    first entry.

    what do you do with a first entry? that is a very good question, seeing as this is my first blog that isn't a school assignment.
    how about I introduce myself? My name starts with a G, and ends with an N, and my last name is marsh. I live in a city in Saskatchewan, which is a province in Canada, I am sure that you know. I am in high school, I am male, and I have a girlfriend. I sometimes noodle around on the piano, but I mostly play on my computer. If you know a Spirk Burkham on minecraft, that is me.
    I have no religion, I loathe even to call myself agnostic. I spend a lot of time in introverted thought, and am always willing to lend an ear to anyone who wants one.
    I like my little pony because it is just a great show (with an amazingly diverse and positive community). I admit that my original motive was that I had something great completely to myself in my community, and that I could finally get some perspective on what it is like to be in a misunderstood social minority.

    Today's events

    Today was a damn fine day, if I do say so myself.
    I had a great time most of the time, and the rest of the time was, at the very least, tolerable.
     
    EVENT 1
    A bit of background:
    Tomorrow is valentines day (I once mistakenly called it hearts and hooves day ). unfortunately, my girlfriend and I will not be able to celebrate the auspicious day with a date, because immediately after school she is going to LOS VEGAS and I am going to EDMONTON. So instead, we are going to do something wild and unexpected at lunch hour(kinda overselling it, she said "we'll wing it"). I am very much looking forward to it, regardless.
     
    EVENT 2
    A bit of background.
    Yesterday, I had a thought.
    this thought was "what do the mane 6's names mean to people with no exposure to MLP?"

    EVENT 3
    A little background:
    I work part time in the town library.
     
    I was shelving books in the juvenile Non-Fiction section, and I came across these values books(not for the first time, not for the last time) as I was shelving these books, I realized that a few of them explained in (very,very simple terms) some of the elements of harmony. Observe:

    today is a regular day.
    I had a thought.
    in this world, people are always complaining, saying that they are alone.
    sometimes they are.
    but most of the time they are not.
    they have every right to complain.
    but it will do them no good.
    they need to do something about it.
