    I'm not sure why some prefer one or the other, but as for me, I prefer the term brony over using both brony and pegasister, because brony was coined first and is used more frequently than anything else. Also, I don't see the point or think it's necessary to divide the fanbase based on gender.

    My favorite things to do are all quiet, calm things like hang out with my boyfriend, have a cup of tea while reading or watching a good show or movie, taking a nice stroll to nowhere in particular, listening to music, etc.

    My ancestory is a mix of things including Cherokee, German, English, Irish, and Scottish. I wish my family history was more concentrated in one place though. It'd be nice to have an actual heritage.

    Definitely Fluttershy. We're both very shy and reserved; so much so that we have a tendancy to be a doormat. We prefer the company of animals and nature and tend to keep to ourselves doing quiet activities.

    I'm pretty sick of it. I hate how they're trying to force it down everyone's throat.

    It has made my boyfriend and I closer. He was a brony when we started dating, and though I didn't like the show at first, I gave it another try because of him and ended up loving it. It's a nice thing that we share now. Also, it helps pull me out of my depression and helps me cope with my anxiety. There's always some positive thing to learn in each episode, which helps me develop a healthier, more hopeful outlook on life.

    I chose it because when I'm feeling down or sick, I always watch MLP while sipping on a huge cup of tea. Plus, who wouldn't want to have tea with Pinkie Pie?

    I used to hide it everywhere - even online - but I'm more open about it now. The way I see it, people are always going to find something to criticize, so what's the point in trying to please everyone? It's impossible. Instead, be comfortable with yourself and what you like and just learn to ignore them.

    I became a brony in June of this year when I met my boyfriend. He had told me that he was a brony, which I didn't have a problem with, but told him I wasn't interested in the show, having already watched a few episodes and didn't really care for it. He urged me to give it another try, but this time around, I liked it a lot more this time around and marathoned the first season. I've been hooked since then.

    I'm not a big fan of him. My boyfriend really likes him, but I think he's a little annoying and overrated.

    With my coffee, no matter the flavor, I just add a little cream or milk. I cut sugar awhile ago but don't really miss it. As far as tea goes, I take most teas - black and herbal - plain, but sometimes a splash of milk is always nice.

    I love all the Slavic languages; especially Russian, which I'm learning because my boyfriend is Russian. I also really like Finnish, French, Norwegian, and German. Russian will always be my favorite language though. It's so beautiful!

    I'm just now starting to open up about liking MLP, but it feels great, and now I'm looking for new friends who share my interest in ponies! Pinkie Pie is my favorite, because she's so happy, friendly and full of energy. As someone who suffers from depression and anxiety, she gives me a lot of strength and makes me feel excited and hopeful about life. Some other quick information about me is that I love tea and collecting tea-related things, have a passion for baking (and am pretty great at it too!), and love reading just about everything.
