His Last Vow...Oh my god. What a great episode. I loved Lars Mikkelson as Magnussen, so evil. Reminded me of Rupert Murdoch...but actually human. I'm annoyed he only got one episode. But ah well. Andrew Scott, return to your throne. We missed you. XD

Japanese Role Playing Video Games Thread (JRPG)
Emerald Scribe replied to Revy ~ Two Hands's topic in Media Discussion
I've played a lot of JRPGs from Final Fantasy to Persona. Persona 3 Portable is one of my favourite games ever, actually. I know that a lot of people prefer the storyline to P4, but P3P just felt a lot better to me. It's the only game I nearly got all the Personas on (I was on 96% and then circumstances happened and I lost my save.) The only reason I got a Vita was for Persona 4 Golden. @@SrFrog, I've only just started playing the Hyperdimension games. I'm enjoying them so far though. Also, I love the Atelier series. I do know a lot of people hate those games though!- 30 replies

1. Death. I mean majorly fear death. As in I lie in bed at night and just wonder "If this is all it then...when I die and there's nothing what will happen? Will I just cease to be?" 2. Nuclear war. I live in a big city. I don't fear a country will bomb us. As my mother says "It only takes one mad man," 3. Puppets, dolls, people in furry costumes. This is completely my mother's fault. She took me to an anti-vivisection event when I was like 2. And there were horrific things there including a man in a big mouse costume with needles and pins in it. So anything puppet, doll or costume like, I freak out.

It won't be Sherlock again but there is a character that dies in the books (after around 3 stories, actually) very quickly that I have an inkling it might be. Although in the books it's during the time skip of the Fall that she dies.

I've got a horrible feeling that next episode is going to be full on sad/angsty. We've had two reasonably amusing episodes. It can't be that way for the third.

Archie is his name. Brilliant character. I was almost cringing at the thought of a kid near Sherlock though!!

My opinion, as someone who works in a pub and thus is no longer amused by drunks... I found it hysterical. I was sitting there going "Don't do it...not drunk." 'Sitty thing, chair, sleeeeeep'

I loved this episode, slightly because Rarity is my favourite pony but majorly because this was the most decently paced episode of the season thus far. While "Generosity" felt like it went on a bit too long, the whole episode was full of great stuff. I loved Suri though, she was a very well done antagonist especially for only appearing in one episode, that's such a short amount of time to characterise.

Just seen Sign of Three... No spoilers but what a brilliantly written episode.

I've been playing FFXIV a lot lately. Partly because I love FF and...And also. I wanted a Carbuncle. Although right now I can't play because me and Square Enix are in somewhat of a standoff.

Sherlock is awesome however I live in the UK and saw the episode when it aired last night. I won't give anything away though. I'm a little confused why there's such a large gap between the UK broadcast and the American one but I don't work for the BBC so you know. The next episode airs on Sunday and I don't know when the third one does but it seems that the whole series will be done by the time America gets it.

Cheers, Wheatley. You never know about me posting my writing. I'm working on a series of short horror stories right now (I should be working on something else so obviously I'm not because all the cool kids procrastinate.)
