  1. I've seen this argument countless times and its just ridiculous. What if Is Islam is correct and you're wrong? Then you burn in hell. What if Mormons are right? You burn. What if any other random religion that believes in a hell is right? You burn. You get the point. If you're believing just to "be safe" then you aren't really believing. Why should I be more scared of Christian hell and not Islamic hell? You're only believing this out of blind fear of a hell you were told you will go for not believing. It's sort of like a marketing gimmick. Every product in existence paints this horrible picture of what will happen if you don't use their product. The churches use hell in this way to get you to attend church. What better way to get kids to attend church than to tell them they will roast in an eternal pit of flames for eternity if they don't attend? Nobody, and I mean NOBODY that has ever lived or will ever live deserves to burn in eternal agony forever. Going to an eternal hell for non eternal crimes is not justice. And the "faith only" requirement is incredibly unfair. You're telling me that a serial rapist can "repent" shortly before death and enter eternal paradise but Gandhi is burning in hell for eternity simply because he happened to believe in the wrong God despite all the good he did for the world? There are thousands of religions to chose from, all of which have many books written and have many persuasive arguments as to why you should believe them. So if you choose the wrong one based on however many factors you deserve eternal torment? I don't buy it. One last note: You mentioned Jehovah's Witnesses having different criteria for eternal punishment. Jehovah's Witnesses don't believe in any sort of hell. To them you either go to Heaven (For the 144,000 "chosen" witnesses), a New Earth (similar to Heaven, but more like a perfect earth), or just die and are wiped from existence.
  2. I disagree that they're overpaid. With the amount of money the NFL makes, the player's deserve a fair cut. And it isn't as easy as just "throwing a ball around and tackling each other". It's extremely physical and is incredibly hard to be good enough to be in the big leagues. Well Soccer is constantly moving but I don't find it as exciting as football. It stops a lot but the NFL is brilliant in making those stops feel like they pass in no time. The camera work, replay system, commentary, etc is phenomenal.
  3. In modern times, Scientology is one of the most dangerous religions. Browse through the Wikipedia page on Scientology to see what I mean. They scheme you out of thousands of dollars to rid you of make believe "Thetans" (which are alien beings that were deported off their planet 76 trillion years ago by the evil "Lord Xenu") so that you will "live a happier life". I'm confused as to what you define "true" and "wrong" as. Google defines them as: True - "In accordance with fact or reality" Wrong - "Not correct or true"
  4. Your whole assessment is that all religions are true and that none are more true than another. Mario has no evidence. Jesus has evidence. Evidence > No evidence, therefore Christianity is more true than a Mario religion. Some religions are just absolutely insane and dangerous (Scientology, Satanism, Heaven's Gate, etc.), these of which should not be encouraged and supported as "just as true" as any other religion.
  5. A religion based on Mario would be less true than Christianity for example. Mario is universally accepted to be a fictional character in a video game created by humans. There is no evidence whatsoever to support Mario's existence. Jesus Christ on the other hand has been practically proven to have been a real human being and some of the Bible has historical evidence to back up some of its claims. Just like how practically no one worships the old Greek and Roman Titans and Gods such as Zeus and Apollo anymore as its widely accepted that these beings are not real based on evidence pointing to their stories being false. If anyone believes that Mario is their God they are incredibly delusional
  6. This doesn't make sense. Two things that contradict each other cannot be true. The Bible and the Quran can't both be true words of God. Brahman and Allah can't both exist and so on. If I make a religion that worships Mario does that make Mario true?
  7. No one knows for sure although there have been people who have "died" and came back to life. Most just don't remember seeing anything and it just felt like time had passed, similar to how it feels when you sleep. There are a few people who have claimed to have "seen hell or heaven" but they're probably lying. Why would any sort of God let these people get a second chance by showing them hell but not others? I highly, HIGHLY doubt in any sort of reincarnation into another body. Any kind of eternal paradise or hell is also unlikely. We probably just die. But we'll never known until we finally kick the bucket
  8. I was absolutely terrified when I saw the movie "Signs" at the drive-in theater when I was like 6 or so years old. I was crying under the seat and slept with the light on for about a week. Anything involving aliens has always been scary to me.
  9. That was amazing! Easily my favorite episode of the season and it had one of the best songs in the series. I really have no complaints. It was simply a fun episode. 10/10
  10. I want a life size cardboard cut out of Bill Clinton. Why? No idea. It would just be funny to have sitting in the corner of my room.
  11. This thread needs more ICP & Twiztid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ludc6IlFmeg And some Soopa Villainz for good measure
  12. MLP is the top brand for the HUB Network at the moment. The ratings have been consistently high and it isn't showing signs of slowing down. There will definitely be a season 5 at this rate. As for the content, it will likely be similar to what we have now. They will make another movie down the line as well.

  15. Added all of ya. I'm xFraGxx. I added you as well
  16. Maybe the Illuminati and New World Order has something to do with this? Maybe it's all a secret plan to slowly introduce new members to the forums at an increasing pace, making the higher ups on the forum incredibly excited that so many new members are joining. Eventually the web masters will have to upgrade the servers for the site to handle the overload of new members. This will cause the server to crash, exposing the secret stash of classified documents describing a way to enter Equestria buried deep in the code of the website. They will then use this knowledge to enter Equestria and take it over for themselves, then return to earth with their newly acquired pony powers to take this planet over! lol just kidding. People just lose interest I suppose or are too shy to post most of the time.
  17. While I see what you're trying to say, it is healthier to be of a normal weight. It can be a serious problem (and possibly life-threatening) for some people. You should try to lower your weight if you're overweight or raise your weight if you're under but don't get discouraged if you're having a hard time. It isn't easy.
  18. (edit: i no longer play PS3 or Xbox 360) I usually play Call of Duty MW2 or MW3. I might be picking up Resident Evil 6 and FIFA 14 sometime soon. I'm getting DBZ Battle of Z when that comes out.
  19. I would recommend the Marshal Mathers and Slim Shady LPs. They are considered his best work by many. Personally I really don't like MMLP2. Sounds similar to his last couple albums which have been pretty bad. His main singles are getting repetitive. He needs to start doing his own chorus's again instead of getting Rihanna or Skylar Grey to do it.
  20. I would have to say Daring Don't. It was repetitive and the plot didn't make any sense
  21. My dream job would be to be the drummer in a band. The drums are just so much fun to play and I would love to make music
  22. That would have been pretty awesome actually haha
