  1. Like Dave Matthews says, "Everyday should be a good day to die" You Never Know Hey, the moon is chasing me
  2. 1. The fans would scream bloody murder 2. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy have been flying most of their lives, so it's like second nature. Twilight sucks mad at flying, and doesn't make a lot of time to practice, probably because she's stuck in her books, learning how to be a princess (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ , and chillin wid her crew. She be like "Playa WUT? I aint got no time for that sheiit!"
  3. Fluttershy, oh boy, fluttershy. I hate her color scheme, and her personality is so annoying. To me, she doesn't really fit in well with the other mane 6. Oh well. Flash Sentry is so generic it makes my eyes burn, I wish they would have put a bit more effort into his character!
  4. I use my Visa with Aeroplan Miles for gas only. I've paid for 6 flights with those points over the course of 6 years (Not including taxes), and I never carry a balance on that card. Otherwise, I keep cash on me. I use my bank account to pay for my car insurance, cell phone, and my student loan payments. Everything else I pay in checks (rent) or cash. I have no move money around a lot, and I'd rather not pay 20 bucks a month for a bank account that let's me make unlimited transfers.
  5. Hypnosis is not a quick fix kind of thing, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The person being hypnotized has to actually believe whatever you are trying to get them to achieve for a better success rate. People who can easily visualize things and have a really well worked imagination respond the best. I'm pretty sure your friend wont be able to get you to do anything significant or life threatening, especially since she hasn't been practicing for very long. There are programs to become a registered and qualified hypnotherapist at certain institutions, and they cost a lot of money. Your friend won't get very far by reading a few books alone. If she really want's to learn how to influence people, tell her to read Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion, awesome book.
  6. I have a Rainbow Dash plushie (She sits right on my bass drum, I swear she makes me play better, maybe it's my good luck charm) and 2 t shirts, but I woulden't consider myself too hardcore as I have no intrest whatsoever in an OC or role playing. I plan on going to BronyCan, and I just really love the show and the community, so I guess iv'e made it my job to support everypony inbolved regardless
  7. If you're over 18 and you love to party, I don't care who you are, I want to meet you
  8. Welcome to this part of the herd, enjoy the forums dude!
  9. I think I got like 13% in PE 10, because I never showed up. Screw gym, I have better things to do, like play Magic at the food court in the mall.
  10. I can't choose my favorite, because it depends on the moment in time, but my top 3 are: Winter Wrap Up - The way it's written from a structural perspective is really interesting, the second bridge was a bold move, and it worked well. I've Got To Find A Way - This song proves that keeping things simple sometimes works better than trying to write a complicated tune. This will be my number 1 once they release the uncut version Smile Smile Smile - It makes you smile, how can't you like this, you hermit.
  11. I seriously can't even stand P&F, my friend used to be obsessed with it. As for the songs, the structure and pacing of Winter Wrap up is very impressive for a childrens show. The song itself makes you experience a variety of emotions just from the lyrics alone. The second bridge where Twilight solos really adds a certain spice to the song, and the fact that they even added that is a testament to their commitment to the content. Even if that second bridge wasn't there, it would have been a really good tune. Where this song falls is if you hear it for the first time without any video to help reference the lyrics with, as they only make a little bit of sense. This is only a minor issue though. Summer Belongs To You is a good song all in all. The pop/rock things always works, and the addition of horns really creates a certain excitement, but it does nothing to really creatively distinguish itself apart from other songs of the same genre. You can tell this tune takes a lot of influence from the rock and roll of the late 50's and early 60's. If you want to get up and rock out, you want to listen to Summer Belongs To You, but if you want a song that's not afraid to think outside the box, remaining structurally sound, and more than listenable, Winter Wrap Up is for you.
  12. Here's the thing, you can either purchase DVDs and rip them, or you can download episodes online. You can downlaod them legally through iTunes, and I don't know if any DRM on the videos that may stop you from editing them, but there are ways around that. If you choose to download them illegally online, there are many methods to do this, one being Bit Torrent, but that would be against the law, so use at your own discretion. Once you have the content, you can do whatever you want with it and post it online, as long as you don't monetize off of it (make money). So no adds. This actually helps and supports the creators of the content, because a ton of now bronies who purchase lot's of merchandise, were introduced by fan videos, so taking them down would take a large effort, and end up doing more harm to their pockets than good.
  13. No, but I did suffer from Panic Disorder and General Anxiety Disorder from about 11 years.
  14. I agree with most of his opinions, especially those regarding religion and feminism. He's smart and knows how to get views, which is his income, and I would do the same thing if I was in his shoes. Somepony gets raped every 2 minutes, and nowhere near that amount are actually killed, so his point stands, but I personally think he took this to far, it was not nessesary to say those things. It's true that some rape victums like to latch onto that for personal benefit, but most rape victums have a hard time letting go and forgviving what had happened to them. There really is no reason not to, I mean it's not forgiving the person who actually raped you, but it's allowing yourself peace that counts. And when he talks about this persons failed relationships, I'm assuming this is a girl, and it's a mans job to keep a woman attracted to him, so it was likely the mans fault, not hers. Speaking of relationships, his advice about those suck, don't listen to him. All in all, he's solid, but he does have stupid adds in his videos, and now-a-days he tends to drag on and on about less contraversial things. It's starting to feel more like a celebraty gossip channel.
  15. And IIIIIII regret nothing too! Welcome to the herd, it's OK, I smoke to, so you can join the smoking club. (Don't smoke kids, seriously, it makes you about 20% less cool). I can't wait to see you posting away, I think you'll love the community we have here. Have a good time, and stay cool man!

    Hello

ANOTHER Brony musician? That's 3 today, it must be some kind of record. I've been playing drums for 15 years, so if you need some help, ask away. Welcome to this side of the herd, make yourself at home!
  17. Oh a bass player! Awesome, we have a large musical community, so I'm putting you on my list. Welcome to the herd, have a good time, and stay cool man!
  18. Ah a piano major, you really know what you're doing then, I majored in Drums, so I have no idea what I'm actually doing! Welcome to the herd, and I'll see you around the forums, we'll have to make some beautiful music together sometime
  19. Nah, I would destroy it because there is not one person on earth who could ever use it responcibly. It might be interesting at first, but down the line I can guarentee you there will be way too many issues. Burn the bitch!
  20. No idea, there is no guage, call yourself whatever. Regardless, you're still here, so I call you a fellow brony, so Welcome to the coolest herd around!
  21. I like your attitude, welcome to the forums, make yourself at home, and stay cool Joy.
  22. Welcome to our fantasic little corner of the internet! This is a very artistic, and suprisingly intelegent community, I think you'll fit right up in this joint. Make yourself at home. See ya round the forums
  23. Don't have any. Kidding! My biggest fault is I don't think before I say or act when doing stuff sometimes. For example, I started smoking, and didn't care about the future, just in that moment mattered. I still smoke, and that was almost 5 years ago, bad move. I'm also bad with money, i'll just buy something if I really want it instead of thinking about other important things like rent or whatever.
