As the title states, I'm looking for a 1x1 romance RP. What I'm looking for is a canon pairing, with us playing only canon characters. The matchup I want is Cadance and Shining Armor, only we start at the very beginning of their relationship when they first met. I'd prefer to play Shining, but the rest of the characters along the way, I don't care who plays who. I don't really have high post expectations. Good grammar please. Using the shift key, periods, and commas in all the right places and you'll be fine. Lines of text I can get up to 10 at times, however I average around 5. During slow moments of dialogue I can dip below that. It isn't a super hard-set limit. Just put forth a bit of effort and I'll be happy. Also, I'd like the romance to be slow and purposeful. No 'I love you' after the first few lines. Or the next few lines. Just make it realistic. Rules~ No godmodding. Either post here or PM if you're interested. I prefer if this RP is done through PMs, because it kind of defeats the purpose of having a private 1x1 RP if the entire board can see it. If you want faster responses we could also take it to e-mail or Skype, since those two I can access at my job but not this site. If there's anything I missed or you're wondering about, just ask. Not talking about anything hardcore. Just that when an RP is nothing but all romance all the time it gets a bit dull after a while. Just something to keep the RP interesting.

I don't really know where to start here. Never really been on a forum for RPs, only chat rooms. But anyway, as the title states I am searching for a 1x1 romance RP. Onto the RP itself, I only do MxF and only have male OCs. Sorry to all you MxM romance lovers, but it's just not my thing. As far as characters, I only have one and he's a changeling. But that's not to say I don't use other characters, it's just that I create them for specific RPs so I have none that would constitute making an entire reference sheet for. But if you want, I could come up with one beforehand. As far as the changeling goes, nobody likes him but I leave him as an option anyway. Plot is best figured out and collaborated privately. I don't really have high post expectations, if you misplace a 'you're' it'll annoy me slightly but I won't call off the RP because of it. But I abuse the heck out of commas, so I'm not one to judge. Specifically for the RP board. I kind of get that you don't want noobs who can't grasp the concept of the shift key or commas flooding the board, but this is the wrong way of going about it. I understand 5 posts isn't exactly breaking the bank, but you still get to deal with the little spammy posts such as this from people who only want to RP and don't care about the remainder of the board. Who knows? Maybe I won't like the various RPs of this site and will abandon ship, leaving nothing but a handful of useless 'I hate this system' posts.

I've only joined this site for the RPing, and I've just recently found out that 5 posts need to be made before I get access. So apologies in advance for using this topic for post farming. After this is down, 4 more to go! Edit: Apparently there are failsafes against farming.
