  1. Eeek these are so adorable! I love their little squishy faces. The first one is my favorite.
  2. Cinderella. It just never, ever did anything for me. If the Fairy Godmother never showed up, Cinderella would've been screwed. The entire cat and mouse chase stuff was unneeded and just a time waster. If I wanted to watch that I'd pop in Tom & Jerry. Finally, the rest of the film was just ... completely uninteresting and dull as a rock. I like the Godmother's magic and how mean the sisters are. And even then it's only a mild like. I practically didn't care at all even about those factors.
  3. Smosh Pewdiepie and Fred. As for Youtubers I like a lot - AndrewArcade and Robbaz.
  4. I would have to say Applejack is #1 and Rainbow Dash is #2. The two of them seem to have one-another's elements. Rainbow Dash is blunt about things. She certainly isn't afraid to lie. Applejack has lied on occasion. I can not specifically recall a good moment where she lied, but I'm pretty sure that she lies more than Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash has displayed loyalty a number of times but ... she's really not around all that much when you really look at it, and a few times she has in a sense "betrayed" her friends. I'm sorry for not being too specific but I intend on marathoning all 4 seasons soon so I will have a higher recall after I do so. As for the others, they actively display their elements on a regular basis.
  5. Oooh Data! That's an interesting role model. I still plan on watching that generation of Star Trek soon. I never really watched Star Trek before but that particular character has my eye.
  6. Very interesting posts, guys. @Delernil and @Princess PeachBlink, may I ask you why those are role models? (Though in Peach's case those are real people)
  7. Hi, guys. I'm asking this because I am genuinely curious. What kind of fictional role models did you have when you were a child? Specifically speaking, I'm curious about fictional characters that were your role model when you were an older child or a teenager but it's cool to list younger-child role models too. I'm also particularly curious about what female fictional characters may have been role models to you, because I'm wondering what kind of traits--male or female--appeal as something to look up to for kids of about this age bracket. The Final Fantasy series raised me. I played Final Fantasy 9 when I was in 5th grade and around 6th or 7th I was playing Final Fantasy 10. I looked up to Princess Garnet so much that I had my hair cut like hers (after she'd cut it off with the dagger). I believe what made me look up to her was because although she felt she had a heavy burden on her, with her responsibilities as a princess, and although her mother was a psycho ... she grew strong. She was weak at first and ran away from these troubles but she stuck with it. I saw her progression from weak to strong in the series and that really gave me something to admire as a young girl. I can say the same thing about Belle from Beauty and the Beast, someone brave and intelligent thrown into horrible circumstances but keeping it together. Also like Garnet, she truly loved her father. Garnet loved her mother even with Brahne being... well... Brahne. But an even bigger role model to me was Yuna from FFX. She's a girl with the weight of the world on her shoulders, but she keeps smiling and she stays hopeful. She'd even come to any sacrifice for the better good of the world.
  8. I appreciate the way you approached the topic and I am glad you made it so those who do not participate in MLP porn could also participate in the survey
  9. Are you sure it wasn't just paranoia? They were laughing specifically AT you? As someone with social anxiety, when people are laughing together I always think it's at me. Even though I know deeper down that they're not.
  10. I generally don't kill things unless I perceive them as a threat to me. I don't kill spiders unless I think they might be a brown recluse. We have those around here. The same would go to snakes; if I got attacked by a snake I probably wouldn't touch it unless I knew if it was poisonous but I don't worry about it too much because I don't see snakes all the time -shrug- I think unnecessary kills should be avoided but I mean, it's a cruel world and no one's going to cry over a single dead spider when there's more important things to worry about. Spiders breed in large numbers, so it'd be different if we were talking about an endangered species.
  11. Okay, sorry. Didn't realize the Applejack one was THAT popular because all the bronies at my school seem to love her. I'll try harder to come up with something. Let's see. I like Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon, and Gilda as villains way more than Trixie. In fact, Trixie sucks. I don't care even a little bit about Dr. Hooves, or a number of the background ponies. I'm so frickin' tired of all the songs. I think they should have 1/3 or 1/2 the amount they have now and focus on quality. I'd hate Fluttershy -- the only thing that saves her for me is the cute factor. If not for that, she'd be one of my least favorite ponies of the entire show. Any Homestuck and MLP crossovers make me angry, same for Frozen and MLP crossovers. I don't like Digibrony anymore and the same is starting to happen to Tommy Oliver--those two are too critical. I used to love listening to them. I hate the Flim Flam bros. music a lot. The show is still good and nothing negative is happening to it on a whole (aside from a biiit too much fanpandering but it's not too, too noticeable) I don't care about the mythological monsters in the show lately. Wish the show did more with them.
  12. Hard to think of these things. I think Applejack is usually boring. I prefer Luna over Celestia.
  13. I like earthy scents. The smell of eucalyptus is my favorite. Also, the smell of rain.
  14. Oh, I just want to add one last thing. The creepiest sound of all? Silence. In the proper context(s), silence is the most powerful. Sorry about that, I love my horror stuff very much.
  15. I did meet a hater, but I really just don't care at all. I basically mocked him, "Oh, you don't want to watch a show about ... poniiies?" and said the ponies part in a mock little girl voice. I have my own fun with it; that's how I deal with haters. Not on the Internet, though. That doesn't work the same as in real life.
  16. Shrill screech-like sounds; anything similar to a scream or a cry for help but distorted. Human noises isolated or put in an unnatural way. Usually warm, comforting sounds just slightly ... "off." These are common-types of noises used in horror. Anything that's unsettling is somehow not... quite... natural. It's the uncanny valley world of sound. I think the Silent Hill series nails creepy sounds. It has everything from telephones ringing, creepy carousel music, and distorted crying baby sfx to the jarring screech of metal scraping, whispering voices, etc.
  17. My favorite has always been and always will be Rainbow Dash. I am most loyal to her.
  18. My OC's name is Painted Lattice. Maybe makes people think of landscaping but... Anyway, howzzat?
  19. Whoa I haven't noticed all these replies. Sure, I would love to draw some of the CMC. Are you interested at all in seeing filly mane 6 or somepony else from me? Here is an update of some work, guys. I'll post a better picture when she becomes more complete... Needlefelted Fluttershy! wip Also, a reply to DJpon-3. I realize my stuff looks pretty "generic." But stylization is something that comes with practice and in the grand scheme of things I haven't drawn enough pony to develop stylization; I'm still at a study stage.
  20. Humans are dicks and are pros at killing almost anything. That's why I voted for 'em.
  21. Silent Hill is my favorite video game series. I love 1, 2, 3, and 0rigins. I would not consider 4 or Downpour the worst of the series. Shattered Memories was also okay. Homecoming was definitely the worst, in my opinion. In fact, on my first playthrough if i remember correctly I got abducted by aliens 1/3 of the way through the game. Either that happened or I just didn't bother making it through the sewers. At any rate, I quit playing the game after the sewers. It wasn't the Silent Hill I love.
  22. That was the BEST lesson I think this show has ever dished out!
  23. Best... episode... EVER
