD, even several times, and some really good artists are just overlooked.

How long does it normally take for them to respond with an acceptance or rejection email?

 

Some people told me a week. Some told me 2 weeks.

I only make music, but I make some art and post it on Youtube with it. Idk if that counts. I also made a few graphic audio equalizers for a few songs.

How does one do this? Just a simple email to the email they give? I can try once I figure it out. Im really surprised they haven't accepted anything, most of your music is really good. I still listen to Space Dubtrot (without sound clips) quiet often!

 

Oh and question: How did you do the vocals in Smiles? Any tutorials you watched or anything?

 

Well, EQD has mails, people can send a mail to Submit@equestriadaily.com and about the vocals, I have a plugin called Melodyne, it's the best plugin for working with vocals, but not only vocals but the whole song structure when you want.

Holy freaking crap, this is amazing. I have Kirby to thank for showing me this, but you now have a fan of your music as this is just freaking epic.

Lol, what? What do you mean? I'm not good at all. I suck at making good music. I just scribble and add some sounds I find nice, put them together somehow and go with it. Plus, no matter how hard I try, I can't get to places I want to get. But I have some good news. I've actually learned to use the FL Studio better now, so I'm not a complete noob, hehe.

Wooah! Thanks! I'm glad you all like it I don't know about the collab, I never do collabs because we would both have to have the exact same plugins and the exact same versions of them,not to mention the DAW, and that's not impossible, but it takes time. Let me know about what you use.

I make it in Fruity Loops Studio. But you need some plugins for making really good beats. BUT...most plugins aren't free.

vanilla is boring and not very scary. The one I made is about 3 times worse.
